@ Salvie
"I will repair your old suit, but for now you will have to wear something else anyway, to avoid getting recognized so easily by the security of the station."
"I don't know much about that Ruben, but I do have some intel about what is the deal with the ship and all that."
"I can also make an estimate about what is going on, with approximately 10% chance of error."
Salvie would be ecstatic to find out that indeed, the droid could receive her thoughts through the implant...and she could also receive data through it.
Chance gave Salvie some data that explained in a certain degree what was going on behind the scenes. On top of that, there were some estimates Chance made based on the intel Salvie had provided.

To sum it up, Ruben had been smuggling ancient Sith artifacts he found in an undisclosed location, and selling them to artifact collectors. The Hutts got wind of it, and they wanted to get in the business. The Empire also got wind of it, and wanted to find the location of the planet. Ruben went into hiding, and his ship fell to the Hutts.
The ship's navcomputer had the data about where Ruben got the Sith artifacts from. Without the nav-data, not even Ruben could go there (if it was in an unexplored planet, which it probably was). Unluckily for the Hutts, the navcomputer's data was encrypted, so having the ship did little for them. They needed Ruben too.
Neepo the Hutt arranged this race, as a bait to draw Ruben out. Neepo was sure that Ruben would bite the bait, and while he would have taken precautions to avoid getting caught, it would be a start into making him give up and work for them.
Relon the Hutt was an other hand...he didn't get the ship the first time around, so this time he decided to team up with Ruben against Neepo. The plan probably was to help him get the ship, and then they share the benefits.
The Empire sent your team to capture Ruben alive - after having him capturing the ship would be easy, and they would secure the Sith artifacts for them. The reason they didn't tell you, was probably to avoid giving you any ideas of getting more power than you should have.
Ruben probably has no plans to cooperate fully with either of them. He is probably going to try to play one against the other, and sneak out in the chaos.
Chance is sure that all of them haven't fully revealed their cards yet. The question is who will have the best hand when the shift happens...
She herself wishes that neither the Hutts or the Empire will get their hands on Ruben and the nav-data. For no other reason than generally being against both the Hutts and the Empire.
