Re: The Angel Angle (Tassadar) GMed by thetwo
The hunter nodded, and spoke briefly. "Very well. Good luck." Rex turned and started off into the woods immediately, in the direction of the corpses he and Nadia had left behind.
With that, the angel took to the air, going up far higher than before, until the road was barely a snake on the ground. It didn't allow her to move more quickly, really, but it brought a much larger section into view, and of course made her harder to see in return. Spotting individuals - or even the small group that she had spoken with before - would be nearly impossible, but a much larger group would still stand out.
She had to go nearly as far as she had to reach the scouts before she finally saw the orcs. Numbers were hard to judge from her height, but the initial impression was that hundreds might be not be an exaggeration. Perhaps not a very large army, as such things went - certainly not close to the whole force that had taken Gods-Reach - but at least a small army. Near the center of the group was a cluster of flags or banners that might mark out someone of importance, and even as Nadia noticed the larger group came to a sudden halt.
The army was a considerable distance behind Nadia's group, but likely moving faster, if they didn't have the sick and pregnant that the group from Petra had.
