Closing her eyes, even for a second, costs Ashley. Despite her best intentions, she snaps open her eyes again only to see the creature manage to grab hold of her left thigh. Despite feeling the tug of her magic towards the creature to where its focus must be located, Ashley's first reaction is to try and stumble back and away from the creature and escape its grasp. However, as she tries to move back, Ashley finds the creature's grip to be too strong and, after a strong jerk on its part, she finds herself falling backwards and onto her ass. Not letting up for a moment, the creature immediately surges forward, allowing more of its tendrils to reach Ashley's trapped form. Pausing only long enough to wrap another tentacle around Ashley's right thigh, the creature sends two tentacles forth to strongly penetrate the woman, pressing both into her ass and between her increasingly moist petals.

The surge of feelings is immediate. Ashley feels a rush of pleasure as one of the tentacles enters her vagina, stimulating the urges that had been bothering her ever since she cast her last spell. Ashley yelps as the creature wraps a tentacle around her thigh, the things proximity to her by this point eager flower filling her mind with idea of what the monster would do to her if she let it have its way. Her mind distracted, Ashley puts up only a token resistance as the monster pulls her in and penetrates both of her holes in a single motion, the wave of pleasure from her over-sensitive womanhood causing her to scream. She could feel it pulling her in, and her eyes scanned the monsters body for the magical focus. If she could just find it, she could break the magic that held it together, and banish the creature back to whatever place it had come from before it turned her into a toy for its pleasure and a mother for its spawn.

Taking advantage of the creatures momentarily lapse in concentration, Ashley is quickly able to cross a good distance of the way between the outside edge of the creature's reach and its actual body. Her eyes quickly scan across the creature's bulk as she approaches, trying to find the focus on the things body. As she does this, however, the thing starts to recover and its tentacles begin darting towards Ashley once more. Dashing about the groping appendages as she runs, she quickly eventually notices that her spell seems to be drawing her to a point on the underside of the creature. Unfortunately, that would mean she would basically have to squirm under the thing itself if she wanted to get it. Still, with no choice remaining as she doubts she can take another 'attack', Ashley lunges forth.

Reaching the creature past several more of its tendrils, Ashley leans down and tries to use the thing's tentacles as handholds to pull herself under the creature. However, before she can reach the focus, she can feel several tentacles wrapping around her legs. Fortunately, they don't seem to be pulling her out, but mainly just holding her while another two tentacles slide in to begin to stroke her sensitive holes. Desperately trying to pull herself just a little farther forward, Ashley gasps out as she feels the seeking tendrils penetrate her once more and begin to start stimulating her to release again. In between moans of pleasure and a thickening haze of pleasure, Ashley stretches out a hand one more time to try and grab at where the focus should be. Feeling her orgasm mounting, her hand closes down on a small object and crushes the apparently fragile thing. Now, though, the room is clear and Ashley can easily go to grab her prize from its pedestal. It might be a bit annoying going back through the obstacles to get back out, but the worst should be over now.

Releasing a sigh of relief, Ashley glances briefly at the remains of the focus that had been maintaining the tentacled creature before tossing it aside. She does make sure that the bits are separated, however, not wanting to risk the focus somehow regaining its magic and re-summoning the beast, or something worse. She immediately turns for the mirror on the wall, the prize for which she had gone through so much difficulty, and her possible salvation. She hesitates no more, figuring that the monster she'd fought was the final guardian, and grabs the mirror from the wall as soon as she can reach it.

Then, Ashley looks about for a more convenient escape route, hoping to not go back through all of the dungeon in order to escape. If there wasn't one, the young thief stoically proceeded out of the dungeon, being careful not to damage the mirror now stowed in her pack. In particular, she tried to avoid any encounter with the plant creature that had spawned from the pool of magical potions. Then, once outside, she'd go straight into the woods, making her way over rough terrain and being as careful as possible to avoid any pursuit, stopping only to steal a new set of clothes, as she made her way to the rich noble, mirror in her pack all the way.

Throwing away the silver wiring from the focus, Ashley walks up to the mirror with the black pearl held tightly in her hand. Then, reaching forward, she takes hold of the mirror, sparing only enough care to make sure she doesn't drop the black pearl as she grasps them both in her hand. Taking a moment to fully glance at the mirror, Ashley can see the entire thing seems to be sculpted out of something similar to glass, although it holds a slight warmth to the touch rather than the coolness that it probably should have had if it was normal glass. Turning, Ashley stows the mirror and pearl in her pack, the only bit of cloth that had really survived the entire experience.

As she moves back the way she came, however, Ashley finds there doesn't seem to be an alternate exit available to her. The only way out other than the way she came in seems to be the magical elevator, yet that isn't at this floor, so it isn't an actual way out. Fortunately, though, when she resigns herself to the room with the mutated plant, she finds the plant's tendrils seem to move out of the way before hand, possibly due to some of the magic from her prize. Even the main plant itself seems to try and sway out of her way as she moves. The next chamber does prove to be a bit troublesome, though, as Ashley is forced to spend nearly a half hour using what small bits of magic she can to clear a path free of the ashes of the plants there as well as the hot coals hidden beneath them. At the exit, Ashley is pleasantly surprised to find that the thorny netting must have caught fire from the plants at the other end of the cavern as it seems to have mostly burned away allowing her to follow the rock ledge to the end of the cave. Once there, Ashley finds that the tides have changed and that the eels from before have been drawn out to sea for the time being, Allowing her to wade unmolested back to the beach. From here, she moves into the woods as she begins to move towards the noble's home. However, the journey would take several days, and the sun is already setting. Feeling her fatigue setting in and knowing that it is too cold to hike naked and shoeless at night, Ashley finally decides to make camp hiding her bedroll in a small thicket in an attempt to hide from passersby. Then, after eating some of her trail rations, Ashley settles in for the night. At the same time, deep in her pack, the black pearl starts to pulse with a malevolent purple light, and, as Ashley falls into a dream, the pearl sends out tendrils of energy to touch the woman's mind. Inside, within the woman's dream, a door made of onyx slowly fades into being before opening and subtly drawing the dreaming woman in towards in. Soon, she would find out that the sorceress had one final line of defense for her precious mirror...

As Ashley drifts off to sleep, in her dreams, she finds herself at the entrance of a massive onyx door. The portal beckoned to her, and before she could help herself, Ashleys dream self went through it.
