I think they took necessary step back, to classical literature, boosted interest in Latin, Greek and Hebrew languages. Because of how classical works were, suggestion of each life having a value and importance of individuals took a new turn. People discussing their views and ideas, focusing hugely on a man.

Some of the most well known dicks and tits were drawn at that time.

One can easily see this if we look at how our society treats the individual in general circumstances (As a cog in the money-making machine.). Certainly humanism has waned.

I'm pretty sure if they're small enough to get in ear canals, no one participating is unaware of their genitalia being undersized.

Are you sure? Those are some big ears, wouldn't be risky to assume ear canals are quite large, plus, those are already stretched enough.

Somewhere a couple thousand lightyears away from our galaxy, alien species are observing us with their high powered photoreceptors...

Alien 1: "So what are the humans talking about?"

Alien 2: "I believe they're talking about orifices..."

Alien 1: "wait...what?"

Alien 2: "yes...they are talking about inserting their reproductive organs in non-reproductive parts of their own bodies...specifically their olfactory and aural organs..."

Alien 1: "we have ten of each..."

Alien 2: "mhmm..."

Alien 1: ...

Alien 2: ...

Alien 1: "When is that planet's next extinction event?"

I'd seen this elsewhere but seems relevant now, it's about as far out as humanities' radio broadcasts have reached.
