"Oh, looking for a weapon, are you? Well, I'm low on silver so if you promise to fetch more from the mine, I can finish the morning star I've been making for you."

Helena smiled and stuck out her hand "Deal! Where's the mine and I'll be on my way" She said with a smile. Seemed not everyone was a sex crazed deviant, she liked it here already!

"'Tis a half-days travel north of here. Just follow the old road." The smith makes his way to the other end of the forge and picks up a small piece of metal, starting to hammer it into what seems to be a spike.

"Well! Best get moving while the suns still out!" Helena said looking at Jasmine. Walking outside she began to twist and stretch, getting good and limber before taking off at a good jog down the old road and towards the mine. It felt good to be running again and the fear the area had instilled just last night slowly bled away...

The sun is still high in the sky and the lush forest seems beautiful and nothing as scary as it seemed last night. As an hour goes past, there is no sign of anything unusual, nor of any humans save for the road itself. As time goes by and Helena keeps her brisk pace with Jasmine, a feeling of being followed slowly distills into her spine, yet there is nobody on the road. The shadows are already starting to grow longer, but there is still plenty of sunlight left.

Helena's breathing falls into a stable rythmn, in pace with her steps as she continued to jog down the road. Figuring she could probably still talk to Jasmine the easier way, she tried to reach out with her mind, not wanting to waste her breath while she was running.

*So... I have an Idea on how I got here... What about you? How did you end up in this crazy place?*

*I don't know. I doubt it's a coincidence that we ended here together, though. I have a feeling that this place somehow attracts people. I was probably drawn in because I was close to you.*

*If that's the case then I'm sorry Jasmine...* Helena thought about it all as she ran, the steady thump of her shoes on the road relaxing and letting her focus. The EGG Pod, the mist, the story... It was hard to keep track of what was real anymore... *Do you think Ginny and Red are gonna be alright without you?*

There was the chance that this was all still the EGG and it was some extremely elaborate plot twist, in which case the technicians were getting a beating. And then there was the chance that this was real, that Jasmine was real, that the pods just kind of acted like some kind of transference device. O jesus H christ it was all a headache...

*Don't be sorry, it wasn't your fault. Besides, somehow this place feels...home.* Jasmine runs alongside Helena easily, even as Helena starts feeling first signs of tiredness in her own body. *I don't see why they wouldn't be, though they'll probably wonder what happened.*

Helena barked a harsh laugh. *If this places feels like home, then we're still in Hell and I'm REALLY in trouble* There was the burn that signalled a good workout, What a delicious feeling. Smiling broadly and lengthening her strides, she revelled in it.

The sun is already setting when Helena spots the mine entrance ahead, a mere cave that is supported by wooden pillars and a small shack next to it.

Helena smiles and jogs up to the shack, resting against it for a second before walking around in small circles to cool off. God that felt good, looking at Jasmine with a big grin on her face she poked around inside the shack for anything useful before heading into the mine...

The shack only has a few broken tools and a staircase leading down, with no sign of torches or lanterns, strangely enough. The mine entrance seems to be only a large tunnel sloping downwards.

*Yeesh, no wonder he didn't want to do this himself...* Helena slowly made her way down the stairs, this was a mine... There had to be Something useful...

Downstairs there's a smelting station consisting of two large furnaces. There's also sacks full of ore as well as some smaller bags, currently empty.

"Well, I have no idea how to use this, and he said pick it up, not smelt it. So we need a cart....." Helena said as she looked over the smelting apparatus. Odds were there was a cart or the like in the mine...

The smelting apparatus looks to be in good condition, and not something that has been left here for a long time. Looking around, the place also seems quite clean of dirt and dust outside the sacks. There's no sign of a cart, but it does indeed seem likely that there would be one inside the mine.

Helena makes her way back outside and looks at the mine for a second before sighing and walking inside. *Mind tossing up us some light Jasmine? There wasn't anything to be used in the shack for it...*

A small but bright ball of reddish light appears near Jasmine's hand before floating towards the mine entrance, lighting the way.

*Thanks* Helena moves into the mine, looking for either workers, or against all the odds in the universe, a stack of silver... She could dream right? The red light casts the tunnels shadows in stark relief, but its better then nothing, and something about the red glow is comforting.
