As they arrive to their room, Jasmine pulls out the scroll with invisibility spell. "I'd love to, but I have a feeling that we'll need this spell more."

Helena nods before speaking something before Jasmine dove too far in. "I know a trick like that, not as long lasting, but it might not hurt for you to know both."

Sitting crosslegged on the bed, Helena dove in after her flame anyway, deciding to meditate for now and poke at her soul a bit, think about the woman she had only caught a fleeting glimpse of that had tugged at her mind a little since she had seen her...

As Helena slips into the trance, the red flame appears quickly, and it seems calmer than usual. There's also echoes of something else in her mind, and something reminds her of Willow again.

Helena stays calm, focusing on the echoes, trying to put the pieces together, why Willow... Last Helena had known she had been a floating soul in Hell that Helena had been working to save. She couldn't be here...

Catching herself on that thought, Helena realised that she couldn't be here herself, or Jasmine, but something had made it so. Clearing her thoughts again, she focused on putting the puzzle together. If nothing came to her, she would break trance and begin reaching outward with her mind, looking for that distinct mix of thoughts that had marked the woman she had known.

As Helena reaches out with her mind, she can feel faint echoes of the mind almost but not quite the one she's looking for. Gingerly, something seems to reach back at Helena, but it is as if there's a wall between them, and suddenly the presence is gone.

Helena comes out of the trance shaking. She was certain that for a moment... but... Fuck. Getting up, Helena walked over to the speaking tube. "I would like a bottle of wine sent up as soon as possible."

Sitting back down, Helena waited for blessed alcohol while she tried to figure out a situation almost more confusing then the one she had brought upon herself. After the Wine showed up, Helena didn't even bother with a glass, taking a hard pull and thinking, letting the alcohol calm her nerves while she waited for Cindy to return, Jasmine to finish her training, or something else to pull her away from her musings.

A servant brings a bottle for Helena almost immediately, arriving with a knock at the door as usual and disappearing as quickly as he arrived. Perhaps ten minutes after Helena has taken the first swig, Cindy comes back carrying a small bundle. "I got a set of lockpicks and other tools, just in case."

Helena thanks whoever brought the wine and lets the heat from the alcohol steady her a little. As Cindy walks in a bit later, Helena is probably a glass and a half in judging from what's still in the bottle.

"Excellent Cindy, those may come in handy. You didn't happen to see a Redhead that looked like this did you?" She asked as she sent a mental image of Willow over to her, wondering if she had seen anything. As she waited for an answer, she took two of the marbles out of their pouch and began spinning them in her hand distractedly.

Cindy frowns for a moment, thinking. "I think I saw someone eating in the common room. But she was younger and... not exactly like her."

Helena starts at the mention, nodding and standing, putting the wine away and immediately heading for the common room. She had to see this look alike for herself, all the while, her mind scanning for that hint before, focusing in on it like a beacon.

There's perhaps a dozen people visible in the common room, though some tables have curtains drawn around them to ensure privacy. None of them is a young, red-haired woman, however.

Helena closes her eyes and makes one last attempt to find the woman, searching again for that mind that had been so eerily similar, thinking perhaps she was in one of the curtained off sections...

If this last attempt proved fruitless, then there was a bottle of wine back in the room with her name on it and she could most likely put the thoughts and fears of Willow to rest.

Concentrating, Helena can feel just a hint of the presence, but it's hard to tell where it's coming from, though it couldn't be very far. There's also a hint of some strong emotion in the presence... fear.

Helena reaches out again, gently, carefully, clamping down hard on her emotions like a vice, refusing to let them get the better of her. She was so close she could practically taste it. Moving around the tables with the curtains, Helena played a good old fashioned game of warm or cold, trying to find her, it couldn't be her.

Helena gets a dirty look from the innkeeper, but her search turns out nothing in the room as the presence waxes and waves in the midst of random emotions Helena is sensing.

Wondering what the hell was going on, Helena moved towards the last place that had hinted of the girl, wherever that was, be it down a hallway or a nearby room. Helena wouldn't give this up.

As Helena gets into the second floor, she can definitely sense something, but it's too close for her to sense where it's coming from.

As Helena realises she's actually too close to pinpoint, she stops and changes tactics, looking instead for that undercurrent of fear that had come across earlier, trying to find that rather then a whole mind, hoping to have more success.

There's a strong sense of fear coming from someone in a corner room. As Helena gets closer to the door, she can smell the scent of fresh herbs coming through it.

Helena stops at the door and knocks, calling inside. "Please just talk to me, I mean absolutely no harm, I swear it!"
