The stars aren't right!(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

The slime doesn't seem more intelligent than, say, a dog. It doesn't have much useful information either, as it seems to only remember that it saw a weird creature after being turned to a slime and it was fed regularly.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena continues to ask it questions about the strange creature, hoping she'll get an image across the mental link as she waited for Strike, hoping it wouldn't take her too long to find Helena. After about half an hour Helena realizes that its probably going to take a great deal longer for Strike to get here then it did herself and Jasmine and prompts the slime to lead her deeper. her curiousity getting the better of her patience

The image Helena gets is fuzzy, but it shows a clearly humanoid creature bigger than a human. As Helena goes deeper she finds the room the bear-slime was in, with a sturdy door that kept it in until the alarm was triggered. There are several other rooms, some with strange equipment, but the complex seems abandoned other than a few robots taking care of it.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena takes some time to look at everything, excited by the prospect of the mental image she got. Although everything seems to be abandoned the Slime told her it was regularly fed, which may be the robots. But even robots need maintenance. Heading deeper Helena stays more on her toes then usual, making sure she was alone before pouring over everything like she actually wanted to.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena finds a computer terminal, but it is in a completely strange language and she can't decipher it's workings. The robots seem to be operating autonomously and there are no signs of someone being present to take care of them, although obviously someone could be visiting the place occasionally.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena can't crack the computer given the strange language but she suddenly remembers she has a camera. Taking snapshots of everything from the walls to the odd language on the computer, Helena is kept busy for almost an hour taking pictures before she moves on a little farther, camera at the ready.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Other than some dozens of rooms which might have served as personal quarters, there seems to be no more to the dungeon.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Finding nothing else all that interesting and seeming to have exhausted possibilities for exploration Helena realizes she isn't going to get much farther without the rest of the group. Taking one of the more secluded rooms that must have served as a personal quarter of some kind, Helena ushers the slime inside and waits for Strike, sending her detailed directions.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

It takes another hour for Strike to arrive, and she is exhausted when she finally enters the chamber. The slime seems curious about the spider, but Strike flails at it and it keeps away.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Pulling Strike over to her in a hug she prods at her mind and asks how she can make it up to her, grateful for the company.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Strike simply seems glad to see her again when she hugs Helena back before curling up next to the slime.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena giggles and tries to find something to do. now that the dungeon seems to be fully explored Helena heads back to the computer, trying to figure something out. who knows, maybe she would get lucky...

The computer seems mostly filled with reports or something other that's full of text. There are some more interesting looking things, but apparently they ask for password or something similar.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena resigns herself to not getting any further on her own. {How long would it take the party to get here?} she asks Jasmine

*The guides aren't really in any shape to walk. We'll come there tomorrow.*

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

{Alright, Ill just take it easy here then.} Helena proceeds to spend the rest of her night looking at things and generally just puttering about, wasting time as it was meant to be wasted, only stopping if anything interrupted her. If everything was uneventful she'd go to bed and wait for the party tommorow.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

As Helena starts drifting off to sleep, another pop-up appears: "Warning: You have been playing for over three hours, which is our recommended maximum. Save and quit? Y/N

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena decides shes probably pushed her luck far enough this time, her mind drifting a little. Thinking back on a few decisions she realises several of them were just kind of far out and she should probably take a break before she molested her familiar again. Selecting Yes, Helena waits patiently for the pod to disengage and let her out.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

As Helena drifts into the blackness and wakes up in the pod, this time she finds no-one waiting for her. The clock on the wall shows almost four pm and it's likely that this place wouldn't stay open much beyond normal office hours.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena steps out of the Pod and stretches. Realising no one is here Helena makes her way to the nurses office looking for someone. Hopefully someone was still here.
