Damnit Helena muttered to herself angrily when she made the mistake in her flight, something that rarely ever happened. Righting herself, Helena resumed her attempt to stop the captain, but this time she was muttering a spell quickly, looking to put the man to sleep. She didn't need his ability to rally the remaining sailors interfering.

The spell catches the captain mid-stride and he tumbles down, snoring as he hits the ground.

Helena grins as the captain does his best "play dead". dropping like a stone, Helena, cackled again, just for show as the other men all fled, Helena on his corpse immediately like a vulture, ripping his clothing apart and taking everything and anything she could find, keys, notes, coin, weapons, anything of interest was stripped from him before she was back into the air and off towards their ship, and it was THEIR ship, and THEIR rubber. And anyone who thought otherwise was going to eat a fireball or have their soul sucked out.

Other than a heavy bag of coins and a pair of silver rings, the captain doesn't seem to have any valuables on him.

Helena took the rings, and the coin, before heading towards the ship, she'd leave the fool alive today, and he could count his lucky stars that she was in a forgiving mood, or rather, in a good mood. Helena was Never in a Forgiving mood.

And that's that. The captain is sleeping like a log in the middle of the wilderness, his men are all fleeing like rats, and from what I can tell, you are... subverting the ship in your own way.

Helena can feel Jasmine's amusement through the bond. *Nothing ever goes this smoothly. Something bad will happen soon.* As Helena gets to the ship, she finds the deck empty, though there are sounds of pleasure coming from below.

Absolutely, we just have to make sure our new rubber is safe and secretly on it's way to our friends before that. Besides, you and me can handle anything, and Cindy and Willow are smart enough to either help or run. And more to their credit, smart enough to know which. Helena replied, staying on the deck and keeping an eye on everything.

Helena quickly notices that if no-one is on the deck, no-one is holding the wheel, either. The boat starts to turn.

Helena launches herself towards the wheel, working at getting the ship gently back on course and straight by process of elimination, of one direction turned it in the wrong direction, then it was back the other way! MUST NOT CRASH BOAT!

Helena manages to get the wheel in time to stop the boat from hitting the shore and with a bit of panicking manages to get it on the right course, or at least, the course it was on before veering away. Knowing Jasmine, she might have a long afternoon alone on the deck.

It didn't matter, eyes on the prize, everyone could have fun belowdeck for as long as needed, and Helena would do her best to keep from crashing the boat. She only had to stay on course, and not run aground. And if the captain was using this river, then that was unlikely as long as she kept her eyes open. Still, she hoped it didn't take too long, she knew how to steer the thing, and Nothing else

After half an hour of looking good, Helena spots another boat coming from upriver. It would pass her soon, unless she manages to crash into it.

Helena sent to jasmine, flailing around in place as she wondered what to do, trying to steer passed the other boat carefully and hoping SOMEONE would get up here to help before she killed everyone

Helena veers slightly in the other direction, she had to get passed the boat. In her panic she didn't even think about her appearance, not that her pride would allow her to really care. If other people wanted to freak out about a demon sailing a boat, well then... It just made her more legendary. And information that spread about her was bringing interesting results

Just as the boats are about to pass each other, a half-naked and clearly aroused sailor stumbles to the deck to take the wheel from Helena. It looks like someone from the other boat is about to hail them, but he quickly changes his mind upon seeing Helena, stopping to stare at her.

Helena waves cheerfully at the other man passing her, pointing to his ship. Please keep your eyes on the ship! Just a spell that went wrong. You'd be amazed what can happen in the mists! she called cheerfully, waving as she ignored the stooge stumbling up behind her for now. She had to get passed the boat, and then somehow put this fool to work.

The boat passes without an incident - barely - and the sailor seems to get himself at least somewhat together as he takes the wheel from Helena. "Gotta have a spotter. I don't know this part very well."

Tell me what I'm looking out for, and we'll handle it together. Do a good job and I will fuck your brains out. Helena answers, immediately moving to the front of the ship and looking for ANYTHING that could POSSIBLY fuck up this boat. ANYTHING!!!
