The stars aren't right!(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

At first sight the room looks mostly clean, but Helena doesn't have much time to observe before Strike glomps her, absolutely refusing to let go.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena cries out and clings right back, holding on for dear life and breaks down into a flood of tears. Everything had gone to shit, again. Jasmine seemed too distant, and Ginny, Ginny had always been distant in one way or another. Strike didn't make assumptions or judgements, just loved her for who she was, even broken and confused Strike was still happy to see her and that was too much for the front the succubus had been putting up.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

The spider doesn't seem to care about her tears, only holding her as if afraid that she might leave again. Red appears from behind Strike and gently wipes Helena's tears away before hugging her as well.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena looks at Red and calms down after a moment, hugging them both. "I missed you guys, how have things been?"

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

"We haven't really done very much. Strike has been sulking since you left, only going out to hunt. I've been exploring the city, mostly. It's been pretty boring with you three gone."

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

"You two, left alone, bored. I find that hard to believe. And trust me, you want no part of that fucked up place. I'm back, Jasmine and Ginny may be awhile but i'm back." Helena said giving them both a good squeeze before stepping back.

Helena sat on the edge of the bed and put her head in her hands, regretting ever signing on for this research, they should have just left it alone. People were dead, people Helena had cared about were dead and both of them were her fault, one by her own hand. She found herself longing for space again, wanting to leave this miserable blue ball and all of its problems and pitfalls behind. But she had signed on for the research, and taken every step necessary up to this point to see it through. It was her responsibility to see it to the end once she got her head screwed back on straight.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Strike stays near Helena, keeping a watchful eye on her. Red starts making pancakes in the small kitchen the suite has, and she seems surprisingly competent at it.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

"So you guys have been exploring? What have you gone to see?" Helena asked curiously, eager to take her mind off of recent events.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

"I've mostly been going to art galleries. They're so strange! How do you humans come up with things like that? There was also a concert I managed to sneak in with Strike. It was really weird the way all those people just sat there and listened." Red finishes the first pancake and as if on cue, Strike walks over for Red to put the plate on her head and Strike carries it to Helena along with a jar of jam.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena blinks, completely caught off guard by the goofy behaviour, and bursts into laughter, taking the offered plate and jam and kissing the spider on the head. "I see you two have been practising.' She said between giggles, eating happily.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Strike waits patiently for Helena to finish eating the first pancake before taking the plate and fetching another one. Meanwhile Red has finished several more and Helena can see her smiling widely as she continues, flipping the pancakes rather artfully in the air.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena claps and approves the spectacle. "God I missed you guys" She said, eating another pancake and wondering how to spend the day.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

It doesn't take long for Red to finish rest of the pancakes, and Strike would keep bringing more as long as Helena doesn't stop her, while Red eats the rest and washes the frying pan.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

"DEeeelicious Red, Thank you" Helena said, burping and falling backwards on the bed, looking up at the ceiling. "Well, we have a whole city to go over, and all the time in the world to do it barring disaster. Anything you wanted to see Red?"

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Strike curls up next to and on Helena as soon as she lies down. "Well...at some of the galleries I heard people talking about theater. What's that about?"

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena laughed, "If you thought the Galleries were fun, then you are going to love theatre. Its art in motion Red. What kind of stories do you like? Comedy or Tragedy."

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Red quickly puts the dishes into washing machine before oozing over. "Stories? I don't know much about stories. What do those mean?"

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena facepalms and looks over at Red. "Okay... I'll just pick something then..." Helena says, calling down to the hotel lobby and asking what shows were playing. If they got lucky a Shakespeare comedy would be playing.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

There are, of course, dozens of plays going on all over the city. Of Shakespeare's works, All's Well That Ends Well and several others are being shown.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena has seats reserved for "All's Well that Ends Well" for herself and Red, not really counting on a giant Spider enjoying Shakespeare without getting into trouble... "Well Red, Tonight I introduce you to Theater!" She says with a smile
