The stars aren't right!(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

A bunch of grapple/escape rolls. The only one that succeeds is the aid another one.
Round two: Helena uses Fly
Helena: 15/33 HP, 23/24 mana Goblyn 1: -6/?? Goblyn 2: full
Struggling, Helena manages to slip away when the monsters try to pin her to the ground and take to the air, withdrawing to a safer distance. The monsters look for stones to throw her with.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena taking to the air, bleeding, and infuriated, didn't let her collar calm her back down. They'd interrupted her fun, hurt her, tried SOMETHING. She was enraged and now it showed properly. She'd had ENOUGH of holding herself back. Had ENOUGH of not eating properly, had ENOUGH of this fucking world and everything in it. She was going to do as she pleased the only exception being if the lives of her friends were involved. Azalin had the one leash on her she couldn't currently ignore. And now more then ever she was certain if she gave it enough time? That too would fade.

Taking higher to the air, she blazed with fire and opened her hand, the sapphire flames congealing there into something thick, sick, and undoubtedly twisted, and she loved it. This would take time for now but she didn't care. She pressed down on those two souls she'd taken like a vice. Squeezing, Wringing, Pressing EVERY OUNCE of energy they had to give. She remembered the feeling of digesting, how she'd managed to speed it up for more energy. And now she crushed them, she hammered down on them with all the force of her will, her hatred and her fury.

WHO ARE YOU TO ATTACK ME! WHO ARE YOU TO DARE ATTEMPT TO INTERFERE WITH ME!!! INSECTS! MAGGOTS TO CRUSH UNDER MY HEEL! THAT'S ALL YOU ARE AND I WILL HAVE BLOOD AND BONE IN ANSWER! she screamed, eyes wild, body tensed, straining her mind and her body in both an act of rage and desperation to destroy. Never had this taste been so heavy in her mouth, like a sweet balm to held back emotions and checked behavior. She didn't savor the taste of the souls she'd taken, just smashed them into the fire in her palm and once she knew she was empty, once she was certain she had crushed all she could and all she had available into her fire, did she unleash it, letting it fly at the pair of creatures.

Two 8d6 supernatural fireballs, goblyns both failed the first save and the second doesn't even matter, they're dead
Helena: 11/29 HP, 7/24 mana, 2 points of con damage

The souls still feel fresh to her as she reaches out for them and PULLS. The energy makes her hair stand out, and two brilliant balls of fire appear in her hands. Helena can feel her arms burning with the energy of the souls as the fireballs launch, exploding with brilliant blue flames. When the flames are gone, there are only two burning corpses and scorched ground left where the monsters stood. Helena's arms and hands are covered in a net of burns forming strange patterns.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena is drained from the effort, but thrilled with the result, dropping tiredly to the ground with nothing but complete satisfaction on her face. She felt physically weaker for the effort but to have been able to sate her anger like that and in such a spectacular fashion made it all worth it to her as she rested against the back of the tree while she studied her hands, trying to read, or failing that, memorize the symbols that had been burned there.

And then she rested her body, waiting patiently and alertly for Charlie while she healed her wounds, though she took care not to heal her hands. She wanted to study those markings, shifting them into scars on her hands if they faded. They were something else to study.

Better then sex... was all she had to say on the matter, an honest to gods smile on her face.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena: 29/29 HP, 5/24 mana, 2 points of con damage
The other wounds on her body heal easily with her spells, but the magic has no effect on the strange burn marks. Studying the burns reveals no discernible words that Helena can make out, but looking at them too long makes her feel uneasy. As the day passes, so does the storm, and by the time Charlie digs his way out of the underground den, the skies are clear.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena is GLAD the burns don't heal. She was proud of them, she took Pride in those marks. It felt like she'd come through puberty in a sense. Reached for the real power in her physiology and used it. And it felt amazing. When Charlie dug himself up, she had her stuff rebundled, she'd left the two corpses right where they were and showed off the markings to him with a smile on her face. We had a spot of bother and I learned something new. Just as a warning, I need to feed properly now that we're out of Azalin's territory, I might lose myself in it, and I'd appreciate if you could babysit me when it happens. I'll return the favor during the day but first let me apologize for making you sleep underground like that. she said.

She didn't have all that much to offer him physically, he simply wasn't interested in sex, and knowing what she was, wouldn't risk it even if he was. Instead she brushed her hair back. I'm sorry charlie. I'll be more considerate of your needs from now on. she said, offering her hand Unless there was something else you wanted, no harm in asking. she said, before continuing on their journey once that was seen to.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Stretching and brushing himself clear, Charlie patiently listens to Helena. "Alright. Apology accepted." Shaking the offered hand, Charlie readies himself for the journey and takes the form of a giant bat again.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Good. and with that they were off once more, Helena once more right behind him and above, keeping an eye out for the less agile flier. And she was Hungry... Again it would be quick, dirty, brutal. It had used to be about pleasure, but now it was about power and feeding that emptiness that had grown inside her. She'd take pleasure later, she needed a proper meal and when they stopped... she would feast.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Charlie's route takes the pair into the mountains that couldn't be seen yesterday because of the storm. Passing over a glacier they fly into a secluded alley and when they land, Helena sees great many goats sleeping in and presumably around it. After some searching, Charlie finds a trio of tents belonging to the herders. "This'll do. No-one will miss a few goatherds." he says in hushed tones, as if expecting someone to be still awake.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

You want one? Cos I got interrupted mid personal time and I'm gonna have fun with it. she asked Charlie, handing Charlie the straight jacket and holding out her arms. Properly tight if you don't mind. she said, waiting to enjoy the jacket as well as somewhere between 2 and possibly 3 cocks and the big finish.

Once that was done, she'd slip into one of the tents and kiss whoever was in it, moaning hungrily into their lips and skipping the charm, flooding them with lust. I need it... Get your friends to... I want it all. she panted softly, licking her lips and moaning again, tugging playfully at the jacket. Pleeeease, I'm begging... Take me, all of you. she panted, squirming.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Charlie rolls his eyes, but puts the straitjacket on Helena anyway and heads to one of the other tents as Helena stumbles into the tent of her choice. The first thing she notices is the smell. It's a wonder the goats can tolerate it. "Hu-what?" the goatherd in his sleeping bag says, jolting to wakefulness and fumbling around blindly while his partner still sleeps. There doesn't seem to be any light sources in the tent that Helena can see.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Come onnn I need you. She moaned, shutting her sense of smell Off. Shapeshifting. It could be abused. Inside of nose smooth. no more smell receptors. Done. She continued to grind and kiss him, making sure he only had one thing on his mind before doing the same to his sleeping partner, though this one she charmed and Insisted he get to Fucking her.

Otherwise she was going to get impatient.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

The first goatherd starts masturbating while the second one is charmed, but doesn't wake up.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena just... she would facepalm, but she can't. Sucking the soul out of the sleeping man, she turned and did the same to the masturbating one, swearing off men forever as useless. Once it was done, she'd stomp back outside, and shift her way out of the jacket, sulking.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

When Helena gets out of the tent, she sees that Charlie is getting out of his as well, and he walks up to her. "What do you want to do with the last one?"

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Not gonna bother leaving a loose end. Helena says, swooping in and snapping up that soul as well. That made 3. 3 was a good number. And she hadn't lost her mind yet. Progress. Once it was done, she looked around before sliding back into the air. Look for a decent place to shack up for the day? Maybe some coffee.. love coffee... need coffee.... she said, before muttering to herself about the fucking coffee.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

MADNESS CHECK TIME! Since they're middle-aged goatherders, the DC is 15+1/2HD+wisdom bonus, or a total of 16.
d20+6=10 moderate failure I'm just going to ignore the other two rolls, because they can't really make things much worse
ability damage: 3d8=6, 2, 5. 6 points of intelligence damage, 2 points of wisdom damage, 5 points of charisma damage
Type: 1d4=4 Paranoia. Helena is now paranoid until all the ability damage caused by the failed madness check has been healed.

Helena: 24/24 mana, 2 points of con damage 6 points of intelligence damage*, 2 points of wisdom damage*, 5 points of charisma damage* suffering from paranoia

As Helena deals with the last goatherd, Charlie is content to wait outside, no doubt plotting something. He doesn't immediately move follow Helena, instead rifling through the belongings of the goatherds.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Waiting for Charlie, Helena's eye twitched visibly and she looked around, repeatedly. Something wasn't right and she didn't like it, staying up in the air. What?! What is it. she asked, before rising even higher in the air out of reach, he couldn't fight her in the air.

This was all a trap wasn't it! TAKE ME OUT TO THE MOUNTAINS! KILL ME! HUH!? THAT'S ALL IT WAS! she started shouting, before trying to avoid freaking the fuck out.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

"Found some coffee!" Charlie calls out to Helena. "Helena? Are you all right?"

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Coming back down, she still wouldn't land, circling slowly. She wanted the coffee... But he was still planning something, he had to be. When wasn't he, this stupid fucking vampire had tracked her how far?! How long had he been plotting to take her down. And that bitch back in hell to! SHE WAS GOING TO RIP HER SPINE OUT OF HER ASSHOLE! AND ANYONE ELSE IN THAT WORTHLESS FUCKING PIT. Jokes on you, I can't be poisoned. Nice try she hissed. Per usual, being sure something was wrong only made her angry, fear had stopped becoming a normal emotion for her, it secondaried straight to anger.

Her collar lit up brightly and her emotions checked themselves Hard and she found herself looking at Charlie, and the coffee. No. I'm not fine, Draining souls affects my mind. Badly this time it seems. We need to leave the area and find somewhere completely barren or I'm not gonna calm down. Don't touch me. Even by accident. she said, trying to keep her voice level. Cave, Building, anything. But not here. she continued, clutching her own arms and looking around.
