The stars aren't right!(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

The forest starts not far from the borders of the town, and soon Helena finds herself wandering among the evergreen trees. The forest is quite pleasant in daylight this close to the town, though it would surely grow thicker and darker further from the settlement. She doesn't get that far, however, before noticing a conspicuous looking man wearing a tattered uniform muttering to himself as he marches forward towards the border, unless Helena is mistaken.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena is running, trying to get her blood moving, trying to keep the high she enjoyed from her recent fling. She ran a hand over her front as she did, scowling as she remembered the ghostly thing implanted inside her. She'd probably just given it a feeding or something. She started to move faster, leaping between trees, gouging marks in the bark that hissed and spit with acid that dripped from claws, before she spotted the figure, removing her clothing, she shifted fully, letting the real her out and suffering from an open bloodlust

Keeping low to the ground, she set herself up to float as she launched herself at him from behind, trying to stay unnoticed, before raking those claws along the uniform in a hard slap, wanting to finish a good 10 feet in front of him.

Not the least bit sorry to tell you... I'm having a bit of an existential crisis. Mind if I kill you? she asked, tilting her head as she curled her wings inwards and stretched, wondering what she'd found.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena: 5+5=miss
Helena: HP 39/39 Mana: 30/30
Sivak: ??
Helena's claws miss the man by a hair, only managing to tear the already tattered clothing. Blinking in surprise, he draws his blade hefting the heavy piece in both hands and taking a defensive stance. "What the hell are you?"

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena stretched and curled, her hair bleeding into a violent pink while she actually let her horns grow out, sighing as she always did. Question for a Question. I'm a Succubus, What are you? I've had a couple very bad days, I've had a bad week would be better and I'm tired, so tired, of flitting about, doing as I'm told or cautioned. I need help shedding the last remnants of my humanity. You can help me Be sooo bad. Either by being a target for all my frustrations, or another way, I'm open to suggestion. she said, musing aloud, turning and raising one leg slightly, arching up onto her toes to let a bone spur grow down from her heel, repeating the process while her tail lashed around slowly, curling over her flesh sensually while she picked at her claws.

I'm figuring out... when you can change your shape.... you be what you want... but when you don't know what that is.... Everything falls apart. she muttered, turning to look at him with glowing eyes to match her hair.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

As Helena changes shape, the man regards him with disdain, then changes too. His muscles bulge and his shoulders stretch wider as he grows to reach more than 8 feet in height Then his boots split as his feet grow claws and silvery scales cover him while his uniform mends itself, revealing an officer's markings as well as a symbol of five-headed dragon. Then his face turns into a muzzle which would resemble that of a large lizard if not for the small horns, tall forehead and eyes slitted like a cat's. Finally, two large, silvery wings burst from his back, each larger than Helena's body, and he inclines forward as a tail appears, completing the change. The creature now standing in front of Helena appears to be nothing less than a small dragon, though it still stands on two feet and wields a sword that is now as tall as Helena. "You think you've had a bad week? I was only supposed to be scouting when fog appeared and I ended up here. And now I'll have to kill another human to steal its shape."

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

You need to kill to find a form? Wouldn't be enough for me to simply? Choose one I've never used and let you take my original blonde one? I shift freely, it's easy for me. But wow you are impressive. If we're comparing weeks though, I've had a phantom forcibly implant something into my body, been raped, which is amazingly difficult to pull of for me, and I have a mission to look forward to, that borders on insanity, as well as managing to actually go insane temporarily. The only place I want to be, is underground in a little village several days away with some dark skinned friends and their dark appetites for fun. As for the Fog, the Mist, it takes you where it wants, dumps you where it feels. How do you think I got here. she said, looking the dragonlike man up and down, before trying to shift to match him, coloring her scales a deep red if she could, seeing how close she could get to his body.

My name is Helena. she said, reverting back to her demonic form after seeing if she could match his, and fiddling with the color of her hair, not pleased with it until it was a light blue, and short cropped, bangs hanging just passed her eyes and framing her horns.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

"Doesn't work like that." the dragon-thing says, relaxing and letting the point of his sword fall to a less-threatening position, but not putting it away. Helena's shape seems to resist her will as she tries to match his form, only managing to approximate his shape as she becomes more like a lizardman with wings rather than true dragon, and tops at seven foot tall before shrinking back to her natural form. "My name is Kressak. What do you want, demon?"

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

I told you, I'm trying to escape what remains of my humanity. I came out looking for blood or a meal. And I found you. I'll settle for an actual Ally if you're willing to help me with my mission, which takes us Well out of the way. I can even bring you an easy victim to shift into, a fresh skin. But there's a price as always. You'll need to see the mission through, and I'll need an available lover to replenish my energies, and help me experiment with my own limits. Finding a human to bring to you is easily done. And once outside this realms boundaries well... we can do as we please... Help me find what it means, to view everything around me as prey. she said, looking the draconian in the eyes.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

The draconian snorts derisively. "Letting a demon use me to experiment with her powers doesn't sound so good to me. Assuming you won't just kill me the moment it becomes convenient." he replies, attempting to stare Helena down.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

When it suits huh? Such a shame too, at the very least I wanted a taste of you in that form. she purred, flicking something out from under the lip of her claw, probably some of his shitty uniform before trying to bend his will to hers, if only to let her start feeding on him properly, wanting to dominate him and then drain him dry. He looked more filling then a human, in more then one way.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena uses Dominate Person. Save: LOLNO
Sivak: 5-foot step, attack: 13+7=hit, 3d6+4=18 damage
Helena: HP 21/39 Mana: 30/30
Sivak: ??
Helena reaches out towards the silvery draconian with her mind... and the magic doesn't work. It was like trying to push a square peg into a round hole. The draconian laughs, takes a step forward, and swings his great sword with surprising speed, leaving a gash on Helena's leg.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena curses and leaps into the air, immediately taking to wing, and working to vanish into thin air. If he followed her immediately into the sky, she'd stay at the very limit of her range, and attack, hurling green bolts of corrosive ichor. If he stayed on the ground, she'd simply bombard him with attacks until he followed or retreated.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

As Helena takes to the air, the draconian follows just as quickly, although it flies clumsily compared to Helena, its wings build for speed and endurance rather than agility. She might be able to take advantage of that.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

It was the same situation she had faced with the wasp before hand, she would need to dance around him, dipping and turning hard in the air, making him turn constantly, keeping him from using the power in his wide wings while she threw bolt after bolt, not saying anything, or crying out, focused wholly on her task now.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena: Fly: pass. Attack: nat 20, 15 damage
Draconian: Fly: 19+4=pass Attack: 9+7=miss
Helena: HP 21/39 Mana: 30/30
Sivak: injured

With a sudden turn, Helena tries to shake the draconian, but he quickly turns his wings, sending him almost towards her, and though the bolt of acid seems to have hurt him, he takes a swing at Helena, missing narrowly.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

She needed to move faster, keep him chasing her. He had power in his wings, fast movements were not hard to make, Quick ones were because he had to turn more wing against the air then she did. Her choice of element had likewise been good but he looked a lot like a fucking dragon and she kept her eyes open for a breath of flames or the like, ready to backpedal and twist if she saw that muzzle open.

For now it remained a similar game, but she was changing her altitude as well, refusing to simply stay level, ensuring the plane they fought in was 3 dimensional as she leveled more acid, watching for that wing drop he had used to turn quickly, and hoping to pepper the wing itself and cripple his ability to keep up.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena: Fly: success Attack: 14+9=hit, 9 damage
Sivak: Fly: 15+4=fail
Helena: HP 21/39 Mana: 30/30
Sivak: injured
Helena quickly gains height, and though the sivak tries to follow, it can't ascend as quickly and instead continues straight, getting out of Helena's range but also overtaking her in altitude.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Helena starts chanting, taking her time, if she was hasty, he'd kill her, the gash on her leg said that rather clearly. She planned on bringing him to the brink, unable to fight her, and then she was going to suck him dry.

For now that meant rendering herself untrackable, and without interference she would vanish from sight, before using that time to get into range below and behind him, waiting for the moment while she silently counted her time, hurling a bolt of acid at his wings, having to stop in the air to aim, but counting on her invisibility to carry her through. If the spell ended before she got her chance, she'd keep him at range and outfly him, looking to ground him through sheer damage rather then clipping his wings.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

As Helena casts her spell, the draconian...Just takes a look over his shoulder and keeps going, those great wings beating the air and rapidly accelerating him to the point where Helena almost certainly couldn't catch up until he slowed down.

Re: Are the stars right?(Helena/Courage Wolf)

Ooo you mother fucker! she hissed, flying after him at the top speed she could muster, staying above him, and using her longer lasting spell, hoping he'd think himself safe before too long and she could take her shot. He'd slashed her leg, she was mad as hell. Prideful that he was the one retreating but that didn't help her appetite.
