Arinas Status: HP = 43, P = 31, EP = 38, Grappled

(Yeah, tank vs piddly enemies isn't much of a fight is it?)

To-hit: 11 + 42 + 3 = 56 vs 15 = hit.
Damage: 11 + 10 - 3 = 18 damage.

Her slash strikes the demon across the abdomen, drawing a deep gash on its ribs. The creatures decide to try a new tactic, and try to bull rush her over, using their combined mass to try and knock the warrior over.

To-hit: 1 + 18 + 26 + 13 = 58 vs 28 == Hit.

The two demons force Arina onto her back, following her to the ground and holding the warrior down.

(just noticed.... are you missing the heavy hitter talent or dose hitting the hut or whatever she's hitting cancel it out? Same for lucky?)

She smiles as she feels her weapon land hard on what felt like bones. She hadn't thought the little demons might have been some what smart as they knocked her to the ground. She had lost her grip on her weapon as she hit the ground hard. As the two dropped on top of her, she tried anything to get free even trying to slam one of her hand in the wound of the demon she hurt.

:)Shifty eyes: Errr........ Lucky doesn't affect damage, so I didn't miss that. Heavy Hitter's another story. My bad. She only hit the hut once, and that was just a fluff way of saying you didn't one hit wonder your target like most greatswords are supposed to.)

Grapple: 18 + 30 + 3 = 51 vs 19 + 26 = 45 == Arina wins.
Damage: 2 + 8 + 4 = 14 damage.

Her fist hammers into the injured demon, who is thrown off of her, and rolls away. It clutches its wound in pain, apparently out of the fight for the moment.

Grapple: 16 + 26 - 8 = 34 vs 17 + 30 + 3 = 50 == Arina wins.

The creatures tries to tug her armor off, though with her struggles and the armors strength it doesn't get anywhere.

Arinas lets out a sigh of relief as she gets one of the demons off her. but it is quickly followed with a small yelp as she feels the other trying to tug and pull her armor off.

Angered at the demon, she tries to grab at its' neck. She planed on chocking the life off of the little thing.

Grapple: 16 + 30 + 3 = 49 vs 6 + 26 = 32 == Arina wins.

Arina grabs the goblin about the throat and pushes off the ground, forcing the goblin onto its back. Her hands clench around the demons neck and she could easily choke the little monster into unconsciousness or death.

With the goblin on the ground now, Arina tightens her grip around it's throat. She now pushes all her weight down as she tries to choke the little beast to death or unconsciousness. Whichever came first.

Grapple: 11 + 30 + 3 = 44 vs 19 + 26 = 45 == Enemy wins.

The goblin manages to work one of its hands between her fingers and its throat, allowing it to take in a gasp of breath. It still lives and struggles, but Arina could likely regian her advantage fairly easily.

Arina lifts her free arm and starts to slam a closed fist in to the little goblin trying to knock it out cold.

Her clenched and armored fist slams into the demons head, snapping its head back. Her blow seemingly stuns the little demon, as its struggles weaken considerably.

She lifts her fist again hoping the next blow would put the demon down... once and for all.

Damage: 2 + 8 = 10 damage.

Her second bow stuns it again, and she can see that the demon is now practically knocked senseless. She could easily finish it off now, or save it for later if she chose.

Seeing as the demon had no clue where it was, she lets go it and grabs her Nodachi and readies to run the blade through it black heart.

Arina has little trouble impaling the creature, as it lays limp once she releases it. It sputters for a moment, coughing up blood, but then lies still upon the ground.

(Gain 2 exp.)

Some of the blood it coughed up hit Arina unprotected face. She give it little worry for now as she turns to where the other wounded goblin should have been. Pulling her weapon free she starts a slow walk to the wounded one.

"Did you think you would get away...? She asked the goblin as she stoped in front of the demon towering other it's small form.

The short demon barks something she can't understand at her, and then starts to laugh, apparently having gone mad.

Arinas plants an armored boot on the monster's chest and pushes it to the ground. She quickly raised her weapon above the beast like she had the last one and and brings it down but this time aiming for the demons throat.

(( You have no clue how badly I wanted to a pulp fiction joke.))

(Lol, you'd have gotten a bonus of some kind for it, though it owuld be a bit out of character.)

The creatures laugh is cut short by Arinas blade, and it let out a sickening gurgle as it gushed brownish blood from its torn throat. Arina gets an idea of why it had been laughing, however, as a loud bestial roar of challenge can be heard from not so far behind her, nearly deafening her.

As the creature's gurgling came to and end, Arinas pulls the Nodachi free from it's dead form. and starts to clean the blood of and any cloth she could find on it. As she clean the weapon she was totaled surprised by the roar so much she dropped her just to cover her ears to try blocking some of the sound out.

As it cut short she turned to see what had made the sound. Her heart started to beat faster from fear not knowing what had caught to monstrous roar.

She spots a massive dog, easily four feet tall at the shoulder. Or at least it has the shape of a dog, since it's covered from snout to claw in strange black armor that seems to move like liquid around the beast. It doesn't charge yet, however, apparently waiting for her to make the first move.

As her gaze met the beast, she started to try calming herself down. It hadn't started a charge or even moved closer as it's watched her. Arinas drops to a knee and grabs her weapon's hilt and swiftly turns swinging the weapon's long blade over her head as she starts a chant. As she hold the Nodachi with her right hand she places her left two feet up the blade.

I am the White Void. I am the just sword. I am the cold steel. As her chant came to an end she felt power start to flow there out her body.
