I'm unavailable weekdays between 9 and 5ish GMT, any time outside that should be good other than Tuesday evenings and this coming weekend.

If I do work, it's usually in the afternoon and I usually don't know about it until that morning; you guys should figure out when is a good time for you, and if I can't make it I'll (try to) let you know.

Also, how do I IRC? I have no freaking clue. If I click on the link in the shoutbox, put in a nickname (one that can be recognized as myself, instead of default "random string of things") and hit the "go" button, that'll take me to the appropriate channel?

Yes Alpaca, that's how you'd get there.

EDIT: Okay we have a truly global crew of Amberites gathered here so this is what I've worked out.

Saturday at 10am my time is going to be (I think) midnight GMT, 6pm EST, and 3pm PST.

Taki has said he can do 3pm on Friday his time. Farren can you do Friday night at midnight? GB, Alpaca and MBS can you guys do Friday afternoon/evening? (as I think you all hail from the Americas...)

Maybe, I've got part of my weekend engagement Friday evening/night. I'll see if I can get solid times, if I can flit back for this I will.

Going to have to be a maybe right now though. Sorry for being awkward.

Nah that's fine Farren. I'd rather a time that we could all be comfortable doing.

Hrmm, let's see... could you perhaps do it Thursday (tomorrow night at midnight?)

So that would be Thursday at 6pm for EST and Thursday 3pm for PST people in America.

I know that'll possibly be impossible for people at work, but some of you are uni types so maybe it could work?

If not then we'll probably need to wait until next week.

Bah, probably going out with friends tomorrow (well, later today (Thursday)) around noon (EST), plan on being gone until around 7 or 8, maybe later (but not much); that's assuming I don't work, of course. I'll be available Friday, though, as well as Saturday and later on Sunday. Come Monday, back to "if I don't work" again.

Okay team, we all have busy lives and the Earth's a big place. Let's do the following:

I'll ask for a subforum. Then I'll set up an auction thread and we'll start auctioning off the Attributes.

For the miscellaneous auctions, I'm going to ask everyone to pm me one bid and then a winner will be announced. A tie will result in a bid off.

With whatever points you've got left over, you can buy powers.

I highly, highly recommend at least basic Pattern Imprint (50 points).

If you don't want that though, I'd insist that you took Shapeshifting (35) + Logrus (45), OR take Trump Artistry (40).

The reasons for this is that you need a method of traveling through Shadow realms or you're just gonna be stuck in Amber the whole time and not doing much.

And yep still here... Though I'm now curious as to how two peoples characters will be interacting with each other if were all in a separate thread...

My threads will be by scenes.... If two characters end up meeting with one another, I'll make a new thread for both characters. The opening scene will be at Castle Amber, at the hour of the king's death. You'll all be able to talk or immediately confront one another if you wish. This is an elimination thing so it might be over quickly, but the rules allow for you to hide out in shadow and prepare and plot and have surprises for the other players.

Basically there will be an honor system rule - you can't read threads that you're not in.
