Taku looked down at Irid, curious she removed her boot, her stockings underneath, she took her feet off of Irid and held her foot up to Irid, who obeyed and licked, making Taku giggle as she put her boot back on afterwards "Your friend is very weakminded..." she said in a joking manner, standing and snapping her fingers, Irid snapped out of her trance, with a bemused look she looked around in confusion.

"Yeah...I know." remarked toki, continuing her search. she then beckoned for the party to assist in looking for clues.

They looked around the control room for a bit, they looked into every nook and cranny, checking if there were any patterns that potentially hinted at a hidden button of some kind, all of this was to no luck however..."Nothing here" Taku said, "Same..." Irid said as well.

she then went to the biological study where she had met the Lamia, looking about there as well...she seemed very lost, however...

There was no luck as they looked at nearly every room in the facility, eventually they ended up back in the lobby from before, Taku drummed her fingers on the table "Well...im out of ideas..." she said, thinking, Irid looked around as her eye twitched, the sun was setting outside, heralding the night time.

she seemed exhausted after their search, and began to get curious once more. she had but one idea left...the cell in which she had started...walking there, she began to search about the area for anything of note that she had missed, including the air vent with the strange buttons from before.

The air vent was just as she remembered it, although now that she thought about it, whenever she ran her hand across one if walls, she felt a bump that was out of place...

she discovered nothing in the vent, but instead a strange bump...which she then proceeded to investigate more closely...

"What is this...?" she asked to herself.

It had no texture, it felt metally and flat like the wall it belonged to, Taku called to her "You found somethin` Toki?" she asked.

Taku climbed into the vent too "Budge up" she said, she noticed the strange out of place bump too "Try pushing it" she said.

she nodded and pushed it in, attempting to push the strange spot.

The bump slid into place, and the air vents wall opened up, revealing another way foward, Taku smiled under her facemask "There we go" she said, she went foward first, crawling through the air vent, Toki followed close behind with Irid at the back.

she smiled and giggled as she opened a new path, crawling through carefully. she was unsure of what lay here, so she took it one step at a time...

Eventually they found a dead end, and a grate on the vents floor, Taku dropped through first, landing gracefully on the ground, Toki followed landing normally and...Irid came in a less than ceremonious way, landing ontop of Toki, Taku looked away and sighed, stifling a giggle, the room had a red carpet floor and seemed to be still under construction, the walls were wood but some pieces had metal plates on them and discarded building equipment lied around the place.

she came through the vent alright, but Irid landed on her, causing a bit of pain. However, she was too curious of her new surroundings to really care. She then began to investigate around a bit...

The room had a door leading out, once they stepped out they found themselves in a interesting locale, they were on a catwalk suspended above dozens of turning cogs and gears, all moving and probably powering the facility, Irid looked over in amazement, Taku placed her hands on Toki and suddenely shook her, making it seem like she was about to go over and into the gears "SAVED YOUR LIFE!" she said, laughing.

She was a little shaken at Taku's nasty prank, but giggled in the end as they walked on. she didn't like her sense of humor much, but she was too cute in the end to really go against.

They eventually came into a massive room, the floor, walls and ceiling were pure white marble that let them see their reflections, there was a single red carpet running along the ground up to a throne, who someone was sitting in "So.....the troublemakers finally show themselves, and not glued to a tripod, im impressed" they said, looking at Taku they could hear her growling "You brought them here Taku?", Taku sighed "Look, you can still-" she was interrupted by the floor and ground shaking, "Its already too late you idiot, no matter how many friends or pets you brought with you!" the wall behind the person started to split apart, the person was a woman, she was simply wearing a blood splattered labcoat, and nothing else, her hair was short and brown and her eyes were red "I Finally finished what you`ve been trying to PREVENT!" she shouted, almost laughing, Toki, Taku and Irid heard a inhuman screech coming from behind the splitting wall...

spinning her scythe about quickly, she felt empowered here, and prepared herself for combat. She had no words for this woman, and what she had done here, just a burning hatred...
