The jump to the adjacent rooftop went off without any problems whatsoever, Vilana's legs coiling under her before the leap to push her across the gap. Even luckier was that no one below had noticed. Surprisingly, the pup was only a couple seconds behind her, the ration hanging from its mouth as it wagged its tail before sailing across the gap itself in an extremely confusing and more then a little impressive manner, coming to rest in front of her before sitting and wagging it's tail some more, swallowing the food. The door the the roof access into the other building was annoyingly locked, however the fire escape was not only accessable, but clear as far as Vilana could tell, putting just enough distance between her and her pursuers.

Vilana blinked down at the puppy, then ignored it to look at the lock. Perhaps if it was in disrepair she could just kick the door down. She's rather reduce her exposure, especially in her current disrobed state, then to make it down quickly. After a few turns she gave the door a solid kick, hoping to loosen it up.

Vilana's kick only served to make her foot sore and ignoring the pup got it's attention enough to whine at her before padding over to the door and sniffing at one of the hinges. And then... Well, there was no other thing to call it apart from exactly what Vilana saw moment for moment. The pup seemed to belch something hot enough to turn the hinge a glowing red before nibbling on it happily. It was eating metal... Another good solid kick would probably unseat the door now however.

And true to the curious chain of events that had transpired, the door gave, twisting sideways on the hinged before falling in completely, the pup yelping and scrambling after her, a glowing hunk of steel in it's jaws as they moved into the staircase and thankfully out of sight just as the men from the other building had shown up to search the roof.

Vilana blinked at the tiny puppy, then watched in shock as he began to devour one of the hinges. She kneeled down and petted the pup with a mischievous grin. "Good boy." She whispered, then watched as the door caved in. She stood up, chasing after the puppy and down the stairwell, pausing occasionally to listen to anything that may be moving ahead of her.

The pup wiggled as Vilana finally gave it some pets and they scrambled into the building, able to move a little slower now that they were pretty sure pursuit wasn't coming. Listening ahead for possible disturbances, Vilana didn't hear much apart from the occasional shuffling movement and a low groan at the first landing. She could just keep going down, stop on this floor to look, or check any of the others floors on the way, but it was entirely up to her.

Vilana pulled out her pistol, her ace in the hole so to speak. She tried to peer over the railing of the stairs to look down, but also kept an eye out on each level for any easy pickings; doors open or possible bags that are laying out in the hallway. Other than that, she is headed for the first floor!

Vilana opened the door to the landing to take a peak and swore she had stepped straight into a bad horror film because what she saw was a dead man walking around, he had to be dead because a good portion of his chest was missing as he wandered aimlessly around the hallway. There was nothing for easy pickings either and most of the doors had been smashed in. So... She had demons and slimes and hellhounds and marauders and now the walking dead. This was not good. Still, luck was on her side yet again as it hadn't noticed her yet. As far as Vilana could tell, the stairs were clear all the way to the ground floor and there was what looked like a bag of canned food at the very bottom, the blood on the far wall probably telling what had happened to it's previous owner.

Vilana tried to steady herself from the horrific image. She decided to for go the zombie, and make the way down the rest of the stairs, grab the can of food, and head back to rest once more. Her trip was pretty eventful today, and it won't get any better running around in the buff.

The pup was as always right behind her, seeming pretty happy with the situation, and the bag of food was also an easy grab as she tore out of the landing, through the hallway, and out into the street, heading towards the safety of the store at a good clip. The looks she got were pretty amusing as she walked up to the guards, pack full of strange goods, bag full of food, and a puppy tearing ass behind her. Only staring a little, Rick was on door duty again and rubbed his forehead after pulling off his mask and handing his coat to Vilana. "Slime?" he asked in way of inquiry to her current unclothed status before ushering her inside. The guard was a lot heavier today, and they seemed to be keeping the marauders at bay with long range rifle fire that occasionally cracked out from the roof.

Vilana slowed down, breathing heavily as she noticed the heavily guarded building, and strolling upto Rick, she solemnly nodded. "Let's not talk about that." She said as she revealed her findings for the day with a broad grin. "Let's feed some people, hnn?" She inquired, gaining back some of her swagger as she rolled into the store.

Rick just shook his head and sought about getting Vilana clothing first, which turned out to be a uniform much like his own that surprisingly fit her rather well, and was both warm and comfortable, as well as the belt being a duty variety much like she had seen police wear. "Thought you would need these eventually" he said, waiting for her to get dressed before going over what she had found.

Whistling softly, he grinned and punched Vilana in the shoulder lightly. "Fucking well done" He said quietly, "I'm pretty sure we can get you something good for all this, and no one should have any trouble with you staying now, although the pup may be trouble..." He said just as the creature in question started to gnaw on the corner of an aluminum shelf, seeming quite pleased with itself. "Not sure what you did, but that Hellhound seems to like you quite a bit, just... don't let it eat all the metal here. They're a lot smarter then they look and should understand everything you say just fine. I've only known of one other person who had one trained, and he had a pup just like this one first." He said, grinning despite himself and leaving to get a length of iron piping before throwing it to the pup who happily started to gnaw on it like a milkbone. "The sooner you name him the better, he wont leave you willingly for any reason."

Vilana paused, having forgotten she was running through the streets bare! She used the bag to cover her front, then began to dress herself in the uniform. She looked around at her figure, then at her rather large boots, clashing with the uniform. "I thought I'd never see the day where I dressed like a cop." She said with a huff, then giggled at the playful punch in the arm, giving a nod in appreciation. Afterwards, she followed Ricks gaze to the puppy, to which she squatted down by and petted it. "He just kind of followed me, I'm not too sure why..." She pursed her lips to one side, furrowing her brows, having flash backs to the obscene event that happened earlier. She took a deeper breath, then gave a gasp.

"His name will be...Bubbles!" She giggled, then petted the puppy again. "Do you like Bubbles as a name?" She cooed teasingly.

The pup flopped over for a belly rub as Vilana petted him, wiggling his legs happily before she named him bubbles. He seemed to think for a moment before perking his ears and barking. And then he hopped up and ran off, promptly returning with a bottle of bubble bath for whatever reason, setting it down, and looking at her, nosing at the word bubbles on the bottle, and then.... He ate the damned bottle.

Looking like he didn't like the taste one little bit, soon enough, he belched and a stream of odd sulfur smelling bubbles tainted with lilacs came spilling out of his muzzle and into the air, to which he barked, rolled over again, and proceeded to act as dorky as his name suggested he was.

"Yup, you found a real winner" Rick said, stifling his laughter as he glanced between the pair. "Well, it's obviously not safe to be wandering about tonight, but me and the rest of the guard were wondering about what job you'd like to have here, if you had an actual assignment."

Vilana blinked, watching the puppy run off, then retrieve the bottle. "No, no, your name is- Oh..." She sighed, then petted and rubbed Bubbles anyway with a giggle. Avoiding the Sulfuric bubbles, she gazed up at Rick as she continued to pet Bubble's belly. "Well, I'd like to go on the offensive, or atleast recon. No one can stay in here forever. Maybe we could make moves to something more spacious?" She hmmms, starting to wander around in her own thoughts.

"I figured as much, you'll start training with the rest of us in the morning" Rick said grinning. "Also, we should probably do something about that 9mm you're carrying. Here, just toss this on the side of the slide, or Inside the magazine well, both will have different effects, but exactly what is always unclear" He said, tossing her one of the odd blue pieces she had seen earlier.

Vilana caught the blue item, blinking at it, before slapping it into the side of the slide. She examined it briefly, then nodded to Rick. She gets up, and stretches. "I've had a trying day, so I'll turn in now..." She says, before patting her thigh at Bubbles and retiring in her little cot.

Blue lines seemed to spider down the side of the slide, making the barrel of the weapon hum softly as it made her hand tingle. Gingerly taking the gun from her, he stopped her from going to bed just yet. "Follow me." Taking her outside, Rick pointed the weapon down the street, checked the magazine, aimed, and fired. Rather then a normal round, this time the discharge was fairly quiet, and the round struck the wall of one of the buildings with what looked like an electrical discharge. "Good, one of the more predictable outcomes. Anything you load into this, will fire like that, if we can find a suppressor for it, it will be almost completely silent as well. Should serve you well." He said nodding before returning her weapon. "Go and get some rest, you have training in the morning."

Vilana paused, then glared. She answered with a whiny voice "But I'm tired! Come on!" She complained, following Rick. She paused, watching him take aim with her weapon, then jumped from the display. She blinked again, then grinned mischievously. "Well now I guess we should find an ammo place or something." She nodded, then skipped off to bed with her new weapon.

Rick nodded and chuckled, watching her go to her rest with a smile. She was fitting in well already, he thought absently as he went about his own duties and preparing tomorrow for her. Training day... Training day was always fun...

Vilana, finding her own bed quickly and promptly passing out was bothered with dreams ranging from her encounter with the slime to horrifying flashes of what had happened to her home, of a sickly red star falling from the heavens to crash into the oceans and bring a kind of divine retribution down upon the heads of all man kind as the rivers ran with poison and tidal waves destroyed the coastal cities that humankind was so proud of. But that was only the beginning of things. From the ashes of the destroyed cities, came a wave of unholy creatures, warped men and women, demons, the undead, and creatures straight from the nightmares of people long passed. Slimes, Vampires, Hell Hounds, Souls that took residence within unassuming objects, and all of this was brought to bear against the armies of man... And the battle had been short...

Her next flashes were of nuclear fires raging across much of the planet only days after his had started, rendering a great many places simply unlivable, and still the dark army marched onwards until within a week, the last of man and the armies that sought the world on all sides fought themselves to a stand still. It had been brutal, and unforgiving. Now the world was poisoned, and the remnants of both forces sought not only to survive, but to destroy eachother... And the world wept, and the last survivors of a tragedy continued to fight on for their personal right to live upon a broken earth's surface....

And then blessedly, she was torn from her dreams by a hot tongue licking her face. Bubbles had slept on her chest, and must have been disturbed when Vilana had thrashed in her sleep, waking her with a lick and whine. Rick wasn't far behind the waking, poking his head around the corner. "Rise and Shine Vilana, today's training day~!" He sounded entirely too happy about that.

Vilana wrung her sheets and gnashed her teeth in the midst of her dreams, body twisting in her bed before finally awaking to Bubbles licking her face. She gave a glare at him, then looked sleepily to Rick. "ngh.." She responded flatly, trying to will her legs onto the floor. She slowly began getting dressed for the occasion, and began picking up steam as soon as her fingers brushed against the pistol. Her eyes widened a little, then redoubled her efforts to get ready for the training.
