Witch's Chess Out of Character Discussion

Re: Witch's Chess Out of Character Discussion

The Lady is a fickle mistress, and a cruel one at that... but she is not without compassion, fufufufufufufu...

Or is she? ;)

Re: Witch's Chess Out of Character Discussion

Oh, I'm sure she thinks it's compassion, at the very least ;)

Re: Witch's Chess Out of Character Discussion

Compassion for others as an excuse for her own selfish enjoyment... charming lady isn't she?
But those that pity others are only looking for pity themselves.
Does the witch have any friends?

Re: Witch's Chess Out of Character Discussion

Friends? Depends whether you count the legions of fanatics and servants as her friends or not...

Also, Zero? Give me some time to write up the NPC rescue...

Take some time to make amends to the dice god, or whatever. Since the only time you've rolled a 10 was when Mirella was heading for the lighthouse...

(Seriously, even with bonuses, there's no recovering for double 1/1 followed by a 3 (that's -8 for your information)...Yes, that includes if the tendrils rolls a 2...which they did.)

Re: Witch's Chess Out of Character Discussion

Someone close to her heart I guess?

Re: Witch's Chess Out of Character Discussion

The Lady, to me, doesn't seem like the person to have someone close to her heart. I don't think she had anyone she cares about deeply and is close to her heart. Then again I could be very wrong.

Re: Witch's Chess Out of Character Discussion

Past, present, future.
Thats the 3 words I like to share today.
Time is a cycle.
History is fuel for the present, present is the road to the future, and future is history in the making.
which is the most important?
and which holds the happiest moment in your life?
To the wise and calm, they will say all of them is important, but the trick is not the answer, is the reason behind the answer, can you answer the question that was never asked?

Re: Witch's Chess Out of Character Discussion

Well, after an hour of nobody having a response to that, I can think of only one thing to say...

Re: Witch's Chess Out of Character Discussion

It's what I do when I am bored.

*slicks haír sideways to get that Ace Ventura look, leans in close*

"Your balls are showing..."

Re: Witch's Chess Out of Character Discussion

...What?

Anyways, I wonder if this demon slayer that Saved Rain would ever consider taking her in as her apprentice. Rain does need to learn how to fight and Artemis might be a good teacher.

Re: Witch's Chess Out of Character Discussion

Hm... so is it too late to join or can I still make a char?

Re: Witch's Chess Out of Character Discussion

I am guessing Yes.

Re: Witch's Chess Out of Character Discussion

Yes, you can still make a character o.o, it does state that new entries will be allowed at any time in the game.

Re: Witch's Chess Out of Character Discussion

Mm, I would've joined earlier, but the char rules had me kinda confused for awhile -3-

Re: Witch's Chess Out of Character Discussion

Hahahaha, sorry. I've been told by a lot of people that the character rules are semi-confusing actually...should get around to revising them really.

Re: Witch's Chess Out of Character Discussion

The thing that had me for the longest time was how drawbacks cost a half point each, it really should be it's own bullet point in the list. Other than that, it wasn't so bad.

Re: Witch's Chess Out of Character Discussion

(It might also help if you make a lvl 1 example sheet instead of a lvl 20 >.>)

I'm a little confused as to how memory points work, because looking at the sheets, Zero appears to have... Charisma lvl 2, (5 x 2) QT Lvl 2 (2 x 2) and SP Lvl 2 (2 x 2) does that not equal 18? I thought we started with only 10? As well, how do drawbacks work?

Re: Witch's Chess Out of Character Discussion

Loli, you're mixing up stat points with memory points.

Memory skills and traits are 1 memory point each per level. Drawbacks are 0.5 points per level.

Stat points on the other hand, are gained from leveling and finishing certain missions/scenarios.

As for how drawbacks work, think of drawbacks more of "trade-offs". For example, a paranoid person will find social checks to be hard/virtually impossible, but they will also be resistant/immune to charm/seduction attempts. Read the memory skills topic for more information.
