Looting Run [Josie, Dixie, Selena]

"What the hell's wrong with you two!?!" Dixie shouts at the two women taking off at something other than a walk in the hot sun, "It's too hot to be running!" As Dixie shouted, she stood not far from the Inn's doors, torn between wanting to do as she said she would with Josie, and not wanting to even jog all the way to the police station in the exhausting heat.

At Dixie's words, Jo slows her steps down, looking back to her. She hoped Selena heard her too, the reason she took off was to try and keep between them, but she does feel closer to Dixie, so she listens to her and tries to keep close when Dixie seemed upset.

Selena slows down a little as she looks around with her rifle,

"Oh... right. Where are we going anyway~?"

Josie waited until they were all basically grouped back together before talking to Selena, standing slightly behind her, but still between the two of them.

"We're going to the police station. There's basement of equipment there apparently, but the door is locked."

Selena smiles as she looks at the two, walking around the two as she smiles,

"Sounds good~ I'll find out how you can repay me later~"

Dixie starts to walk, going ahead of the two that were standing around, "What's that supposed to mean?" she asked with a raised eyebrow, feeling a little put off by Selena's strange looks at her.

Jo tilts her head, obviously uncomfortable with being stared over, but doesn't step back.

"I understand. I mean a favor system is probably the best way to get things done around here. It's only fair that we owe you for helping us out. In all fairness though, you can probably hoard any of the guns we find before anyone else at the inn gets a crack at them."

While Dixie tried to keep her distance from Selena during the trip, getting an odd vibe from the blue haired devil, the three girls heard some kind of loud vibration from off in the distance, as if something large was stampeding through the city, some distance away... Actually sounding to be getting closer...

Dixie gasped at the sudden noise, "What the hell is that!?!" she shouted, stopping in place, frozen in fear from the highly threatening sounds.

The girls were standing in the middle of the street. Several cars were parked along the road, and they were standing in the middle of downtown, some food stores, antique shops, and bars all along the sides of them.

Selena runs to a nearby car and props her gun up as she stands behind the car, using the roof as something to stablize her shot while she takes her time waiting for whatever it is to show itself, ready to make an aimed shot at whichever part looks squishy,

"Finally~ some action!"

At the sound of the rampaging footsteps, Jo looked down at her fireaxe and almost immediately regretted the fact she was shit with a gun and that she didn't have one. Until these things (or worse yet, thing) got into sight there wasn't much she could do. Watching the small blue haired girl, she darted behind the same car, though less for cover and more just to cower in fear and hope she wouldn't be seen. Now that she thinks of it..

"Should we just sit here? Maybe there's enough time to take cover in a shop and hope it passes us."

"Up to you~ although, the shops themselves might bring more danger than whatever is heading towards us~"

Jo clutched her axe to her chest, trying to decide what would be best.

"Well, judging from the sound of whats coming this way, I'd honestly like to deal with whatever monster sounds like it can actually fit inside one of these buildings."

"Alright then~ But if we get stepped on, I'll get back at you in hell!"

Nervously, Dixie looks to and fro, from Josie, back to Selena, before dashing after Selena, the thought of hope that it just might not be able to fit sounding good enough reason to follow the blue haired girl, as she dashed right after her.

Meanwhile, the sounds of heavy steps on the concrete ground were starting to get louder, and Josie started to feel the ground shake under her feet as it drew closer... Almost sounding like it'd be right on top of her soon...

(Oh I wasn't trying to suggest that it wouldn't come after us cuz it wouldn't fit, just that if it doesn't see us, there are 'regular' monsters in a house and this thing sounds anything other than normal)

Josie took a sharp breath at the rumbling sound, noticing how close it sounded, and darted quickly and quietly after the other two, just praying to herself that it wasn't close enough to see them.

As they waited in the bar, hoping whatever was out there would not notice them, they eventually heard it approaching more, and more, until they saw it, right in front of the bar, making sniffing sounds, as if trying to smell where they are...

From the looks of it, it was twice the size of the largest man on Earth, and it looked to have giant, powerful muscles, along with a mean attitude. It's whole, man-like body was covered in brown fur, and it's head looked like that of a bull, only without the piercing in it's nose.
