it might just be me but i feel a shift in art style between the original animations and this walk cycle.
she isn't quite as tall and is slightly less animeish. perhaps she would work better without defined lips. Also her body parts seem particularly... stock

I see what you mean. I'm actually not at all a fantastic artist when it comes to drawing people, so I do tend to trace something that may suit my purpose and just try to touch it up. The hands are what I'm most dissatisfied with here; they just look a little off. I'll take out the defined lips; that should make the face match the other animations better. Height is also easily fixed. The hair bugs me a little. I think I may have overdone it with the highlights. >.<
Stay tuned for attempt #2! Though it may be awhile; my next day off is Tuesday. . .

Well that didn't work as well as I thought it would. I wanted to be able to post right away a nice rar full of possible sound files. It's harder than I imagined to find a good set of consistent and satisfactory noises. Well it wasn't as if I exhausted the net so there's still hope. And if all else fails we always have copper/cappy... ^_^
Are there any other sound effects besides moaning that we might be aiming for with this? Vine/tentacle noises, rustling, amibient stuff? I'm sure I could gather up some miscellaneous noises if there's need for such. Also simple cropping and cut off removal of sounds is easy enough, so I'd happily spend some time processing any longer or undivided files you might find.
Other cheep/temporary solutions for sound could be to pull a load of sound files from games like RyonaSaga. Already pre cut to length and presumably in a compatible format. Might sound strange, but easy as pie and would help to put together an early build and to get an idea of how many sound effects we'd want. Another idea would be (I'm presuming there must be some method to do so) to rip the sound effects straight from the old JG (and/or DG), though I imagine we're aiming for a little more variety than the old game had?
