The tiny Spiderling would jump around happily when it was told that it could still travel with Deva, hopping into her pocket and peaking out for a few moments to wave goodbye to Neith, but otherwise returning to the comfy spot that it had found before, eager to see all sorts of fun things by travelling with Deva. Then when she returned, her Tome would be eager to speak with her again, having grown rather nervous from being separated. It didn't have the best sense of time either, so for it, Deva being gone felt quite a bit longer than it actually was. "If you do not wish to tell me the story of these things, then I won't argue. Regardless, I'm glad that you're feeling more focused. As I have a feeling that things will only get more and more difficult from here on out. Thankfully, I doubt there is much that will be able to stop you considering how well you've done so far..." It would say, feeling even more confident in Deva's chances, though it also knew that there was a chance that they'd be having some trouble considering what it had already seen of the agents. "It was just a thought, in case there's ever a big enough emergency. But I do not know whether or not I'd be able to return spells of that nature to you, especially considering just how powerful they really are. Hopefully we'll never be in a situation where we would need it." It would answer right before they ended up in a new Story.

"Her top agent? Didn't think that you would know anything about her at this point. Did Tabitha mention something while I was shaking things off? Either way, I'll make sure to ice the ground around you, if it ever comes to that. Just try to make sure you're feet are properly warm before it stops, if I'm doing it without concern it might hurt a bit..." Isa would warn, not wanting to hurt Deva too bad if she could help it. But, if it was to stop or slow down who would apparently be the most powerful of the Cloaked One's agents, then the ice mage figured that it was just a natural result of the things going on. "So whoever she is, she's at nearly the same level as you or the Cloaked One? That's... really frightening now that I think about it. Going against either you or the Cloaked One is scary enough, but two at once, not exactly something that I would sign up for under different circumstances..." But these weren't any different circumstances, so much was at risk, and even if it was the most dangerous thing that Isa could think of, she'd be here to try and stop it. Even knowing that she had little to no chance against the more powerful opponents, at the very least she was doing something, at the very least she was working towards keeping everything safe. That would be enough for her.

"Grew up in the desert? Really? You don't seem like the type really... It's just... Euuughhh... I don't like it. Hopefully we'll fix things up here fast or something... Remind me to never go into a desert unless I really have to..." Isa would ask, still seeming very uncomfortable about even the thought of being around in the desert for however long they had to be there. Either it was something in her past that she couldn't remember, or it had something to do with her actually being a spirit rather than a regular person. She just seemed like there were hundreds of other places that she would rather be at this point, but if she noticed Deva looking at her, she'd give a nervous smile and a thumbs up, not wanting to seem like she couldn't handle something as simple as a desert.

Azalea would look around, her formerly hard facial features having grown a bit soft, and at the same time another part of her had grown exceptionally hard. She smiled a bit at Deva, her cock hard and throbbing, excited to be with her Mistress, before she started looking at everything around her, frowning just a little bit. "Yes I have those with me, Mistress... This place... It feels ominous, stinks a bit... I mean, deserts normally do, but this place feels like that but even worse..." She would say, sounding just as uncomfortable as Isa did moments ago, apparently having her own problems with these kinds of wastelands. Though even with all that, there was a look of adoration in her eyes, one that still showed her enslavement despite the discomfort coming from the area around her.

"Anything to make this place a little more bearable... Gonna take me a bit though, places like this make it real hard to focus energy, even on something as simple as making things colder. Strong heat screws with my magic pretty hard." "Of course, Mistress! This'll be fun... Though I don't exactly work with spells in the same way you and your friend do..." Azalea would explain, giving Deva a nod as she began building up the energy of pure nature. Though she would moan when Deva grabbed her bottom, gently rubbing into it a bit as she felt her Mistress' magic starting to flow through her, giving another smile as that energy began filling her. Isa, for her part, would close her eyes, clearly concentrating intently on what she was doing, and if Deva reached out near her, she'd feel that the air around the ice mage had grown extremely cold, dropping to near freezing levels just a few centimeters around her. Thankfully, she wouldn't be sending that cold of a temperature out, it was just a side effect of her using such a large amount of magical energy. And after a good few moments of Isa concentrating, the air around all of them would grow just a little cooler, making things more comfortable, making it easier to support plant life. When Deva gave a little extra instruction, Isa would just give a groan of acknowledgement, unable to say much when she was focusing on her magic. Though, the air would grow just a little cooler, going along with the angel's request. Meanwhile, Azalea would gently bury a few seeds into the ground, smiling a bit as she covered them with sand. Then she reached a hand down and... gripped her cock, cooing softly and starting to stroke her hard cock, moaning a little as her hand would start pumping up and down. While Isa and Deva worked with their respective magics, Azalea would masturbate, lewdly moaning and shuddering in ecstasy as she played with that throbbing hardness that Deva had given her.

Neither of the others would even notice the clouds overhead, as Isa was concentrating too hard on just keeping the air cool enough to support life, and Azalea was far too wrapped up in her own pleasure to notice anything else. A single drop of precum would fall from her cock, landing on the ground, turning the sand a deep brown, turning it into extremely fertile soil. Then a little bit of plant life would grow from that spot, spreading out for a very short distance before stopping, the dryad's cum causing life to spring forth. She'd moan again, her cock dripping at this point, each and every drop causing just a little bit more life to spring forth in the midst of the desert. Finally, Isa would breathe out an exhausted breath, letting go of her energy now that the air around them had been properly cooled, looking quite tired as she stepped over to better listen to Deva, suddenly blushing furiously when she noticed what Azalea was doing. "Phew... Geez... please... let's not make this... haaaaahh... a habit... I feel like I just did the magic equivalent of lifting a horse... Hooh boy... Alright, so we're livening up the desert, and making it so that fighting is kinda pointless, got it... No problem. It's actually really clever." She would say, nodding a bit before she decided to just sit down, sighing a bit now that she was done cooling down the entire area around them. "Seeds? No problem... Just one moment..." There'd be a small shift in the air around them, and a tiny rift would appear in front of Deva as the Tome had to bend a few rules of the Story to ensure that the seeds that she asked for came. Then, out of the rift, all the seeds that Deva specifically asked for would land in her hands, and if she took a moment to look they'd actually be near perfect specimens of whatever type of seed they were from. Apparently, since Deva didn't specify the level of quality she wanted from the seeds, the Tome had just assumed that she had wanted the best. As the seeds started spreading out, Azalea would let out a scream of ecstasy, her cock throbbing now, spraying cum out, rope after rope flowing out and splashing across the desert sand, sinking in and turning it into fertile, life supporting soil. Rather than filling a short radius, the strength of her orgasm would spread the fertile land and growing plant life out through quite a large distance, creating a giant oasis in the middle of the desert. Her cum would sink into the ground, ensuring that the land would stay fertile for quite a long time, helping to further nurture the seeds that Deva planted while other types of plant life started springing up, special plants that the dryad had wanted in there herself. Azalea would lie down gasping for a bit, cock still dripping a little, each drop making the already lush ground even more filled with plant life. She'd sigh contently before pulling herself up to her feet, smiling and walking over to Deva. "Yes Mistress, leave it to me! I'll get right on that. With this much life all around me, it won't be a problem to stay hidden." She would assure the angel, walking just a short distance off, taking in the beauty of the oasis that had just been created before doing what Deva had wanted of her. "Uuurrrghhh... Y-Yeah... I guess I'll go scouting... Oof... Personally, I'd prefer not to walk up to the two near godlike beings though... I'll be heading to the armies if you need me... Be safe alright? Huurghh..." The ice mage would say before standing up, seeming still a bit tired out from what they had been doing. Though, if Deva tried to stop her from scouting, Isa wouldn't have any of it, refusing any chance at rest when she could be doing something useful, reassuring her companion that she could handle scouting out something like this. "Pillows? Of course... I wonder if I still... Hmmm... I do! Still have 'conjure pillows' as one of my speed summons. Heh... Alright then, pillows coming up!" The Tome would answer, and this time rather than any rift appearing, a few fluffy and comfy pillows would just suddenly appear in front of Deva, not even looking like the rules of the Story had been broken whatsoever. "That's one I have a lot of practice with actually. You'd be surprised how many people just want a pillow to rest their head on for a little while, or maybe you wouldn't considering how much you understand that feeling." It would say, stopping for a moment as it started using its powers to detect if anything was in the immediate area, ready to warn Deva the moment that anything approached.

"No complaints here... I've seen more than enough war to last many life times at this point. Stopping one from happening is perfectly fine, besides, Stories will naturally work to try and return things to their natural state, it's only when one continually pushes them out of position, OR alters something drastic, that things break down. It's a shame that we can only prevent this for a short time, because I have a feeling that this conflict is integral to this Story. Even if we could keep this land from being a war zone for a hundred years, they'd move on to another one..." The Tome would say, emanating a sense of sadness that something like this was woven into the very fabric of the Story itself. "Milkshake? What is a... milk... shake? How can you shake milk with strawberries?" Though after a few moments, before Deva started explaining anything to it, amusement would emanate from the book. "Kidding, I know what that is. 'Abusing' my power is fine, though I'd prefer a 'please' for something like that!" Then a small drawing of a smiley face with its tongue out would appear on the next page... before a strawberry milkshake would appear in front of Deva, a straw ready and everything.

"Oh my... something really MUST have happened wherever you went. You're even more impressive than when I first decided that you would make for a great wielder. And yes, having someone that I can rely upon, someone that I can trust, it really does help me remain confident through it all. It's been such a long time since I had someone with me, my apologies if I get anxious when you are not around. Thank you, might I add, for caring for me as more than JUST a tool to- Someone's coming, from above." The Tome would suddenly warn, and just as it did, Deva would hear a voice. "So who has decided to disrupt our battleground? Have you finally come to your senses and come to bargain, Sylva? Or is this some kind of pathetic trick they're using in the hopes of defeating us?! Well there is at least SOMEONE down there..." If Deva looked up, she'd see an armored man floating above the oasis that she had created, looking down on her with a rather angry look on his face.

A man with a blood red cap would float down, a deep red glow in his eyes and deep blue armor covering all but his head. Pure, raw, unadulterated power was emanating off of him, which would be a good indication to Deva that this was likely one of the god like beings that the Tome had been talking about. He would float down to be closer to Deva, not wanting to have to shout just to speak with her, though he would remain floating a few inches off the ground, causing him to be looking down at Deva as he spoke. "So it wasn't Sylva that did that? A shame, I'd have hoped that at least ONE of them would see reason before this destruction was laid on their hands. Hmph... Whoever you are, unless you are with the army, I suggest that you leave here, as I won't be held responsible for whatever might happen if you're caught in the crossfire. In fact, even if you ARE a part of the army, I suggest that you run. The forces don't stand a chance, so if you are with them, this is your chance to run. My wife would not be so kind as to let you leave here alive if you were a part of their army, so take it as a blessing that you met the more merciful of your future Gods, and leave!" He would command, voice brimming with authority, sounding like the kind of person that wasn't used to being refused anything. He'd cross his arms a bit, floating above her and looking upset, scanning the surroundings for anything that might be a threat, still not convinced that this wasn't some kind of trap to stop him.

"Also, IF you do have some sort of ambush planned, you best make sure that it kills me, because if I survive I think I might run a bit short on mercy for the day. Sneaking up on the great God Fortem will be met with swift punishment." He'd threaten, clearly not the least bit intimidated by Deva, even after she seemed to be the one responsible for suddenly creating life in the middle of a completely barren desert.

Classical Deva theme this week!

"I don't feel like things will get more difficult." Deva enthused at tomey. "I'll just hold back less. Party more!" Whatever happened, her morality definitly seemed improved, as she petted the little curious spiderling.

Deva shrugged at Isa then. "Remember the snowy-world?" Deva pulled up her dress, showing her wiggling bare feet. "Angelic lineage. I can be hurt by cold, but you need a good lot of it." Deva shrugged. "You're thinking something along the lines of 'damn, I have no chance against any of that!' Spend less time thinking about the strength of your enemies, more about what you wanna do after you dealt with them. You could make a mean ice-cream. Thats basically ice with flavor.. sells great at hot places!" Deva adviced, enigmatically.

"What, expect me to be sexily tanned because of the desert thing? Yeah, this pale complexion is here to stay, like the cold resistance. It made me a bit of an outsider... either way." Deva mused. If she hadn't known Isa was an elemental incarnation.. now she would have guessed it. The desert was the heart of the summer, a creature of ice would feel only less at home on an elemental plane of fire.
"It is a bit dreary, ain't it?" Deva mused. She didn't want to think about the implications of a darker wasteland. Brought back bad memories of her youth. Of fighting armies of undead, hot blood in hotter sand, the birth of the darker her, as much as that was a seperate part..
Still, Deva took the time to pat-pat her dryad comfortingly. "I hear ya two, lets get to re-decorating."

Deva raised her brow at Azaleas spellcasting. Well.. That put a whole new light onto why Azalea .. cared so much about her plants. Deva couldn't remember.. installing this, so the dryads magic had always been... fertile. She tried not to get distracted though. Some of her spells were actually focus intense, a grade 7 control weather spell and an epic life-rain spell..
"By the way, Isa, albeit more controlled you did the same thing with your magic oozing out of you, creating a cooling aura. You held it together well, but still so much wasted energy. Magic is not about lifting horses, but making them jump while you ride them. Wooo!" Deva enthused, while secretly wondering just what kind of power Isa could unleash if she had her level of control. Well, her musings got a little interrupted as she watched Azalea work.. and clearly enjoy herself, fighting the urge to catch a cum-splurt for herself.. that was for the plantening, after all.
Deva chuckled at the exhausted Isa, knowing that, if not restoring her body, the life-infused rain draining down upon them would quickly wash away all fatigue. She then nodded to Isa volunteering to scout for the army. "Sure ok!" Well, that would settle whom Deva would check out then.

"Conjure pillows sounds like one of the best spells ever. You know I once theorized a spell that would make it rain fluffy kitties. Took too much effort to protect the little things though." Deva mused at her tome, relaxing in the pillows in a leisurely posture, enjoying the plants growing all around her and trying to chat a palm into giving a coconut to her. "Come on, I just planted you.. " She looked intently at the tree. Palms were so stingy.

"I've seen a fair share of conflict myself. Lived enough lifetimes to be more annoyed than horrified at it though, I guess. If war can not be prevented, it can be shaped and guided. Ever played a game of chess? Peasant militia, knights, towers.. It's just war for the civilized. Not saying I can make the people here settle for a game of chess.... hard to explain the rules sometimes you see." She nodded.
".. a milkshake please." Deva added, with cheeks puffy at the tome teasing her, but a happy slurping noise occupying her milkshake-drinking habits.
"Something does happen wherever I go! I like sight-seeing, and if nothing happens, I start things. No idea why you praise me about that though. hehe... huh, you were anxious? Oh well, gotta take you along though. Didn't want you to get worried or triggering any defensive spells though." It would have been awkward if Robin had showed up for the rescue just as Deva got enslaved by Neith on purpose..
Deva then closed her tome, and peeked up in time with hearing the voice.
Then, before she could respond, a coconut fell down close to her, with her cheering, and picking up the big, already ripened, green fruit with a cheerful expression. "Why thank you!" She enthused, looking up at the man, waving, but also focusing on rolling her coconut around, fishing about in her poket (hand wandering over the little spider to explore). Her poket was enchanted to both hold more contents than it possibly could and provide her with whatever she desired of those with but a thought.. if she fished about, it was because she was undecided.
".. sorry, could you borrow me a knife kindly? I don't really carry anything I could use to peel this thing I just realized." She pondered. "Wait, that's not whats important.. Ah. Right! Hello Fortem, I'm Deva, the Eight. More to your interest, I'm the lesser Deity of Twilight, well I was, now I serve a greater cause." She slurped on her milk-shake. Milk shakes and the drinking of them were a great cause, after all! "So, are you the hero or the villain of this story. I want to say villain, hope this doesn't sound prejudiced... not that it matters.
Well, actually, I'm with neither the army, neither truly on your side nor against it, but that could change! You and your wife want to become the new, true gods of this world. But what if I told you there were many worlds, that in the grand scheme of things, your ambitions were looking rather simple, considering what you could accomplish, under the guidance of my mistress?
But.. what I say must sound hard to believe for you. After all, I just planted an oversized garden to get your attention, every overzealous druid can do that. And I guess you don't yet have the eyes that see. Eh eh."
Deva remained lazed back on her pillows, hesitating, then going on. She could try using one of her summonings to test this man, but not counting Neith, she had only five left, and she expected to have to use up two of her greater summoning trump cards when fighting the rebellion. No, it was best to keep these for the actual agents. Defeating this one wasn't her goal, much as something about him made her skin itch.

"Oh, I should explain. A proper deities eyes can pierce through illusions, spells.. if they are strong enough they can see everything for what it really is. It's hard to explain to mortals, but you look at an oak and see the acorn, best I can describe it. hehe. My point is, certainly, no god would have approached me so casually. You're unguarded within my sphere of influence right now you know. Vines." Deva snipped her fingers, some of the plants around her sending out grasping vines to try and restrain this Fortem.. nothing more than a distraction, as Deva reached out for her broom. "No, this is not an ambush, consider it a friendly sparring-test. Haah!" Deva claimed, casually tossing her broom towards the floating man. Though, if he tried to block it, or brush it aside, or did anything that wasn't dodging it or use powerful magic, he'd be in for a suprise. The broom held just a bit of divine energy within it. While it was designed to harm evil beings primarly, it held enough power to penetrate an aura of power like his.. and cause a minor bruising (which would easily heal) or scratch on his armor.
At the apex of her broom attack, Deva was already concentrating again and, if the man was able to pay full attention he might notice the hidden power and effort that doing these things so effortlessly took, just a glimmer of Deva's true power, a brief ray of sunlight from behind dark rainclouds.
"Simulacrum." Deva mused, an illusory copy of hers appearing and catching the broom wherever it flew off to.. or gripping it, if Fortem had simply tried catching it, the illusory Deva spinning around, the broom arching and slamming into the back of Fortems armor, bristles that appeared to be wooden and easily bent causing sparks to fly off of mighty metal and although the strike had little force behind it, the illusory Deva not as strong as the real deal, the magic infused in the broom had a disrupting effect on most things it hit. Not enough with that, unless he implemented some sort of magic, the vines around would quickly regrow and attempt to grab at him again in the rain of healing energy.

"Though you seem powerful enough to have the potential for it. Perhaps it'll come to you with the rush of Adrenaline of battle. Try and take a close look. That's not a broom hitting you. This is not a helpless woman lying before you. Try squinting." Deva mused, seeming supremely unconcerned with retaliation against her, as her illusion, lacking the ability to fly innately, likely flew along with the momentum of the swing if not struck by a counter attack, simply landing on the newly formed oasis-undergrowth., if not all too gracefully. so.
Deva's apperance.. Deva's broom. No matter how hard Fortem tried, he most likely couldn't see what she was. He had looked around for an ambush without sensing it, he still relied on his mortal eyes. Likely, the broom felt as if it had a hidden edge, a dangerous blade, to one so powerful and versed in conflict, but Deva in contrast seemed.. just supremely relaxed, despite being in the presence of the mans powerful aura and unleashing these powerful attacks on him.. was it just her broom that was special?

Either way, if he did simply defend without immediatly retaliating, or if his retaliation was, as Deva anticipated, more a testing sword slash than deadly force, She'd lift up her coconut and continue chatting, as if her attack hadn't happened:

"Hmn.. unless I intentionally lower my energy to a level you can percieve you propably can't do it without attaining full divinity. Do you have dogs in this world? And dog whistles? I hope so, if not this example is gonna sound like nonsense... err.: It's kind of like that. A high enough noise can make humans cower before you, but get too high and you don't hear anything at all. Am I saying that dogs have a greater affinity to the divine than humans? Kinda.. I mean, have you tried spelling dog backward? Gotcha!" Deva chuckled, chatting on casually but making it actually hard for anyone not paying close enough attention to keep up with her good.. and not so good arguments. She wasn't even deceptive, she was having fun.. and being deceptive. The reason Fortem couldn't sense any energy when looking at Deva was obviously that again, in raw force, he far exceeded Deva as she was now. But even when she had been a deity, Deva had not had such an Aura. True, she had a divine aura that could empower her allies and fill her enemies with dread, but she rarely used it.. weaker beings could barely stand in her presence, falling to their knees in despair or adoration... and Deva had never liked that. Well. A part of her had. And always would, for a while. A part of her wanted to enjoy Azalea and Isa as her obediant worshippers, joining her army of angels...
But a larger part of her wanted to be a good girl for a strong mistress to lean on. Finally, if she didn't supress and hide the powers she -did- currently have, well, she would have never met Mulji and Limone, She would not have met the Snow-owl and his human, she most certainly wouldn't have been able to hide in the village she had enjoyed before all of this started.
Because with such an aura of power, you gave up on having a normal life. Simply lazing about and enjoying a coconut. People kept coming, trying to worship you, asking you to save them. And Deva would never grow tired of saving people.. but unless you wanted to be there, forever, you had to make people save -themselfs-. It was the same for this man, really. If you wanted to rule people, you had to be willing to rule them forever. And if he was the nicer of the two, this couple did not seem like they would make for good just rulers. Deva could see the fear of betrayal in his eyes. A weakness.. sure, divine apotheosis might fix that.. it might not. While thinking all this, she continued on:

"Looking at you and how you handle yourself, you're a might-type god. Strength, war, tyranny, such things. I shouldn't try to arm-wrestle you but let's hope none of this allied army guys figure out how to get all their strongest mages together and chant a ritual of binding on you. Dangerous things these, even if they sometimes kill the casters too. All they need is a personal item or a part of your body. Fun fact, when I became a godess I was at first quite overconscious about my hair-brush. You wouldn't believe the kind of spells mortal magic can do with an immortals hair.
Scratch that, you would -certainly- not believe the kind of magic that a mortal can do with an immortals pubic hair. Topic for a different time, eh eh.
So, hope this is not insensitive or nothing, but is your wife stronger than you? Perhaps I should go and find her make our offer to her. Hrmnn.."
Deva mused, trying to let a little bit of unusual arrogance flow into her tone, consistent with some of the agents. It was time to put her plan into action. The attack, that had just been to .. build a relationship with the man. He seemed to be the type that -thought- they could read their opponents in conflict. Deva was glad to provide that.
"You see, my mistress is only interested in the really strong ones. The strongest of each world. I'm sure you'll agree, but only the strong can rule the world. I mean.. even if you were weaker than her, I'm sure you'd be willing to make.. sacrifices to see your wife prosper.. and she you." The art of lying was not to tell what you wanted others to hear, but to let them fill in the blanks. Let their imagination take over with the meaning of the words you used. Sometimes, every word mattered.

Isa would stretch a bit, glad that the rain was helping with her fatigue, not really wanting to go off and scout when she felt as exhausted as she had after using up that much energy. "Is riding a horse fun, by the way? Makes sense, it's just tough to keep that much energy under control when it comes to these kinds of things, shooting cold in one direction, or freezing one thing or something is easy because there's a single place to direct the energy to. But trying to cool the entire air around us, that's way more of a range on it. I basically HAVE to let it loose with less control, otherwise the entirety of the air wouldn't be cooled, and the plants would only grow in, like, one single spot..." The ice mge would say, seeming much better now, smiling a bit as she looked in the direction of the army, wondering what she'd be able to figure out by heading that way, and also preparing things to say just in case they didn't particularly trust her. "Oh, uh, if you see a big explosion of snow up in the sky or something like that, I'm PROBABLY in trouble. Figure I'd let you know just in case..." She would explain, wanting some kind of back up plan in case things went wrong. Really, she knew it'd be difficult for anyone to get there in time if something did happen to her, but she figured that Deva would appreciate the information. "Here's hoping that whoever they are, they're willing to talk with us. I mean, I don't THINK I look like one of these 'gods' so maybe they'll be fine. Heck, if they're not big on magic they might think I'm one of their ACTUAL Goddesses." Isa would joke before walking away, leaving Deva to rest as well as think up whatever sort of things that would come in handy against the Cloaked One.

"Conjure pillows can actually come in handy in all sorts of different situations. Though my wielders more often than not use it just to provide them with something comfy, which is kind of the intended use of it, I just like some of the times that I've used it in the past. Once tamed a dragonling with a fluffy pillow, that was a fun time." The Tome would say, seeming to be in a much more confident and cheery mood now that Deva seemed to be as well. It did genuinely like seeing its wielders happy, and whatever had happened with her, the Tome was just glad to see that the angel was in good spirits. "You know, I could just get you a coconut if you want one so bad... I suppose it's not the same as getting one straight from a tree that you had just grown, but I can get you just about anything so long as it legitimately exists in some story somewhere." It would explain, which meant there were near infinite possibilities of different things that the Tome would be able to get for Deva. "I was a little anxious... Being separated from my wielder is strange sometimes. Plus there's pretty much nothing that I can do in that situation, aside from sit there and talk to anyone that might happen to open my pages. I'm not exactly a fan of being completely alone, and I can't keep track of time as easily as others." Spending so much time alone, and without any real look at the things around it made Tomes naturally rather bad at keeping track of time unless they were constantly focusing on it.

"I know the names of each and every deity, YOU are not one of them. Besides, you wouldn't WANT to be considering all that's about to happen. I doubt you'd want the deaths of every single person over that clifftop on your hands. So, Deva the Eight, I once again suggest that you leave before this place becomes a battleground. Though... if you would be so kind as to undo whatever healing power you've caused, I'd consider even sparing your life should I run into you in the future..." Fortem would threaten, still looking down on the angel, purposely positioning himself so that he looked down on anyone that he talked to. "Hmph! I and my wife are the Villains! I do not care for such petty morality though, so call me what you will. When all is said and done, and we are GODS of this pathetic world, then none of these designations will matter. Hero or villain is useless, such a title doesn't actually befit a god!" He would answer, seeming to have no qualms with being seen as the villain in this entire situation. Which might seem a bit odd because normally these types saw themselves as some kind of hero, though perhaps he was just that tyrannical as to understand his role as the villain and still not care in the slightest. "Bah! Even if I were to believe you, why should it make any difference to me? I plan to be the god of this world! Others do not interest me in the slightest! Once I am a God, I will rule this world and this world alone. Besides, I would never exist BENEATH anyone, the fact that you are so willing to serve another just once again proves to me that you are no Goddess! Those other worlds can continue with whatever they are doing, I will busy myself ruling THIS world! If that is all that you plan on offering me, then BEGONE!" He would command, waving away as though he were trying to dismiss the angel with nothing more than a command. "You are trying my patience, leave this place so that I might return to crushing this world beneath my boot. Perhaps then the gods will finally realize just how much destruction I am willing to lay at their feet to get what I desire!"

When the vines approached him, the man would merely scoff, and the first one that got near him, he'd grab and yank at it, pulling the vine with an incredible amount of force, pulling an entire tree down that had the vine wrapped around it. The tree would fall, completely uprooted just from him pulling on that single, vine, smirking a bit and gripping at any other vines that came towards him, this time just pulling the vines out rather than pulling the entire tree, demonstrating that he could control just how much strength her used, and this time just removing the vines and throwing them at the ground. "My goodness you are trying my patience. But did you honestly think that a few simple vines would be able to do anything to stop me? Of course you didn't, it's just an attempt to try and distract me, but instead you are just further angering me." Fortem would say, rolling his eyes, not even fazed by the vines. It also seemed that he wasn't the least bit scared of standing in Deva's ground, used to not being challenged by any sort of threat to him. He'd raise an eyebrow when Deva through a broom at him, reaching out to catch it when it got close, hand moving at incredible speeds to grab the broom out of the air, his face suddenly becoming a mixture of surprise and pain as he gripped the broom, though he wouldn't immediately drop it. Instead he'd growl a bit before carelessly tossing it behind him, surprised that anything like a simple broom would be able to harm him. Which in turn meant that there was something special about Deva, or special about the broom, either way he wasn't looking to get hit by it a second time. So when Deva's simulacrum tried to swing the broom into him, he'd dodge quickly and grip the simulacrum's wrist, throwing the illusory Deva straight at the real one. "How about you take your damn broom back?!" He'd shout out, having thrown the simulacrum on a path to collide directly with the angel. Other than that, however, he wouldn't even attempt a counterattack, just floating there and watching how she was going to react to having something like that thrown at her.

"Lies upon lies, deception and wordplay in an attempt to confuse me. There is a simple answer for that ruse, I simply ignore everything that you say and proceed as though you hadn't said it. Of course I'm not a deity yet, what do you think the whole point of this is? I do not simply destroy city after city for fun! Though... I suppose that it IS rather enjoyable to do so, but that is beside the point! You may tell me time and time again about how I don't have whatever divine powers that a God would have, but it is simple, I have yet to become a god. I may not be able to see these things properly, but I will tell you what I CAN do. I can crush you beneath my boot, I can hold the lives of millions in my hand and snuff them out in an instant, I can move mountains and burn forests to the ground, I can decide who lives and who dies, so I may not have all the minor details down, I have the power of a true GOD!" He would shout, still effortlessly fending off any vines that came to try and stop him, the red glow in his eyes growing even more intense as he talked of the different things that he could do, rage still clear in his voice and expression. Though even with all that ranting, he still wouldn't do anything to Deva, floating there above her, as though expecting the angel would leave now and then he wouldn't have any reason to deal with her.

"Let them assemble whatever magic they can, seal me away at their own risk. My wife will crush them all and free me without effort. You forget that there are two of us, and the two of us would be able to crush whatever pathetic magic they decide to throw at us. What is a mage when compared to a God?! You feared something like that, I will MAKE them fear me too much to even dare trying that kind of magic on me..." Fortem would then roll his eyes when Deva started asking about his wife, seeming even more annoyed than he had mere moments ago. "Are you perhaps trying to cause conflict between myself and my wife? A clever attempt, but the two of us do not care which is stronger, we only desire godhood. Though if you really must ask, you may talk to her yourself. Praesidia!" He turned and called out, seeming rather confident considering that he still hadn't attacked. Suddenly there'd be a bolt of lightning hitting the ground behind Fortem, and a woman would appear, quickly floating up next to him to stare down at Deva.

The woman held a long, glowing spear in one hand, and had glowing rope in the other, looking down on Deva with more of a curious expression. "So this is the one that did this? Impressive... Is she worthy of being my handmaiden? Or has she shown insolence to you already? I know you disapproved of the last one I wished to take when she insulted you so, perhaps we should just obliterate this one instead?" She would ask, landing on the ground and walking towards Deva, getting extremely close if allowed, and just examining the angel, looking around her and taking in every detail that she possibly could. "She seems small, demure, I wonder if she is here to try and stop us?" "Run... This is your last warning. Leave now or we will MAKE you leave. Whether that means throwing you out of this desert or making your soul leave this plain of existence, we WILL be rid of you." He would threaten, grabbing a coconut of his own and throwing it at the ground in front of Deva, creating a small crater as it hit the ground, the coconut splitting open in front of her at the bottom of that crater, while Fortem stared at her angrily. "Perhaps it is better that you just leave. If you are part of the army then we will simply eliminate you tomorrow. But if not, just leave. I am already tempted to simply wipe you out for delaying us like this." Yet neither of them would even attempt to attack Deva, the only bit of actual violence either of them would commit against her being the thrown simulacrum earlier.

Classical Deva theme this week!

"Never rided a horse. scary things.. well there was.. a centaur lady. Her front was all lady, but.. Ahem. Story for another time, but some food for thought before you leave, Isa, if you think about it, the area around us is a rather tiny spot, compared to the whole world around us, isn't it?" Deva mused, but otherwise nodded to Isa's plan and chuckled about the explosion, or the idea of Isa looking like a godess.. Time would tell the rules of this world. If this was a low-magic world, a lot of people should come looking in amazement at the sudden oasis, after all.

"I know but the coconut tastes different after you talked a palm into giving it up to you.. and growing the palm, magically.. whatevers. It's a thing!" Deva insisted. "But aww, ok, not gonna leave you.. or perhaps leave you a note on how long I'm going to be left.. anywhoo, it's not too likely I'll disappear soon." She nodded, pat patting her tome somewhat apologetically. Not a fan of being left alone herself, after all.

"Damn, every single deity? There's gotta be thousands, no wonder my name slipped your mind." She did narrow her eyes a little however as the man went on. "Hmnn, I've had enough blood on my hands, one could say I don't want more deaths on them, yes." She mused. "Though, as you have guessed, it'd be pretty hard to kill folks while within this spells." She tipped her chin. "So if I could offer you power greater than what you have right now, you'd refuse it on the basis of never wanting to bend the knee before another?" Deva smirked, inwardly. So, if that was true, the agent would have to target.. Isa might be in trouble.
Well, for now, Deva had an angry demi-immortal to test.

Deva watched the Vine-yanking with more curiosity than most of the mans prattling, whistling, actually seeming impressed. "Not half bad force you got going there." Deva mused, her simulacrum fading into nothing rather than doing damage to her. "Swift, efficent movements, and the damage my broom did should already be healing up from the rain. Quite interesting really. Also, though you seem to be the brawn you are capable to see through emotional manipulation with ease on your own." She mused, looking disappointedly at her coconut, before setting it aside. Though, she did cheer up when the other of the couple showed up.. with a spear. "Neat. That could help me with the coconut.. though I think it might also fry it.. Hmnn now I wonder how fried coconut tastes. Hrmnn..." She tilted her head.

She did let Praesidia get close, seeming to take her in in turn. "Hmnn.... oh hey! That's super nice of you." Deva grinned, reaching into the crater and picking up the split coconut, putting the other one into her poket (again making the size of it seem off as she wiggled it in) whilest nomming on some of the coconuts insides and finishing her milk-shake.
"Well, if you both want me to leave, I shouldn't dawdle, I guess." She rubbed her chin, seeming to be deliberating something. She quite certainly didn't feel like letting this one win, but just beating him up right here and now would certainly destabilize the story. If she were to guess, these two being not fit as agents might mean the same was supporting the army instead, right now. Certainly, someone in desperate times would be willing to do a lot. She seemed intensely focused for a long moment.. for someone that was munching on another bit of coconut at least.

"Actually, thinking about it, you throwing me out would be great! Could you be so nice as to aim me in the general direction of the army? I think it'd save me explanations if I go like 'Heey guys, I'm a mage here to help you, tried attacking those two but they overpowered me, damn, they scary, so whats our plan!'" She offered, nodding thoughtfully to herself. "That said. You misunderstand the nature of a deity so profoundly it is almost comical. It is true, a god holds the lifes of millions in their hands, but at the same time, those millions hold the lifes of the god in their hands." Deva tipped her chin again.

"Frankly, I'm glad you're this powerful." Deva leaned on her broom by now, still seeming hesitant, but musing on, her expression all of a sudden growing serious.. and cold. "This wont feel like I'm beating up a child then. Phoba. I guess fear is the only language you understand. Tomey, make sure no agents or people I like are up close right now." Deva mused, focusing on Fortem, her eyes glowing a faint blue with a hidden danger. Now, that she stopped hiding herself, she seemed older than she looked, a subtle sense of danger emanating from her, like when facing a veteran warrior you didn't need to see their skill with the blades, but just how they held themselfs, the scars on their body. "The problem is.. I don't know whos over that hill. They might be quite mean, perhaps this world is just dark like that, I have a bit of a dreary feeling about it. Plus, I'm fully aware that rather than solve this problem for them, I ought to let them deal with you. I know that all too well. Plus, I got more important things to deal with...
But I just .. I'm incapable of standing by while you threaten the death of innocents."
Deva narrowed her eyes and the area around her seemed to darken to a level of half-light, half-dark, the only darkness still contrasting in this muddled out light being Deva's shadow, which, if anyone watched closely, moved slightly out of synch with her. "I see right through you, little man. You're afraid, so afraid you want the greatest power in this world to quench your fears. It wont work. The fear is within you and if you grow stronger.. it'll just grow stronger with you, trust me there.
I act the kind and gentle fool because that's a part of me, but also because it let's me watch what people are with their guard down. Let me explain something to you. Wandering about with an aura of power oozing out of you that's not what a proper deity does. No, not even a deity of Tyranny. Not because they couldn't, no, but because, well.. if the greater deities didn't restrict their aura, mortals within their area of influence would go mad. That said..."
Deva chuckled, the oppressive feeling of unease melting away as if it had never been there.

"I don't know if you are that good to trick them, or the gods of this world are just assholes, or if my world had unusually strong deities, but the real riddle is why they don't do anything to stop you. I mean seriously, if someone were kicking my followers about, I'd have sent an avatar -before- you managed to gather all this power. Something isn't right here and it's not you or this army! Aha!
How come two usurpers like you could amass so much power to begin with?"
She pondered. "Oh, by now, you propably figured out whats happening to you Fortem. I've used a little power of mine to turn everything you are into an illusion. However, you are already too powerful for it to stick for too long. You'll propably regain corporal form in a few minutes, and your full powers in a few hours. But I just wanted to make a point and she.." Deva pointed. "Seemed more the type to not punch me while I was talk-a-talking about things."

She crossed her arms, then mused. "So, whats wrong with your gods as they are, oh and let me make this clear, this is not a question you have the luxury of not answering. If you paid close enough attention you realized that in between your husband regaining corporeal form and him being able to defend themselfs there's a time span were he is very, very vunerable.
So, this is how you threaten someone. You find what they hold most dear, then, you threaten to destroy it unless they do what you want."
Deva explained, calmly. "Oh and. Just to prove a point. Kneel." Deva demanded. "Or don't. I'm curious to see how far you are willing to go when it comes to him. Because.. right now I value his continued existance very, very little. It's up to you to .. amuse me." Deva smirked now, her eyes having gained a deep red glow rather than their usual blue one.

"You see, I need you two to play your part and do your annoying conquest-attempt. If you don't, well, crazy as this may sound, end of the world. I was telling mostly the truth earlier, there is this mistress that wants to collect worlds and powerful people,.. but I'm actually working to stop her from interrupting the normal progression of this world. Which is you two, fighting the army of them. That said, if it's actually you two as you are now, or enslaved to my will.. that's entirely on the table, now I don't -want- you and it would be a lot of effort and, frankly, defeating you without killing you would force me to use more power than I care to, so how about we all get along, you answer my questions and I'll be on my merry way.
Question number one: Why crave the power of gods if the gods themselfs are unable to stop you? Why are the gods of this world so weak or uncaring?
Question number two: That prior handmaiden of yours, how would you describe her, did she come to you willingly and did she try to urge you to do things in any specific way? Question number three: What is Fortem so afraid of? Clearly there must be something in this opposing army you fear.
Question number four: What if I could promise you the rulership you wanted, at the price of not being able to rule all the time?
See, I'm thinking of a simple compromise here. You want to rule this world, you get to. You want true divinity? You get to. Problem is, being a god is not all it's made out to be.. there are .. rules you have to follow. For example, a godess of spring can't exactly do anything during other seasons. A god of war can't actually make people go to war, only provoke them. There has to be balance, a balance that becomes part of who you are.

In the end.. divinity.. is just another prison."
Deva grew a bit disheartened for a moment. "Even if its their fear, it still defines you. Once you become a god of tyranny and conquest, that is part of your nature. You can't ever be anything but a conqueror. So. I'm more than willing to let you have this world.. under the condition that you only can enter this world when discord and strife among people have reached a certain point. And then, when you conquer and unite them, there will always be heroes that banish your all too short rule. That's the victory I can offer you. Live forever. Have the power you desire. Conquer, and rule the world.. but never forever. You will become a symbol they fear, that they unite against and prosper to overcome... some will admire and emulate it and.. heh, perhaps, once every few generations, the brighest of minds might come to wonder if someone arranged things to be this way on purpose."

Deva mused, the dangerous glow in her eyes fading away slowly as she shrugged, reaching for her coconut again. "If you agree and answer me, I will help you. If you don't.. well, I'm quite tired of all your 'conquer and rule and crush those who oppose me' types. I've seen so many of your type I'm pretty sure I could do what you do better. Let me be clear here, when I was a godess I once spent a decade disguised as a slave-girl while turning an evil tyrants kingdom into a loving, peaceful aristocracy -very- loving and I didn't do it because I wanted to prove anything or got bored, but just to see if I -could-. So if you two want to have trouble with me go wild, I'll just kill one, enslave their soul for later recycling then turn the other into my loyal servant and I'll be done with it by the time the armies and you were supposed to clash come on up, on my fluffy wings." Deva seemed almost more annoyed than anything else at the end of this.

"Thousands? Do you know nothing of our world? There are merely 50 gods and goddesses, though I suppose that if you include demigods then you reach into the hundreds, but even then it would be surprising to me..." Fortem would stop, actually seeming distracted as he started thinking about just how many gods and goddesses there were once demigods were put into the mix. Plus he was also confused as to how one could make such an obvious mistake, right up until he remembered that the angel had just previously been talking about different worlds. "Bowing before another? Bah! Did you not hear me?! I am to be a GOD! A ruler! I will have all the power that I will ever need, and an entire world to rule over. You and your 'other worlds' if they even exist can walk through the gates of The Inferno for all it matters to me!" He would declare, yet even with how insulted her sounded from the things Deva said, he wouldn't even make any attempt on her after throwing her simulacrum. Instead he just kept floating there, shouting at her and threatening her.

"Would it surprise you to know that such a simple display of power is nowhere near the full extent of my strength? I could tear this oasis up tree by tree if I so wished, and hurl them far enough away to where they wouldn't regrow! One punch could take a life, and yet the armies of these pathetic mortals think that they can stop even me alone? Bah! The two of us will make short work of their armies!" He would declare, apparently not growing tired of his prattling and gloating any time soon. Since he could do that and easily keep up with the vines, he saw no need to stop his gloating and intimidation, displaying all the power that he could. "A God must not let themselves be easily manipulated! I spend years and years watching the mortals play their little games of manipulation and politics, simple attempts to get me to turn on my wife won't be enough! My power will be my own, not someone else's to manipulate!" Would be the last thing he'd answer before his wife showed up, the two of them growing even more confident once they were in one another's presence. "Interesting... One that not only doesn't fear us... but almost seems to have the time to mock us. Strange... I would've hoped that we'd have struck fear into every mortal's hearts by this point... I expected every soldier today to quiver in fear as they even approached this battlefield. A shame really... It seems we'll just have to work harder from now on." Praesidia would comment as she looked Deva over, seeming even more confident in her chances once she got a good look at the angel.

The both of them would roll their eyes when Deva went for the coconut that the man had split open, surprised that anyone could be this jovial when their life was essentially in danger. Though when Deva went in to put the coconut in her pocket, she'd feel the tiny spiderling hopping onto her finger and running around in a circle on her hand. Then, it would jump right off her hand to return to its spot, more just enjoying being close to its mother. "Good. Escape now, and run as far from here as you possibly can, and maybe you will escape with your life. You might get lucky by the end of this, and we will ascend before we reach whatever corner of the world that you hide in. So go, and be happy that I find this oasis rather beautiful. Because if not I might have chosen to instead tear you apart like my husband is so keen to do at times..." She would say, trying to get in one last threat before the angel left, clearly not realizing the actual threat that she was in. Though, if Deva paid attention she might notice that now it was Praesidia that was saying her husband was the one that tended more towards violence.

"If she is just going to go to the armies, perhaps it might be better to destroy her now? Or maybe we'll throw her in the opposite direction, let her walk for days before she can come even close to our battleground, and let her discover the results for herself?" "Oh come now, Fortem, do you truly believe that she will make even the slightest difference in the upcoming battle? Even if she is one of the more adept soldiers of their armies, we can simply target her first during the battle. If she truly must face our might so that her will would be broken, then so be it. Let her leave for now, and if she makes the wrong decision then we can end her at another time." The two would talk as though Deva weren't even there, both of them seeming snide and confident as they spoke of what they would be able to do to Deva if things came to blows.

Though once Deva started getting serious, Fortem's calm and confident demeanor would break for a few moments when he saw that Deva was getting serious. He could tell that she was more than she had initially let on, his eyes losing their cruel confidence and becoming a bit more analytical, like a general about to step onto the battlefield. "Be wary... She is much more than she had let on. Apparently the tiger has finally shown its claws..." His voice had grown far more serious now, the sneering confidence leaving his voice just as much as it had his expression. "YOU think that you can stop us? This is a war, they are no innocents! They all had the choice to bow before us, or face our might, and the place we are right now shows exactly where they decided to stand! They will taste our power just as you will if you wish to persist in stopping us!" She would threaten, twirling her spear around in preparation for some kind of battle. The weapon would glow more intensely as she channeled some of her energy into it, ready to face any challenge now that she was warned to not underestimate the angel. "Fear? I fear nothing. Least of all a puny little fool like you. My aura is merely a natural aspect of my power. My might is too great to hold within form. I can not help it that I am just far too powerful for this form alone. It is just another sign that I am destined to become a true deity. The power that I hold is one that can only be contained by the body of a God!" Fortem would tell her, justifying the aura of pure power that still emanated from him at even this moment, crossing his arms once again before remembering that he was facing someone that was actually a threat, uncrossing them and readying a proper combat stance, realizing that he shouldn't be dropping his guard against someone as seasoned as Deva. The both of them would look around a bit, a bit more concerned at the strange mix of darkness and light that was going on, Praesidia in particular looking quite a bit more nervous than she had been since she had first showed up in this situation.

"Why have they done nothing to stop us?! BAH! Because they are cowards! Because they do not truly care about what becomes of their world! They'll only care when we hold their very life blood in OUR hands! I'm sure someone in that army over there is sent directly from them in the hopes that we will fail, but the pathetic fools have ignored everything right before them, and now they ALL pay the price!" Fortem would say, some of that anger and cockiness seeming to return to him when she asked that question, though he would then look around for a moment as he felt the power of Deva's magic, his power naturally fighting against it, but unfortunately for him he wasn't exactly immune to powerful magic. So no matter what he would still end up affected by the spell, glaring angrily at Deva as he realized just what was happening. "You dare do that to my husband?! You are lucky that I don't tear you limb from limb! Undo whatever it is that you've done to him!" And still those threats were empty, Praesidia not even reaching to harm Deva at this point, instead just growling angrily at her and twirling her glowing spear around while she shouted and threatened.

And then finally, her anger and confidence would break completely, all the rage fading and replaced with fear as Deva started to legitimately threaten Fortem. True, honest fear filled her eyes, and she stood there for a moment, seeming to internally struggle with something as she thought what to do at this point. "NO! DON'T TELL HER! DO NOT MAKE THIS FOR NOTHING! I'D SOONER DIE! DON'T YOU DARE LET HER KNOW!" Fortem would shout at her, his own fear evident, though at this point it didn't sound like her was frightened of being harmed or killed, but more terrified of what Praesidia would tell the angel. "I'M NOT LETTING HER KILL YOU! I CAN'T LOSE YOU!" She would shout back at him, her eyes tearing up just a little bit, before she turned back to Deva, falling to her knees, looking very different from the act she had put on initially. "Please... please... I'll tell you whatever you want... But please... I beg you... If you care about this world as you claim... Please... make it so no one but the three of us can hear this... I beg you... If you have any ability... Don't let them see this..." The woman would beg earnestly, her weapon falling to the ground forgotten as she looked more like a scared human rather than some powerful and violent near goddess.

Though she knew that Deva didn't need to do any of that, she knew that the angel had the advantage in this situation no matter what. So whether or not the angel actually did anything to prevent others from spying in on, Praesidia would answer any of the questions that the angel had for them. "The gods are not weak... They are uncaring. THAT is why we crave the power of the gods... There is war, destruction, evil, pain and suffering in every nation. There is so much pain, and every day these people pray and plead to the gods to do SOMETHING to help in any way. And what answer are they given? They are given nothing for any of their devotion. Yet they sit there and act as though the people should continue their worship for nothing... That's why we want to be gods..." As she started to try and explain this, Fortem would start shouting, trying to reach out and grab Praesidia to keep her from saying anything further, but since he was an illusion he'd be unable to stop her, falling to the ground and punching it ineffectively as he heard his wife revealing the truth. "We want to be able to actually answer these people, give them gods that will actually look over them and CARE. But... we can not become gods without the gods themselves giving it to us. They don't wish to lose their place... They fear gods that would actually do something... But... if we hold their followers in our hands, then they will HAVE to give it to us out of fear of us destroying them all. But at the same time, the gods are now watching us carefully, looking for any moment of weakness... If they believe, for even a moment, that we are bluffing, then they will simply ignore us once again. That is why we must be evil, we must be villains that tear things to pieces and destroy, we have to kill, with the knowledge that we WILL resurrect them no matter what. I swear that much... We will bring them back to life, and if they wish to enact punishment after punishment on us then they may... But this is our only way, our only way to make sure that the people have gods that will look after them. In fact, if we do this right, the other gods will be FORCED to help the people, otherwise they would slowly lose followers on their own. THAT is our goal... THAT is why we are cruel. We do it not because we like to, but because we HAVE to in order to protect this entire world at once." She explained, tears streaming down her face as she tried to explain what they had done, both terrified of losing Fortem, and part of her devastated that she was forced to reveal all of that.

"The handmaiden? She came willingly... Seemed terrified of us, but at the same time she wanted to side with us in the hopes of not being harmed... She was petite and kind of beautiful, but didn't urge us to do things in any way. We turned her away because... well... really we didn't want her to be put in danger. If we form a connection with anyone, the armies could've used it against us. I shudder to even think of what The Queen of Agony would do to her..." She further explained, not seeming the least bit arrogant now that she had willingly dropped her facade for the angel. "As far as I know... Fortem is scared of two things... losing me... and not being able to protect the world. Even with our power, so much happens that we can't do anything about... he fears actually having their lives on his hands..." Fortem would seem to have recovered himself somewhat, standing with his arms crossed and his eyes staring at the ground, thinking carefully over something. He seemed more worried than he had since the moment that he had appeared before Deva. Rather than angry, he just seemed disappointed, more in himself than anything else. "We do not truly want to rule... We want to be gods that can actually answer the prayers of the people in some meaningful way... That's all I want. I don't care about ruling, or being a god of tyranny, I just want to give them more than what they already have..."

"I don't know what you will do now... But please... I swear to you that we do not act evil and destructive out of a desire to do so, we do it because we saw no other options. We studied and experimented and tried so many ways in secret, but none of it worked. We do not care if we no longer are people when we are divine, we do not care if we must give up so much... All we truly want is to give THEM something... And if we give them something, we force the others to do so as well... I'm sorry... Please don't kill him... We'll completely give up on this if that's what you want... We just wanted to do something more, something that would help... We've already united a world at brutal war... But that won't last, not without something to help them all..." She would say, tears streaming down her face now in fear, not knowing what else she could've done. And then Deva would feel her magic over Fortem breaking suddenly, the man forcing himself back into existence through shear force of will... so he could kneel down and put a supportive hand on Praesidia's shoulder, holding her gently as he realized that everything they had worked for might be for nothing at this time, but instead focusing more on comforting his wife. "So what will you have of us? You hold our fate in your hands at this point..."

Still classical Deva theme!

"50 gods and counting. Large pantheon." The more Deva heard about the gods, the more it sounded off that there'd be no interverntion. A small pantheon was impartial sometimes, a god of life and death balancing one another out, but once you got into larger numbers you had gods for war and protection, alliances.. certainly, a few of the gods should have taken action, at least for their own sake!

Deva decided to not deem Fortems boasting worth an immediate answer. There was no point impressing him by noting that she could talk the oasis into doing the same thing, using not power but time and patience... though why uproot these plants. She just hoped Azalea was sensible enough to not get riled up by his talk, looking at the difference in raw strength between him and the dryad. She also chuckled at the enthusiastic spider-companion.
"You are wrong. I don't think I can stop you, I know I can. I just don't want to because then I'd have to take your place in this narrative. So I'm not stopping you, I'm cutting you down to size. And what you gave them is not a choice, it's an ultimatum.
This is not the tiger showing their claws, this is the little kitty getting up and you suddenly realize it had been a tiger all along."
Deva extended her arms. "I guess teenagers like you can feel proud of making me stand up and growl a little, but I need to keep my claws for someone more dangerous."
Deva chuckled, looking at the spear, and holding onto her broom. She was confident it could stop a divine relic not wielded by a full godess. Sure, the broom was not indestructible, but that was a worry when facing the first or the cloaked one, not this woman.

Deva sighed at fortem going on about his aura. "Power by itself is nothing. Water can grind mountains into sand, yet through how many rainy days have you wandered? Just because you get people around you wet doesn't mean you are powerful.. it just means you've grown up to be so powerful yet you still wet your bed. Or, to say it clearly.: In the short moment I spoke the word 'phoba' I unleashed a power that exceeded yours by a good amount, so quickly, someone without strong instincts or good eyes could not possibly have even realized it." Deva explained, enjoying the child-analogy by now. "Divine strength, Righteous might, Greater aspect of the deity. I could emulate your current level of power with two mid and one high end spell, albeit shortly. I didn't because well.. I'm not lowering myself to your level. and.. .to be fair, I could only use the mid-level aspect of the deity spell, I gave up a lot of my powers, long story."

"I can't undo Phoba for almost twenty four hours. The danger of my most powerful spells is that I can't actually just 'disspel' them, or stop them. Only Phobas sister spell Phantasma could undo it, and I used that to make this little oasis. Don't worry, you are so bloated with power, raw power which my Phoba can't easily erase, that you should be able to bounce back pretty soon.
That said... You can't harm me my dear. You have to kill me in a single strike if you don't want me to understand how this spear works and take countermeasures and.. I doubt you can do that while my Rain of Life is falling upon us. Also."
Deva chuckled "You really pay no attention to your surroundings, do you?" t. "Palm of the heroic feast. I've been nomming on it for a while, which means it'll be even harder to cause injury to me. Thanks for splitting it open. I really had no knife on me." She chuckled.
"I knew something didn't fit." Deva then mused, weaving cautious arcane signs as the woman before her broke. "Silence, sculpt spell. Fog, invisible spell. Fog, sculpt spell."
She chanted, unleashing a barrage of low-grade spells with relative ease.. that together made it quite hard for magical and non-magical observants to try and get a peek in on them. A fog and ball of silence rising around them in a ten feet diametre, no noise, no sight, not even the eyes of those that could see through normal illusions (they would see the invisible fog instead after all) penetrating through, as she mused.: "There. Anyone that can see through that can propably pry the information right out of your heads as well. Now talk. If I didn't know better I'd say you try to scare me for its own sake."
She hopped down on her pillows, seeing no reason not to finish her coconut after making her point. As per usual when unleashing her powers to this degree so violently, she felt bad afterwards...
Still, in a darker urge, Deva chuckled at Fortem. "Settle down, you are but a ghost right now. Actually, not even, ghosts can do quite kinky things with ectoplasm." She chuckled briefly, then, she looked at the womans explanation.. and clapped, and laughed.
"Ohohoho! Oooh this is neat. I dared not hope, you know. See, the whole story was fishy from the beginning, as soon as Fortem went on about not caring who was more powerful. If you truly care about power above anything else, you don't want to share it. .. you dun have to kneel anymore, or keep kneeling, whatever." Deva tossed a pillow over, sitting cross leggedly, and staring down into her coconut. "Alright, where do I begin.. I guess by hearing you out up till the end, though I can already think it all through on my own.

By the way, you do have the potential to become gods. You shouldn't be able to shake off my Phoba like this.

Well, I'm sure you are curious about your fate, but first, let me tell you why I'm here.

What I said earlier was the truth, there is one that seeks to destabilize worlds to consume their power. Out of a misguided desire to keep them safe forever, but unless you want to join her snow-globe collection I suggest you listen to what I have to say.
I had you figured wrong, or rather, I grew tired of hoping.. and your act is pretty good. As is your plan. You unite the people of the world against you. But there are two problems you face right now
One of those problems, is the existance of a dangerous and powerful entity among the army. Someone that will have power at least rivaling Fortems and their goal is to break this world off of its natural direction, which.. by now, I suspect might actually be you winning.
But the other problem is in the nature of divinity. Ignore what I had to say earlier, but there are rules. Where to start..
Becoming a deity can be done in different ways, in different worlds. going by the sheer number of deities you have, you are in luck as we are not dealing with a limited number. But the way that you become a deity is the problem. Deities are made out of faith. Peoples believe shapes them.
It is... tomey, could you link me to the twilight paradise for a brief moment for sake of demonstration? Just link me, anything more would drain you considerably.. yes.. thanks."

Deva raised her hand, her demeanour changing again. This time, there was a gentle calmth around her, a feeling of savety. All the flowers around her began blossoming, while the half-light returned, Deva's wings raising and spreading out. "I am Deva, The Twilight Godess, the Wings of Hope. When I raise my hand, a thousand hands rise with mine in prayer. When I speak. I do so with a thousand voices. Every time my name is spoken, every time one thinks of me, I know. I feel. I will never fail. I will never fall. I will shelter you all, embrace you, give you a new chance in this faith. When I became a godess, through the hopes of those I sheltered, I was still Deva, but I was more, so much more." She exhaled, closing Tomey with a whispered, slightly exhausted: 'Enough...' Then, after a moment, she explained: "Haah... Deva. The Wings of Hope, The light in Twilight, the old smiling lady. All are parts of me, but what matters most is, that I wasn't just who I was anymore, I was who people -thought- I was.

Do you understand what that means? You two are quite close to becoming deities. Frankly, you might not -need- the other gods if you are victorious tomorrow. But that is not the risk. If you win through fear and tyranny, that is what you BECOME. If there is already a god of victory in war and tyranny or whatever.. Fortem will step in his place. The old god might still exist, as a shadow, but all the hopes.. and all the fears of the people will become a part of you.

What I say is that, even with a will of iron, you wont have long until the power consumes you. There may be still a voice deep down belonging to Fortem, belonging to Praesidia, but because the faith of you, you created, is so different of who you really are, that voice will be like the lone jailer of a thousand prisoners.. and if you don't do what the prisoners want, a lot.. they will riot.
Understand the sacrifice you will make.
But there's something worse you need to know."

"A deities powers are not unlimited. Well, they are, but only as far as their power is conerned.. Gods and godesses of war and cruelty can never raise the dead. A deity can alter reality, sure, but that can restore one person at a time. Only a godess of healing, of life or nature can possibly restore lifes lost on grand enough a scale. The only way you could return those lifes.. would be to fight all over again."
Deva, for a rare moment, looked actually troubled, as she thought this through.
"The only way around this would be.. ugh..." She bit her lips, her eyes suddenly becoming teary.
"You have to pay the ultimate price.
Fortem, you'll have to get mortally wounded.. Because one of you, has to demand to become the new god of peace. And the gods would only believe this if your wife has to become a godess of peace to safe your life.
By taking up the mantle of a godess of peace and life, she can gain the power to heal you and undo all the harm you do.. However...
That means Fotem, would become the god of war and tyranny.
Opposing forces. Light and Dark. You would accomplish all you desire, but you'll have to make the greatest sacrifice. You will still love one another, but fire and ice can never be one... There's only been one deity, in all of time and space, that managed to unify that which can not be and.. you're not me.
I can offer you one day. One holiday you can give the mortals, were weapons are carried but never drawn, one day once a year were you can meet and be together. Every over day, you will have to scheme and prepare and struggle against one another. One to maintain the peace, the other to break it, forced to always foil one another unto eternity.
Do you understand the curse of divinity now? There has to be balance, always. You can't have a world in peace.. but in fearing you... and hoping for you."
She pointed at the two, respectively. "You can restore balance to this world. The other deities will be forced to equally take up their act, nature and progress, fire and water, whatever you have, if they do not, worship of other deities will slowly, actively turn to just the two of you."
Deva explained, then looked at Fortem. "It is my duty to deal with the one trying to disrupt this story either way. You should grab yourself a weapon, all gods of war have one. I know you wont need it, but with your apotheosis, it'll become a powerful relic for your church. Perhaps take her spear. A rope is a good symbol for a god of peace. And before you worry about the mortals remembering your wife as anything -but- their benevolent savior.. trust me, mortal memory is crappy. It takes only a few generations and they wont remember either of you as anything but the story you create.. if you create it now."

".. hrmnn.. you know what, take this." Deva sighed, opening her feather-case and handing over the blood-red feather to Fortem. "There is a chance that, through the actions of the one that wants to control this world, the army has grown strong, too strong for you to handle, and I find myself busied dealing with said agent. This feather will, for one time, summon an ally, someone almost as strong as you in raw power, but also the greatest warrior of all times. See it as apology for being a little forceful with you. Now then." Deva mused. "I've got an ally hidden in this oasis, so try to begin the battle close to it.. While the spell that turns rain into healing energy can't be dismissed easily, my control weather magic is still in effect." Devas eyes lit up. "The rain will stop in a short while." She then picked up her spiderling and nodded to it. "Tell Azalea to support these two and then stay with her until I return or summon Azalea back ok? I don't want you to get injured on accident in the middle of whats to come." She pat-patted the spiderling, then looked over to the two.

"Right-o. So if the oasis didn't attract attention, my brief display of divine power, like a loud noise in the night must have attracted attention and those spells wont last forever against curious gods. Fortem, you should be recovered enough to toss me to the defenders army. Pretend you overcame me after all, you know your role better than I. Try to aim for that 'queen of pain' area of the united forces, sounds like I'd not mind accidentially squishing one or two of those guys, and a good point to begin my investigation. A friend of mine also checks out the army, so I might be busy. best of luck. Come on, get up, fighting stance! Fortem should have enough juice recovered to toss one light angel.. wings make me very aerodynamical!" She grinned, tossing over the feather to Fortem before putting it back into her poket, adding. "Let's protect the future of this world together, if you got any last second advices, now is the time, .. .. ok then. Dismissing my spells!" And Deva did so, suddenly rushing at Praesidia, swinging her broom.. in a way that made it easy to block it with the spear, and if the would be godess neglected to block the first swing, she would certainly not neglect to block the follow up, Deva's broom and her spear interlocking in a dramatic, but not really combat-efficent way, Deva's expression shifting, showing a good amount of expertise in acting on her end.

"Enough of this! I wont let you threaten this worlds people any more! I'll take you down before your husband is recovered." She growled, then whispered at Praesidia: "pushing you against a tree, kick me to Fortem." As she pushed the woman back with a smirk, only to growl and stumble back slightly when kicked, growling and gripping Fortems head in what looked like a vicious hold, but was actually almost painless and allowed her to whisper: "Pretend to struggle break free, grab right arm, don't touch broom." Only to let go of him with a short moment of struggling, spinning around with her right arm raised to smash her broom into Fortem. "What? Your power should still be weakened from my spell! T.. this is impossible! No mortal can be that strong!.. twist arm to right and upward, then pretend-hit my side. Ugh...."Deva stumbled forward, wobbling, seeming disoriented for a moment. "T.. this can't be. No, I have to stop you! Ok, get ready to tos, don't forget to gloat, best of luck."
As Deva, if all went well, went flying with a well-acted scream she pondered.

There was one thing she had not quite planned for while looking at the big picture. Her wings didn't actually work for flying. And she kind of -wanted- to look all beaten up when she landed to gain the trust of the army. She had a few moments sailing through the air for spells, so first, an illusion to make her look like a druidic wizard, and then some magic to lessen the falls impact? that sounded good. Deva waved her hands, disguising herself as an elfish druid:

Then cast a minor vigor spell that would slowly heal her injury upon impact the rest.. well.. she could actually take a hit. The landing would not be pleasant, but being an injured survivor send flying after fighting the two enemies of this army might make it easy to get peoples trust... She raised her hand, conjuring a few leaves around her to cushion the fall without stopping it entirely, thinking annoyedly to herself how she really didn't like being scrached up, even if her magic could heal her easily whenver needed.

The two of them would remain silent for a bit when Deva described her own power, the both of them realizing just how powerful the angel was. If they weren't scared of what she could do to them, and terrified of failing the world, they would actually be quite inspired by the angel. While her level of power wasn't exactly what they wanted, her ability to be brave in the face of any other power was something that the two of them aspired to. Not only that, but the clever strategy had surprised the both of them, not realizing that the coconut that she was eating had anything magical about it until the moment that she had pointed it out. However, once Deva cast her spells to ensure that others wouldn't be able to listen in, the both of them would calm ever so slightly, though Praesidia was still clearly distressed at the thought of Fortem being harmed, and would still comply with everything that Deva wanted to know.

Praesidia would pull herself up to her feet, seeming to calm down just a little bit when Deva looked to be pleased by their honest answer. She'd start to wipe her tears away before Fortem would tear off a piece of his cape and use it to help wipe her face a bit, seeming more concerned about that than anything else. "Thank you... Hoooh... I'll be fine without kneeling really. Never enjoyed kneeling or making others kneel actually... I try to not make anyone do that if I can help it..." The woman would comment, seeming to regain a little bit of her composure now that Deva understood the details of their plans.

"Someone plans on sealing this world away completely? For power? Who would dare..." Though Fortem would stop himself as he thought about just how powerful the angel had already shown herself to be. If the angel was chasing after someone that was trying to become more powerful, he probably wouldn't stand too much of a chance against them. Anyone that Deva had to stop herself was someone that he really didn't want to face. The angel had been able to put Fortem in a terrible situation, one that he had no chance of winning, and she had managed it in with what seemed to be almost no effort, he wasn't going to pick a fight with someone that she was putting in actual effort into. "Thank you... The two of us practiced this act for months and months... That was before the gods were keeping as close an eye on us of course. We needed to be able to fool the gods, so we have to even act like this in private... This is the first time we weren't acting cruel and angry for weeks..." When asked, however, the Tome would link Deva to her Twilight Paradise without spending all that much energy, ensuring that all it did was link the angel so that she could demonstrate the things that she knew and the wisdom that she had.

Both of them would take a step back in surprise when Deva revealed what they could only describe as a true goddess. Fortem would even seem like he was on edge now, having to hold himself back as for a split second his rationality left him and he thought that Deva might have just been part of the Pantheon in disguise. Thankfully, he kept himself in check, reminding himself that the angel wasn't part of the gods and goddesses, and that attacking her would probably be one of the most foolish choices that he could make, especially now that he knew the angel could defeat the both of them. Praesidia, meanwhile, would look on in awe, more impressed than she was frightened by it. While she harbored her own resentments towards the gods, she was a bit more levelheaded when it came to someone so powerful being right in front of her, and also because the angel had already shown the two of them a bit of kindness once they weren't putting on their 'arrogant demigod' routine.

Silence would hang in the air between them at the idea that they would have to become gods of tyranny and conquest if that was the way that they could become gods. They would look at one another nervously, neither of them seeming to want that considering it would just leave the world right back in the position that they were trying to fix. In fact, this might actually make things worse for the world, as they would have more active gods, but those active gods would be purposely trying to conquer and hold the world as tyrants. Yet at the same time, they couldn't just sit back and let things continue the way they were going. So they didn't know what they could possibly do to try and fix this.

When Deva presented the actual answer to both of them, that one of them would have to be mortally wounded in battle, and the other would need to use that anger to become a different type of god. They would look at one another, a look of sadness in both of their eyes as they realized what they'd need to sacrifice if they ever wanted to make things right. Another tear would slide down Praesidia's face as she thought about it, but then they would both give each other a nod and look back at Deva. "If that's what it takes... If I have to be a god meant to start wars and cause chaos... to overall ensure balance... to make sure that they have a better world... If I have to give up Praesidia... For them... I will." "It tears my heart apart to say it, but if it will make things better, if it will make the gods listen, then I will do it. So long as we have one day... one day a year to be together again, I will be okay. Besides... one day a year isn't so bad when you have an eternity ahead of you, eh?" She'd laugh sadly, putting a slight positive to it as they both agreed that they would have to live like that if they wanted to do things correctly. They put the rest of their world even before their own love of one another, especially when they both knew that they would still be able to be together for at least a day.

"Thank you... Remind me to return it to you if I don't use it though, I don't wish to keep it from you if I end up not needing it..." Fortem would say, taking the feather and giving Deva a nod, very thankful to have someone like her on his side now. "Alright, the fight is still on then, and we can easily keep it close to the oasis. Technically the two of us decide where the battle happens, as they're coming to attack us... Either way, the fighting will be near here, as close as we can possibly get it." Praesidia would agree, while the spider would look up at Deva for a moment, seeming almost scared to go with someone else, wanting more to stay with its mommy. But it would eventually hop up and down a few times and hop down to go find Azalea, figuring that arguing wasn't going to get it anywhere, plus it trusted Deva enough to go with someone else for a little while. "You sent someone over to the army to take a look at them? I doubt they'd be too suspicious of anyone that's not us, so you could probably head over there without issue... Huh? Odd place for snow? Did you bring someone as powerful as you? Strange, I can't hear any struggling from over there right now..." He would ask, looking over to the mountains, and if Deva looked she'd see that there was quite a bit of snow coming down over behind the mountains. From the looks of it, the snow had been going for at least a little while, and the two of them would look at it with confusion. "Ah, right! Praesidia, get back into the act, quick! And hand me your spear! Time to be the villains the people need!" Fortem would say, regaining his angry composure, standing tall and cracking his knuckles in preparation to throw Deva over to the others.

"HAH! You think that ANYONE could stop us?! I could run you through right now! But you will serve as a better example to those fools!" She would struggle for a moment as Deva pushed at her, growling a bit before following her directions perfectly, the both of them rather good at putting on a fake fight. Fortem would act as though she was pushing him incredibly far, struggling as much as he could until starting to finally break free, groaning a bit as he pushed against the angel. "Grrrrghhh... You think... mere magic could ever stop ME?! I AM A GOD! BEGONE! TELL THEM WHO SENT YOU!" He would shout, lifting Deva up, and very quickly and subtly mouthing the words 'thank you' before tossing Deva with incredible strength straight over the mountain, sending her flying at just the right speed so she'd be able to have as much time as possible to slow herself down. When she looked down, Deva would see a rather gigantic camp, tents upon tents stretching on for quite a distance, all the nations of the world uniting in their last chance at stopping the tyrants from trampling them. She would land in front of a large, pitch black tent that looked more like an actual home than it did a temporary camp. And she'd see a stone wall erected right next to the tent, where there seemed to be...

A woman tied up in bondage, her clothes opened in the middle to reveal a throbbing cock, dripping with cum after it seemed as though she had just had an orgasm. Her face still had quite a bit of her own cum all over it, and she continued to moan and writhe against the ropes holding her. Meanwhile, a few other soldiers would be a bit off, seeming to talk to one another about it. "I know we've got the whole 'no infighting' thing going on right now... But does she HAVE to display her 'captures' so publicly like this?" Then quite a few guards and soldiers would rush over to Deva's position, seeming concerned about someone being thrown over the mountains towards them. They knew that only two people would be throwing someone over cliffs like that. They would draw their weapons, however, just in case it turned out that they were dealing with someone that was more dangerous than they at first seemed. For all they knew this was some kind of trick that the two 'gods' had created in order to pull their armies apart. Though before they managed to ask any kind of questions, a woman with red hair and dark black armor would walk over, a red blade in one hand as she stepped through the crowd to get her own look at the angel. Meanwhile, the crowd would seem to try and avoid the woman tied up and moaning near them, a few blushing in embarrassment as the redhead seemed to ignore it completely.

However, said woman would be walking with Isa, who seemed to not be in any danger despite the fact that she had just shot her snow warning above the area. Apparently the ice mage had seen Deva coming over the mountains, and while she couldn't see through the disguise, she could reasonably figure out who Deva was considering the direction that she had just come from. "Ah! You're already here! S-Sorry about the snow thing... I kind of panicked a bit when they seemed suspicious of me... Probably shouldn't have been too trigger happy with the alert there..." She would say, blushing a bit in embarrassment over being so quick to panic. She HAD been a bit on edge with all the desert around them though, and it seemed that she was fine, all things considered. "Are you two together? You the one that made the oasis over there? I can only assume the arrogant wannabe gods over there threw a hissy fit at someone changing up their plans... Are you ok? Why are you here?" The woman would ask a bunch of questions rather quickly, gripping her blade just in case the person that had shown up was dangerous. "Ah... but I have forgotten my manners... I am Orise, Champion of Bellume, and leader of the Crimson Brigade. Are you perhaps a servant of Sylva? Her church did not send many, as most of them do not have any training in combat..." Orise would say, introducing herself before kneeling down to see if Deva needed any help getting up. All around them, there were soldiers in different outfits walking around, talking with one another, and mostly preparing for battle. A sense of fear and dread seemed to hang over the camp, armies and armies gathering to face two enemies, and yet they all seemed slightly worried that they stood no chance against people as powerful as Fortem and Praesidia. "Are you okay? That looked like a nasty throw... I had heard that those two were strong and ruthless... but I didn't think they'd be so willing to just chuck you over a mountain..." Isa would say, not having the slightest clue that the two of them were actually working to try and make the world better, only having gotten a little bit from the army's point of view.

"You shouldn't ask who would dare harm a world, but why... but it's a long story. Oh and.. gods are suprisingly easily distracted. Well, most of them anyway, if they've grown so distant certainly they aren't good at looking closely.. which is good for you of course."

Deva nodded, her expression more calm and solemn than usual. "One day every year. And for the rest, even if deep down you wont want to, you will be in conflict, foil each other on every step. That is the nature of divinity. That is what can save your world, not conquest, but a new balance of powers."

She then shrugged at Fortem.
"There is an, albeit small chance you might have to use it -against- me, so hold onto it. This feather contains a summoning pact with the greatest warrior I ever met.. surely something a god of war can use at one point." She chuckled, petting the poor spiderling encouragingly!
"Oh I didn't send someone as strong or.. struggly as myself. I provoked you on purpose because I felt something didn't fit and this was a good way to get answers." She would have explained. "Wait snow? Geesh, so she is in trouble. Time for me to get there.. I doubt I can do it under cover, but still worth a try."

Deva grinned ever so briefly, one hand holding onto her hat (just because you couldn't see it through the illusion didn't mean it wasn't there! As the elf-disguised angel flew through the air. A lot of tents, for certain. If Deva had not seen the two demigods herself she'd be quite convinced this army would be able to win, she mused briefly, then landed, with half of an audible impact on top of it. Now.. she actually didn't speak much elfish.. so.. what sounded like an elfish insult. "Hollowed oaks and broken bork!" She howled out, pretending to have taken a hit, when really, the palm-fruit she had eaten plus her restoration magic could easily deal with the comparatively gentle throw.

"A wall next to a tent?" She mused, albeit this was not quite the most distracting sight available, Deva's more submissive side being attracted to both the sight of the entrapped womans large cock and her lewdly cum-decorated face. Deva settled on simply rubbing her legs and pretending there was an injury, whilest remaining lying down on the ground. A lot of people had weapons pointed at her, and she didn't want to hurt them.

"Ah, hello there. I'm not with a church, there are other ways to faith.. Call me Freya. Arch-Druidess. I've heard of the plight of the people and came over here to put an end to all the troubles. I figured the stories of these two were overstated.. The opposite was the case. A-tat-tata.." She sat up halfway her wing-feathers now rustling like a cloak of leaves. "Ugh. "
"Also glad to see you are ok." She nodded to Isa, standing up, but then, purposefully losing her balance again. "Oww! Damn it. When I landed there was a short pain in my legs, about here, but it's not as bad anymore. My balance is off though.." Another advantage of being a healer was you knew exactly how to fake a torn tendon. She then grinned at Isa, noting, unable to stop herself in that regard: "It was the first time I got thrown over a mountain. The flight wasn't too bad, the landing needs improvement, but enough about me, what's going on with.." She looked to the bondaged-up futanari warrior. "Her?.. Not what I expected to find among a resistance-army. I understand prisoners and all that, but how about we unbind her first?" She looked at Isa, expectantly. She had magic to deal with bindings, sure, but not sufficiently natural looking magic. An Ice-blade would do far better here.
"Also, can you lot stop brandishing your swords about? If you want to threaten something badly, I could summon a hungry bear for you." She suggested to anyone still concerned about her, knowing that, ironically, the threat of something as mundane as a bear would put people at ease and reaffirm her apperance of a powerful nature-magic user, with Deva pretend-tried pulling up and trying to use her broom, now looking like a green, living walking staff with a few leaves growing from the top, as a crutch. She refused Orise's assistance at first, to create an image of a proud, perhaps seclusive spellcaster, if also with a hint of vunerability though in the end she let herself be assisted in properly standing up.
She looked at this crimson guard leader. She seemed concerned and helpful enough, but Deva didn't like it. No heavy armor, ment a swift fighter. A sword with no guard and a curvature like this indicated it was made for killing, well, most weapons were, but this was not one giving its wielder any options. Swift and deadly, if Deva had to guess.
There was also the matter of Isa suddenly panicking.. well she had been on edge and she didn't seem different from normal. "So hows things going around here? Seems you got enough manpower to deal with two godlings. Didn't even need to get involved, knew I should have stuck to my meditation.." She mused, content in playing up a bit of weakness and letting others take a look at her.. while she observed them. The whole army seemed concerned, so perhaps the agent hadn't made a move yet.. but where and when else, worry was fertile ground for misguiding. Perhaps only a few specific leaders had been targeted?.. It couldn't be too had to just wait and figure out and see, exspecially if she presented herself as just another valuable target. She half regretted not having disguised Isa, but then again if things were reported about her, likely those reports focused by and far primarly on Deva, not the mentally more vunerable Isa.

"Well now you know. The two of them are exactly as they've been described... There's a reason I'm not trying to cut any of these soldiers down right now. Those two need to be gone before the Crimson Brigade can continue our... issues... with The V-Riders... This many nations wouldn't be getting along if it weren't for those two and their power..." Orise would say, seeming a bit less concerned about Deva now that Isa was checking up on her, the ice mage moving to Deva's side and seeing up close if the angel was ok. "Geez... No wonder everyone is trying to stand against them. Can't imagine how much strength it takes to throw anyone that far..." Though a part of Isa was a bit curious as to whether Deva had purposely let them do it or if she was holding back or got surprised or something, as she knew that the angel could handle something incredibly powerful if she wanted to. Of course, she wouldn't ask something like that in front of so many people, especially ones that were already afraid of something incredible powerful. "A pleasure to meet you, Freya... A shame this couldn't be under better circumstances. I doubt that even Brellum finds any glory or entertainment in this kind of war. Don't strain yourself too hard, you've likely torn a tendon... A wonder that you are not further injured. I will talk with some of the priests of Medicus to see if we can have you fixed for the battle that is coming. We need every bit of help that we could possibly get." She would comment, apparently decent at understanding injuries, while not being able to heal them, she understood the different ways the body could be injured. Isa would blush as she looked over at the futa warrior, having been too focused on checking if Deva was ok to even notice that something like that was happening. Though when she mentioned it, Isa would start focusing as a sword of ice would begin to appear in her hand. "I really don't think that's the best idea really... I doubt-" "You'd want to make someone angry. After all, SOMEONE will need to take her place..."

A voice would sound out, a pale, beautiful woman stepping out of the black tent. She had long, silver hair and yellow eyes, and held a tiny silver bell in her right hand as she walked out from her tent. She had a smirk on her face, a rather dangerous one at that, one that looked more like a cat that was toying with its prey rather than a polite or welcoming smile. She was flanked by two tall women wearing... well... it was TECHNICALLY armor. However, the entire middle was opened up, revealing their breasts and hard nipples, as well as the throbbing cocks between their legs. They stood tall, armor covering the rest of them, seeming unfocused on anything but the silver haired woman that they were guarding. The gathered soldiers would almost all immediately clear out, stepping back and suddenly remembering that they had something else to be busy with at this time, leaving only Orise, Isa, and Deva with the woman as she looked them all over. "Oh you poor thing... you seem so... hurt. But as you mentioned her... That little warrior-slut is the latest 'mighty hero' that wanted to stop me. I decided her services were better used under a different leader. And I might have come here to assist them in stopping these would be gods... I can't just leave this one without her training for weeks and weeks. So I brought her along, and am currently training her now. Don't worry, she's enjoying every moment of it now, she's far enough along that this training is intensely pleasurable. But if you try to free her... Well... I'll need to replace her with someone. Perhaps you are volunteering?" The woman would ask, looking Deva up and down, mentally undressing her for a moment before chuckling to herself.

"I believe you said that your name is Freya? Well mine is Mistress." Then she would laugh to herself, a low and rather dark sounding laugh as she looked around the camp, seeming amused that so many soldiers were absolutely terrified of her. "Ah... sorry, I am so used to being called that, I often mix it up with my other name. I am Masoch. Perhaps you know me by my other title? The one these little nations threw onto me in the hopes of making me look 'evil'? I am the Queen of Agony. What they sometimes forget to tell you with that title is that my nation is named Agon'nee when they come up with that fun little title..." She would huff, pouting a little bit at that thought. She would seem a bit distracted by that, before refocusing on the angel and smiling once again. "So what do you want of us? You are here to help, or more accurately you came to see if they were the real deal? Well they are... To the point where working with these angry ones is tolerable. Though... are YOU both part of the agreement of 'no harming each other'? If not then there are all sorts of fun things..." "They're part of that agreement as of right now. So keep away from them before we have to stop you." Orise would quickly interject, shooting the Queen a threatening look, which only made the woman sigh and throw her hands up dramatically in surrender. "Well that's no fun! We can't even have some enjoyment around here? They'd surely enjoy it!"

While the two started having a small argument about what they were allowed to do in the camp, Isa would lean in to whisper to Deva. "I was told to avoid the silver haired one... Apparently half the nations are at war with her in some form, a quarter of them are apparently now her 'slave nations' and the remaining few just ignore her in the hopes that another nation will stop her... Anyway... you want to talk in private about anything? You discover anything when you met the two of them?" Then suddenly Masoch would look over at the two of them, getting an even more devious smirk to her face and looking back to Orise. "Oh dear... Are those two trying to plot against us? Isn't that so dangerous? Whispering little secrets to each other... Who knows what they might be planning..." Something seemed a bit different about her voice now, and if Deva looked, she'd see that Orise's eyes seemed a bit glassy as the warrior turned to look at them. Masoch would step closer, smiling more and more as she started talking directly into Orise's ear. "They might endanger this whole plan... Oh they're so naughty... They need to be punished, don't they? Give them to me, and I'll punish them proper... Give them the naughty punishment that naughty girls deserve..." "P-Punish..." "That's right, a bit of punishment to put them in line... I can do it all for you, you just need to capture them for me... You can do that, can't you?" And for a moment, Orise's hand would reach for her blade, eyes completely blank as Masoch spoke to her, but then the warrior would shake her head and glare at her, awareness returning to her eyes. "Do that again and I'll cut you down where you stand. Alliances be damned!" Which in turn would only make Masoch laugh before giving a more innocent looking smile. "I was only having a bit of fun... I would've stopped you before you did anything too serious... probably... okay maybe not but it still would've been fun."

"Anyway, you two have free reign of the camp for now. Though be warned there are thousands upon thousands of warriors here, so don't try to attack anyone. If you're with Isa, then I suppose things will be fine, we cleared her earlier. Anyone in particular you need to talk with, or can we get going now?" She would ask, looking around for a moment. All around them were different colored tents, all with different designs, though further in the distance was a much larger tent once again, the size of Masoch's, but that one was a deep crimson. There wouldn't be too many soldiers or guards in the immediate area though, as the 'Queen of Agony' had scared quite a few of them off. Still, there was a thick tension in the air over the entire camp, the feeling of an incredibly important battle being right in front of all of them. This would decide the fate of the world, and everyone in that camp knew it.

"A wonder I'm this injured at all, you mean. Haven't seen people that can just -punch- through defensive magic. So barbaric. No, actually, seen some alright barbarians, it's so.. civilized.." Deva huffed, still keeping in character. Of course, if she had actually taken anything above a few scratches, Morphea would have activated if she wanted it to or not.

As expected.. someone excited the tent. Though likely not the agent, after all, this one had made a name for herself in this world. Deva would have lied if she hadn't admitted to being.. distracted by the odd couple of guards this one had accompanying her.. a part of her didn't even mind being visually undressed, though she now looked less like a cute angel, more like a fighty Elf-archdruidess.
She did not seem terrified, at least. Though, a downside of her disguise hiding her hat was that it in turn revealed Deva's subtle if.. curious looks. She did look over to the crimson-girl. Protective of her war-assets, wasn't she? Or just generally helpful. Deva was not quite sure if she was part of the agreement yet. She found something both distasteful.. and innately arousing about this BDSM-woman...

"Hmnn.. Oh you know me, always on the lookout for new discoveries. First, need to figure out any potential recent supportive arrivals to this army.." She mused to Isa, though didn't get to say more. "Hold on, something.." She got distracted by masoch before she got to questioning Isa, gulping ever so slightly at the dominatrixes words.. Also, her ears peeeked up at the sound of 'clearing someone'. Then again, she had been overly suspicious with the pirates, to little avail.
Leaning heavily on her staff, she mused what to do for a long moment. "Alright, clearly I've been out of the picture so long no one here remembers Freyalise, Natures Fury. Now listen up here, I'm willing to help you lot against those godlings, but don't think just because I come right from a punch-out with one of them I can be intimidated by a few humans in funky outfits." On second thought, funky was propably not something an elf would say, but oh well..

"Nor did I get to use all the spells I prepared for combat before I was thrown c.. clearly out of fear." She had hurt enough peoples pride to let that exact tone flow into her voice, toning down on arrogance, a hint of emberassment that made it sound as if she had indeed been defeated and now wanted to make up for it by boistering herself and boasting at others subtly. "My point is, if my companion wants to be part of an agreement, fine. I didn't agree to anything. Admittedly, I had a small setback featuring an angry wannabe immortal just randomly uprooting my grasping vines, but for your interest, when I got serious this Fortem upstart had to do the same. You humans can huddle together and .. just to be safe of course... I might give you my support, if you .. request it, but I don't need some embargo to protect me." She again made sure to subtly modulate her voice to create an impression of hurt pride, while trying to look strong enough to be a valualbe recruit.. but not look too strong. After all, it must seem that after getting serious Fortem had more or less easily disposed of her, but making him get serious seemed a feat worthy of consideration. She then casually raised her hand, casting a subtle animate rope spell.. like what she had taught a certain piratess, not long ago, the rope wiggling and unbinding herself from the captured hero.

"Oh lookie there. My magic slipped. Rope made from natural fibres, who'd have thought." She turned to Masoch. "Looks like I accidentially freed her. I'm such a clutz. Super sorry for releasing your toy, human. What are you going to do about it?" She challenged, green-blue energies beginning to cascade around both her hands, in reality just a shift in her illusion magic, as she gave a challenging smirk.
This was definitly a plot to further investigate how people would act, exspecially to dissension and emphatize her disguise. Deva wasn't at all curious on the Agony-queens reaction in particular.

"Defensive magic? The man punched through the magic barrier over Intelaen without breaking a sweat. The Crimson Brigade spent years trying to figure out how to pierce those defenses, and even with some of our best battle mages they've not come close..." "Yes, even I haven't been able to figure out a way into that silly little city... Well... not without some clever infiltration at least... You fiery ones are so direct... Sometimes a more... subtle touch is needed for those kinds of things..." "You say that, but I don't see the city bowing down before you yet. You've conquered so much around it, but haven't even tried yet..." The two would bicker for a little bit before returning their attention to Deva, both looking slightly more annoyed than they had a few moments ago. "Oh my... are you interested my little slut? Perhaps you'd like to join her even without freeing her? I could easily arrange that..." Then, as Deva watched the bondaged up woman, she would suddenly moan out rather lewdly, her cock throbbing hard and splattering cum across her own face, which she would eagerly start licking it up, going for what she could reach, not able to get as much because of all the ropes holding her back. "I believe that's the... 12th one today? Her training is coming along oh so well..." Masoch would say, smiling at the woman.

"Well it's a good thing you're ok... we'd be in a lot of trouble if a couple of 'gods' somehow managed to take you down. Though it'd be a bit of a surprise if they'd be tough enough to actually handle you..." Isa would say, figuring that this would have to be all part of Deva's plan if she just got randomly thrown over a mountain by a couple of rude gods. The one wielding her sword would grip it slightly tighter when Deva said that she wouldn't be intimidated, used to having to fight the moment that someone started talking about not being intimidated. "We are not saying that to intimidate you. We just don't want fights starting when there's a bigger threat looming right over the horizon... And this army is built of soldiers, along with the absolute best warriors in the entire land. That was not an attempt to intimidate you, it was a warning. If you can't defeat the both of them, then you won't manage much of a chance against us either..." Orise would say, obviously not knowing that she had actually defeated the two of them all on her own, and instead thinking that the angel had been defeated just as easily as everyone else. "Hmmm... I actually haven't heard of Freyalise... Amazing... I thought I had researched the entire history of our world. It seems that there are hidden secrets to even me. Fascinating, we did not think such a thing was possible with how much I had studied. We will have to learn more about you while you are here..." The dominatrix would say, eyeing Deva up with a completely new interest, stepping around her and looking her body up and down, once again undressing her with her eyes with renewed interest. "When this is all said and done... I'm going to have to really get to know YOU better it seems..." She would purr sensually, looking over Deva more and more, though clearly not out of concern for her health.

"If you think you haven't been able to use all your spells, then go over there and face them again, see what happens. You may be powerful, but we don't want ANYONE here thinking that they could've taken those two on without any assistance. We don't need anyone rushing off on their own against them and getting killed. Every person here is needed, we work TOGETHER not APART. If you're not going to work with us, then we recommend you go over there on your own and have those two deal with you again. If they want to launch you over that mountain again and again and again, then maybe you'll be willing to learn." Orise would explain, becoming deadly serious now that she was talking about this, not wanting to risk anything when it came to their very last chance of survival. "Calm down now Firecracker... If she doesn't WANT the protection, then we can just enjoy her whenever we want. Let her forgo the protections if she really wants to. We'll enjoy every moment..." The woman would smirk, her predatory smile growing wider as she saw that there was someone that she could go after, someone that she wouldn't be punished for going after at that. "Errr... I'd kind of still like that protection... please..." Isa would pipe up, wanting it known that she wasn't going to attack anyone for no reason, and wanting to ensure that she wouldn't be suddenly attacked. Though after she stated that, she'd lean in to Deva, whispering quietly so the bickering members of the army wouldn't hear her. "Good plan, by the way... Without the protection the agent is probably gonna go after you knowing that they won't get in any major trouble. That way they'll probably reveal themselves. The only reason we decided to keep that protection going for now is so that I can watch out for you just in case... That way you've got someone watching your back just in case..." The ice mage would explain, thinking that she had, at the very least, managed to understand Deva's thinking on that one. Then again, she could be completely off, but she at least felt that there was something behind her not wanting that kind of protection.

The captured woman would sit there for a moment when her bindings were removed, seeming unsure of what to do once she was properly free. Then, she'd pull herself up into a more comfortable sitting position, looking around for a few moments, before her hands would shoot between her legs, gripping her cock tightly, a lewd moan escaping her lips as she almost immediately started masturbating. Meanwhile, Masoch's eye would twitch a bit and her smile seemed just a bit more forced as she watched that, turning to Deva. "Funny... even if you HAD agreed to our terms, you'd have just broken them there. Seems we'll be having some fun tonight... GUARD SLUTS! Take our trainee to one of the rooms... AND BIND HER UP! She only gets to do that as a REWARD!" She would shout, the two guards at her side immediately moving to lift up the woman, and if not stopped they'd take her within the large tent. "Welp... this is none of our business... Couldn't do much to stop you anyway. Make sure your ice friend knows that she can't take the first shot... Otherwise I'll be back to haul her away... If you don't end up jerking off and sucking her off for the rest of your life, come to the biggest tent further to the center of the camp. We're having a big meeting there to discuss strategy. Good luck, you'll need it." Orise would say, sheathing her sword and turning her back on the whole scene, not the least bit concerned over what was about to happen to Deva, while Masoch was looking slightly more deranged and excited now, an obvious tent forming in the woman's dress.

"Naughty naughty naughty... You're going to need to be PUNISHED!" She'd lift her hand up and ball it into a fist... and suddenly Deva would feel her spider collar tighten a little bit, not choking her, but feeling more firm, as though the collar were gripping her. And if she looked, she'd see that the spiders weren't actually trying to do that, a few of them trying to pull apart, but some kind of magic holding them together tighter than they intended. "Oooh? Wearing a collar? You're even naughtier than I thought... Now... how to play with you? There's so many options... Hmmmm... I think first thing you need is a firm spanking!" She'd lift her hand up, it starting to glow with magic energy, and she'd move her hand down in a motion that looked like she was slapping the air. But the moment that her hand stopped, Deva would feel a firm hand spank her bottom, even though the woman hadn't even touched Deva, it felt as if her ass had just been spanked. There'd be a sting of pain, if she found a way to check her skin would even be slightly red right after that smack, but that pain would quickly fade into a warm, erotic, submissive pleasure. Something about that felt so right... the pain fading incredibly quickly to be replaced by that pleasure. "Would it surprise you to know that these are my most basic spells? I've had them since I was first hired by the former Queen as a simple maid. But there's nothing quite like the classics when punishing someone for trying to free my little sluts... You've been oh so BAD!" Then there'd be a few more spanks, the arousal and pleasure ramping up slightly, as well as the pain fading away much quicker. If Deva was paying attention, however, she'd feel that each spank was starting to cause some kind of magic to seep into her skin, filling her body with each and every spank. It'd be tough to figure out exactly what that magic was meant to do, but she could certainly feel it slowly, sensually... sliding into her very being, radiating out from her bottom with every wonderful spank...

"Hmph... I hope you know how pointless what you just did was... That little slut is still going to be mine. All you've done is give her a little bit of self pleasure, and made training take even longer. She's still going to be yet another slutty slave for me, she's still going to serve in my army when this is all over, she's still going to cum every night while she sleeps just THINKING about me, and she's still going to love every second of maddening pain and glorious pleasure that she will receive day in and day out. You've done nothing but condemn yourself to the same fate! And it all starts with just a few simple spanks... So try and stop me... because I could use a new toy to break in after this battle. The one you so foolishly tried to free is so close to being done, and I do so enjoy being able to break someone new... Remember when I introduced myself as 'Mistress'? I hope that you get used to calling me that, as soon that's the only name you'll come up with whenever you think of me." Masoch would say, somehow managing to sound both lustful and unhinged as she talked about taking the angel, excited by the prospect of having a new slave, yet at the same time growing rather manic from someone daring to defy her like Deva had just done. Couple all of that with the fact that she knew that she wouldn't get in too much trouble, it made the dominating woman more and more happy to speed up just a little bit with her phantom spanking, testing Deva to see what kind of reaction that might get out of her.

"Oh don't be mistaken Isa, the godesses of fire and ice we saw before were commonly known but passive, not actively worshipped by many.entire nations fear the strength of these two, they are quite powerful." Deva explained why there could be a difference in strength between deities, though at the same time she didn't quite allude to how well she could deal with the two. If Fortem had been a real god, he could have overcome her spell and forced her to either use up more power than she planned to use on anything but the agent, or outright force her retreat. Then agian, some of that strength came from a conviction of defending this world, so she had little to worry.

"Bah. You meditate for a few centuries and everyone forgets all about you." Deva mused, hoping the actual Freyalise didn't hear of her blatantly borrowing her name. The last thing she needed was a disgruntled elf-mage with the power of two and a half forests after her... Deva was distracted from this thought by another as Masoch patrolled around her. "Hmph. I've used up enough defensive magic for a day. Maybe I'll try attacking again tomorrow, coincidentially together with the rest of you. Don't try to get in my way." She huffed, all Tsundere-elf like.

Deva silently chuckled at Isa. Truthfully, there were three parts to her rejecting the protection, excluding an innate suspicion of all sorts of agreements she didn't make herself.
For one, Isa was half right but Deva actually wanted to.. activley interview people and Masoch, as either a primary target for the agent, or perhaps the last target due to her power, would make for a great target. For two, Deva agreed with Isa's reasoning. For three.. the same reason she had attacked Fortem. Even with the fate of the world in danger, she would not suffer a tyrant over others. Even a kinky one.
"Alright Isa, be a dear and sit on on the meeting for me, I'll contact you later. Feel free to do the whole marching with the army stuff if you dun hear of me, might be busy. Try not to get punched by Fortem. You know how reincarnation magic is" Deva mused, not seeming concerned about Masoch herself despite the crimson womans warning. Of course, unlike a druids limited and random reincarnation magic, she could fully revive someone if most of their body was still intact.

"Interesting. Is that telekinesis or something better." Deva mused, fallingi nto her old observant habits when she noticed the tightness of the collar. Deva yelped for a moment at the sudden spank. "Mieep! Tzk.. you dare? Of course it's just basic spells and cantrips. Though I never thought there was actual domination magic. Either way. I am not your toy, filthy human." She growled at the spanking, allowing herself to stare at Masoch's growing.. interest in her for a moment, before retaliating, folding her hands together, seeming to try and focus.. not that she was thinking about powerful spells, she was pondering -which- of her spells seemed natural enough to put up a fight as a druidess. She didn't want to win, she didn't even need to push Masoch, she just needed to look powerful enough to get a lot of.. personal attention. For research purposes.
She decided a major conjure object would do, rising her hand, skipping most of the spells incantatation and.. dropping a literal tree on Masoch, if she didn't dodge swiftly.. which wasn't all that hard, this magic was never ment to be used for offense in this way. "Way too little plantmatter in this place to fight proper." She complained, though then gasped with the continued spanks. She wasn't a big masochist, but.. well, a little bit of that had flown into her training as slave in the past, so she couldn't help a flush on her cheeks.
Well, she totally -could-, those weren't even her real cheeks, but illusions worked better when she let them dynamically respond to her actions, breathing, eye movement, all these things her disguises did too.. as they did for such responses.

"Pointless you say? I stood up to someone that annoyed me were everyone else was afraid, that's hardly pointless." She argued. "Cease your foolish spellcasting now or I'll have to crush you. It was an amusing prank at first." Was Masoch trying to buy time for her magic to take effect now? Either way, Deva shifted slightly after the spankings.. "Tzkk. You sure are confident you can even win this." She chuckled, Deciding to create several vines with more conjuration magic, actually using up about ten times the amount of magic a druid would have to to do this.. she'd not be using these spells again today. Still, creating vines, then controlling them with her animate rope spell she could look as if she could use at least mid-tier druid magic with relative ease, which, considering the high power of magic in her world might well make her seem like one of the strongest nature magic users in this world.. which was all she wanted to look like, right now.
"Ahnnn'!" Though, if the binding vines didn't do the trick on their own, Deva would gasp eve so softly, clenching one hand into a fist. "And by this I mean both the war and this fight. I'm not a random hero you know. You think your actions have no consequences? You think you can enslave the world?" If not Masoch going into combat, then certainly a tree randomly dropping had made sure to clear the area of anyone too close. Now was a good opportunity to try and see if Masoch was influenced by an agent, if she was content with this world or wanted more. She also took a moment of her 'fight' to check her bottom.. so this wasn't just in her mind.. Fascinating what kind of magic she found, traveling through different stories. It was definitly because of that, that she was curious, her body posture shifting ever so slightly, keeping her bottom presented as submissive instincts took over with the odd warmth radiating from the spanking. "Now that I prepared a few plants, time to get serious." She decided to threaten, lifting her hands, albeit in a way that also pushed out her chest.. a part of her enjoying showing off for an excited dom, not quite up to the point of seducing her, but still. However, rather than unleash whatever high powered druid magic she needed to come up with, she said: "Haah.. haah.. wait.. you're lying. This is not a simple spell at all, there's something else.. you might be able to fool the humans with your high and mighty approach, but I'm not so easily tricked!" having waited a few moments after actually realizing that on purpose. It felt not like a few low grade spells, but one mid to high grade spell, or perhaps a lot of weak spells working together? She felt .. something.. flowing into her.. Still, in a way this felt like the pretend-fight with Fortem and Praesidia, with her more focused on putting up a convincing show. Yes. This was all this was. "H.. how dare a human like you lust after my eternal beauty!" She shouted, as if flustered, her hand touching her chest in an elegant and subtly provocative manner, resting right between her breasts as she stood there, defiantly.

"Really? They get that kind of power even though they're not technically gods yet? Would've expected that it would at least not work until they were actually gods before they got power just from people believing in them." Isa would observe, not exactly an expert in how gods and goddesses were meant to work, even when she had the powers of the frost goddess it didn't help her understanding of the entire process and rules of being one. "We do not care whether or not you have been forgotten. Right now you can help us, or be destroyed with the rest of us. You do whatever you want, we'll continue with our plans. Long as you don't get in the way, then we won't have a problem with you." Orise would say, seemingly not threatened by any seemingly powerful mages, not intimidated by Masoch or by the supposed dryad that had just entered the camp. "Hmph... Either way, we will not be getting in your way, unless you try to stop us from cutting the two of them down to size. We figure you're not exactly going to be helping the two of them considering what just happened, but you never know. We won't be in your way if you won't be in ours. If you don't plan on properly working together, then know that you won't be having any of our protection from any of us just for being around. In other words, I hope you can handle Masoch on your own. She's been rather bored all this time and has taken to causing trouble around the camp." The woman would shrug, figuring that this was the perfect answer for how pent up Masoch had been getting, without breaking any rules and without having to sacrifice any good soldiers just to keep the Queen of Agony from leaving their alliance.

Isa would give a confident smile and nod to Deva when asked to sit in on the meeting, a bit nervous about leaving the angel with the weird mage queen right after she had been thrown over a mountain, but she had confidence that she could handle the situation. "Sure thing! We'll let you know if we figure out anything important! Just uh... please be careful... you just got thrown over a mountain after all... See you when the meeting's done, hopefully!" She would say, giving a few more worried looks at Deva before walking off after Orise, knowing that Deva would be able to handle things, especially since she still had the Tome and had likely had some way out if things started going poorly.

"Telekinesis? You think someone as powerful as I would stoop to something so low? No, darling, my magic is the pure power of domination. You show your submission with that collar... I can simply WIELD it. All the heroes they send, all the mighty warriors and brilliant mages... they all hold submission inside them, unguided and yearning. All I do is... give that submission something to be channeled towards. Just as I will do to you..." The woman would gloat, not knowing that Deva's submission had already been guided somewhere, that it wasn't running amok inside her like it must've been with the others that the mage had likely faced. "You are not my toy? Hah! EVERYONE is my toy! You, your friend you brought, the woman you 'freed' and that insufferable warrior, you are my toys., it's just that some toys need to be broken in before I can start playing with them. I live in a world full of toys created for nothing more than my amusement, and as I tell the heroes whenever they try to stop me, if I was not meant to toy with this entire world, then why have the gods still done NOTHING to stop me." Masoch would gloat, using the lack of divine intervention to justify her actions. "Now then... I think that it's high time for me to properly show you that you are in MY sphere of influence, and that in turn means that you are exactly what I said you were, MY toy." She'd take a few steps away from Deva to put a small distance between the two of them. Then Deva would feel the spider collar tighten a bit, before it began pulling at her as though it were attached to a leash, pulling the angel forward. It was as though there were some kind of invisible leash on her collar, tugging at it insistently, not exactly uncomfortable, but just pulling enough to show control. However, if Deva started to pull against the leash, she'd feel the tugging growing a bit stronger, working to pull the angel closer and closer to the mage as she stood with a confident, just slightly crazed smile. "Come over here, my little slut. You belong to ME. And I will enjoy... Every. Single. Minute."

The woman stood and chuckled a little when she saw Deva reacting to her spanking, smirking a bit as she continued her telekinetic spanks, picking up speed just a little bit if the angel wasn't willingly moving with the 'leash tug' she had just been using. "Pointless because that little 'heroine' is still going to be sucking her own cock and praising my name for the PRIVILEGE of being able to serve at my feet. And now, you'll be joining her, a cute little slave for me to play with whenever I want. So not only has nothing changed, but now you've signed yourself up for the same fate!" Masoch would chuckle for a moment before lifting up one of her hands, and pinching her fingers together, and suddenly Deva would feel as though one of her nipples was being tightly pinched by a pair of soft and dexterous fingers. The woman would slide her fingers together, making it feel like those phantom fingers were toying with her nipple, underneath her illusions and under her clothing, and once again if Deva took the time to check she'd see her body moving and reacting as though the things that the mage was doing were physically happening. "I'm confident because I've heard all this time and time again. That you have the power that is gonna stop me, that some great heroine was going to cut me down to size. Yet every single time they end up jerking themselves off just in the hopes of pleasing me. I'll admit that you're prettier than they were, in a sort of 'wild untouched beauty' kind of way... But just like all of them, I'll pull the slave in you out no matter what it takes." And the magic would continue to flow into Deva with every action that the mage did, filling her with some kind of energy, which at least part of its effects would reveal themselves. Something about the mage's lustful, covetous look would feel... more beautiful to Deva, as though that expression was a very high compliment. Not only that, but the phantom sensations would feel far more... welcome. If they had already felt good, they would start to feel even better, as though Deva's skin was more sensitive to the phantom touching. However... there'd be something else, some kind of very slight burning sensation in between her legs, not exactly painful, but something that might feel a bit uncomfortable if she focused on it over the pleasure coming from the spanking and from her nipples being pinched.

Though when those vines started moving towards her, Masoch would raise and eyebrow for a moment before chuckling to herself and lifting her hand, snapping her fingers rather loudly, keeping calm despite the magic that the angel was showing. Her snap would ring out for a few moments before a few people would rush out of Masoch's tent, dressed in armor that left them clothed everywhere EXCEPT where people would normally wear clothing to cover. Their breasts were revealed, as well as their hard, throbbing cocks as they walked over, grabbing and pulling vines away, all of them having surprising strength compared to what their figures might show. "Aren't you cute... I'd invite you to my kingdom to show you just how much of the world I've already enslaved. Trust me, I don't THINK I can go around and enslave the entire world, I KNOW that I can enslave the entire world. The only thing that might stand in my way are the two waiting over those mountains. Once they're gone... Oh this world will be mine... The only reason I don't enslave everyone here is because they are useful to me, and fighting them would not help this situation." She further explained, still toying with Deva's body from a distance. And that same intense warmth would focus in between Deva's legs, something other than arousal, something that would be a bit difficult to place. Masoch would step closer and closer to Deva whether the angel let herself get pulled or not, moving in close and looking Deva's body up and down, taking much longer as she stared over the angel's breasts and ass. "Oh my... I do lust after your eternal beauty... Of course... we do need a few adjustments for you to properly fit in with all my slaves. I have to remodel you all just a little bit to look more like your Mistress... You'll thank me for that later." She would explain, the tent in her dress throbbing a bit when she said that, purring lustfully before she gave one more smile. "Bah... Enough dressing to appease the fools around here! If I have to restrain myself around them, I'm at least going to walk in my full glory!" The woman would take a moment to throw her black dress off, getting out of it rather quickly to reveal her naked form, pale, unblemished skin all across her body, fit and thing, large breasts, and right between her legs was a hard, long, throbbing cock already dripping with precum. With that she would smile again, grabbing Deva's ass for real this time as she seemed still so confident that there was nothing that the angel would be able to do to truly stop her.

Deva decided against explaining the concept of becoming a deity to Isa.. in part because she had only half understood it when it happened to her anyway. Plus, there were potentially different rules for different worlds as well there. A god in a world with little faith could be weaker than Fortem, whom many had feared if not worshipped already when Deva fought him... the ice and fire godesses were good examples. Most just accepted them as parts of nature, one of the reasons, Deva theorized that Isa had gotten away unscathed from using a divine level of power with no preparation. The first time Deva had been borrowed Divine power, in a plot to prepare her for her future fate as a deity by Morwel, she had almost lost herself at first.
Deva was actually fine with Orise more or less ignoring her.. for all the angel knew, this crimson guard woman could already be affected by the agent.
"Yes I have been!" Deva enthused, taking her thrown over a mountain state less as a thing of concern and more a curious fact that she wanted to mention to people.

"Fascinating. Quite a wild kind of magic." Deva mused, unable to help herself despite the disguise. That there was such a kind of magic.. well, there was magic based on emotions, namely Xarkanas fear-magic came to mind, so this wasn't all too shocking. In her world, this would be a specialized form of enchantment-magic, Deva theorized. "But why though. That's the thing I never understand. Why do you need to break 'everyone' after a half dozen bodies or so you run out of even the kinkiest sex positions to do, so whats it even for, a sense of completion, are you trying to prove something?" Again a little out of character, but Deva was curious. Also, rather certain this wasn't the agent.. or rather, if she was, Deva would figure that out soon by the answers given anyway. "You know, I think most people that try to conquer the world do so because they are afraid, deep down, afraid that if something is not under their control, that's a danger to them... then again, listening to you, perhaps you do it just because you can, because you get off on it." Deva pointed out.

Deva chuckled slightly at the tugging, letting herself be pulled after a brief moment of resistance. "Gotta respect complicated magic used to do what a simple telekinesis spell could do. I mean you are kinky if a bit out there perhaps. Hrmnn.." Deva mused, though it added in a mewl at the sudden pinching, ending in a soft moaning with closed eyes from the angel... well, one closed eye from her elfish disguise. "Hanhh..."
Deva sighed out and shifted under the lewd mages touch,.. this was.. pleasant, most certainly, though, what was this burning sensation? What a strange form of magic.. well, considering its location, Deva couldn't exactly check, without some emberassing revelations. "Interesting, so thats it's limits." As expected, just like enchantment magic Masochs spells had their weakpoint in that they could only affect those with minds to cast upon, Deva mused inwardly as she watched Masochs guards take care of the vine-attack. That would be true for mages like Tabitha as well of course, but Tabitha likely had some sort of curse to deal with a metal golem coming at her.

Then again, Deva didn't quite have to defeat Masoch yet, first she had to figure out this unusual hot feeling. She knew her body well enough from.. various exploits, she was certainly not aroused.. well she was, but that wasn't it.. She felt Masoch grab her bottom and then titled her her head, asking a calm.. "Wait, was that it?" With furrowed brows. "I mean you're hot and all that, but I expected you'd make me climax helplessly and drag me to your tent in ropes or whatnot, you just want to grope me righ here?" Deva crossed her arms. "Well, you mostly shooed potential witnesses away. I guess this will have to do. Dismiss illusion." A glimmering of energy engulfed Deva briefly, turning her back into her usual angelic form, one hand grabbing Masoch.. literally by the balls as the dominatrix grabbed the angels bottom. Not that it was a painful grab, almost sensual.. but it was both a lewd touch and a threat. "You know it's weird. I've come to face so many going on how they've faced so many... I wonder if there's a better word for that. No, wait. Better question. Do you think I do or do not know an impotence curse so potent no one can lift it." Deva mused. Of course a bluff. Wouldn't use such cruel magic!

"First of all, you ought to respect the property of others. Not that I'm not on the market, but you have to be more impressive than my current mistress. Second of all, nice foreplay, kinky soldiers, but turn it up a notch if you want to get me interested, pineapple. That's right, currently you're only on pineapple level. I like them, it's arousing how you look at me,... but too much hurts my tummy." Deva mused, withdrawing her hand after that. She didn't like threatening people, so she stopped. "You have no chance to win the coming fight right now. I've reason to believe that this army has been infiltrated by an agent of these two. Must have arrived recently, relatively unknown, but still offering advice, perhaps power to those asking for it." There was still a fair chance Masoch was the agent of course, Tabitha had been native to her world before she had been recruited by the cloaked one as well after all. However going by Masochs speech pattern and abilities that didn't seem as likely.. not that she was to be trifled with, but compared to Tabitha or Mortema she seemed harmless, .. then again, Tabitha had seemed harmless... Well, this would either confirm Masoch as the agent or point Deva in the right direction.
Well, if she didn't get.. sidetracked with Masoch. The smooth shemale beauty was distracting to a primal part of Devas and her touch had certainly felt good..
Deva hesitated for a moment. Perhaps this one would need motivation though. She fished in her poket, pulling out the cup of tea she had aquired from Serp a while ago. "Listen, perhaps we got off on the wrong foot, you started spanking me about, I grabbed you in an uncouth manner. Let's start over on a cupper. Say hello cup. Animate Object." Deva suggested, the little tea-cup wiggling enthusiastically, clearly wanting to be filled up.. That Deva had also secretly animated Masochs dress by her feet and the agony queens very tent she kept hidden for now. Suprisingly, animated objects were quite good at camouflaging as.. normal objects until commanded otherwise. "I'm Deva, I can help you, though I'd like if you freed the one I saw earlier." Deva fished in her poket, admittedly missing the little spiderling briefly as she searched. she -thought- she had tea-herbs in there somewhere..
On closer examination, the angelblood was clearly aroused to a moderate degree by Masochs actions so far, a hint of her nipples tenting at her white dress and her posture quite clearly indicating subtly subservient arousal... though that didn't stop her from chatting almost casually it seemed, though after failing to find any tea-herbs her hand instead wandered to cup between her legs, feeling the mixture of arousal and unusual heat, distracted for a moment.

"We wouldn't call it wild... My magic is wonderfully refined in ways that you likely don't understand. Or maybe you do, that would be far more enjoyable to see, a proper slave that can understand the inner workings of my power. Honestly, the mages we toy with barely comprehend any of it, they don't even know how to help me with it. It's so difficult to have to handle all these enslavings by myself, but we're working on fixing that. You'd be quite useful if you're actually that smart..." Masoch would say, partially speaking to herself, as well as revealing what it was that she wanted out of Deva. She wasn't just looking for another toy, she was looking for someone that would be able to make her goals of conquest more efficient. Sure she could conquer a city without any issues, but then having to have the conquered populace brought to her one by one was always such a hassle. If she had some way to further spread her power, there would be so much more time in her day for fun, and her chances of taking over the entire world would grow by an incredible amount. "Why? You ask why? We simply have to ask something in turn, why not? What reason do we have for NOT taking over the world? My reason for doing so, it's fun. It's an enjoyable things to do, and I DESERVE this entire world after what it did to me. So it will be MINE. We will enjoy every luxury owed to us, and when it's all said and done and I die, it will be with a smile on my face knowing that this all belongs to me." She would explain, looking slightly excited and crazed at the idea of taking everything for herself, making it clear that a good deal of her motivation was simply greed, though some if it seemed to also be revenge. "The only thing that we fear is waiting over those mountains. I have yet to fear anything since I obtained this power so many years ago. Fear is not what makes me conquer, fear makes me agree to work with even my greatest enemies to stomp some would be gods into the ground." She gloated confidently, only having felt fear when she realized that both her and her armies were dwarfed in comparison to the power of Fortem and Praesidia. That scared her, knowing that there was no way that she would be able to come out victorious only on her own, but rather than run and hide it simply made her agree to work with the gigantic alliance that had been built to stop the two of them.

"Telekinesis is mundane, something that any peasant with a bit of magical power can figure out... My methods pull at the submission seated deep within ever creature. It seems so much more complicated at first, but I promise that it's actually more versatile than telekinesis. Sure, I may be restricted to living things, but I am NOT limited by their size, power, abilities, so long as their is that wonderful unguided submission deep within them, then I can affect them however I wish... All things submit to something, and as such, all things WILL submit to me." Masoch would gloat, giving some insight on how her power worked some more, and the amount of power that she could work against. But because the vines weren't particularly sentient, she needed her soldiers there to keep them at bay, figuring that she had the resources so she might as well use them. "There's so much more to this, we can do many different things if you give us the time. But do go on, you're probably right. These powers are just the few things that you've seen, ignore anything else and let it keep going." The mage would taunt, that slight burning sensation increasing just a little bit, feeling a little uncomfortable, the only thing making it harder to focus on being the phantom molestations that the mage would keep up, using it to try and keep Deva from focusing too hard on what the magic would be doing to her. Plus, the magic energy that started flowing into Deva would make her want to pay attention to the particular details of the magic, perhaps it would be better for her to focus on the things in front of her rather than just guessing at the powers that were affecting her right now.

Masoch would actually grin like a cat that had just caught its prey when Deva asked if all she was going to do was grope her, chuckling another slightly insane chuckle at the angel asking her if that was her only plan. "You haven't seen anything yet..." Suddenly, the hand that was gripping Deva's bottom would start to glow a deep silver, and she'd feel a large surge of magic shoot through her body, increasing any of the pleasure that she was feeling quite a bit, and while the burning sensation between her legs would get far stronger... somehow it would feel LESS uncomfortable, LESS annoying. It would feel rather strange, as she could factually tell that the sensation was one of burning, but she wouldn't be able to feel any of the pain or discomfort that one might associate with those kinds of feelings. Though once Deva revealed her proper form, dismissing the illusion, suddenly Masoch's eyes would go wide with surprise, an angel being the very last thing that she expected to run into. Her cock would still throb eagerly when the angel gripped her balls, the mage letting out a soft moan before focusing back on the angel. "Ooooh! An excellent threat! Now those are some fangs... Didn't think that I was going to run into an angel here... Who sent you? God of Justice, Goddess of Harvest? Last I checked Sylva didn't work with angels... Hmmm... Oh and uh... Your threat is quite good, but you didn't think this through as well as you should've. See, you gripped the only part of me where I can't properly control how much magic I exude..." The mage would say with a slightly amused expression, as even stronger magical energy would flow out of the dominatrix's balls, shooting straight into Deva's hand, and as such also flowing through her body even more. "Oh don't worry about it, We don't need to go getting an angel angrier at me, the energy is relatively harmless so long as I don't do anything with it. My apologies, as I said I can't really control the exuding magic from there... You'd be surprised how few people believe me when I say that my dick is pure magic." The mage would joke, hoping to lighten up the situation now that she knew that Deva was an angel, and said angel was gripping a rather obvious weakpoint on the woman.

"An agent of those two in here? We haven't noticed anyone, then again this is a rather large army so it's possible that someone joined up without us noticing." She would say, smiling a bit when Deva released her, not looking as deranged once she knew there was some actual danger involved with their meeting. Though, when Deva animated her teacup and the clothing, the mage would look down at her discarded clothing and raise an eyebrow, looking back at the angel for a moment before chuckling. "Hello there cup... And you're right, we did indeed start off on the wrong foot. I don't think I'll be releasing my slave, spoils of war after all... But I can give you a little gift, to... make up... for how rude I've been..." Her entire form would begin to glow silver, and Deva would feel every little bit of magical energy that had been pushed into her body suddenly shoot down between her legs. Suddenly the intense burning would be mixed in with intense pleasure as Deva could feel the magic starting to change her body, she would feel her clit slowly start to elongate, growing thicker and longer... slowly morphing into a long, hard cock just an inch or so shorter than Masoch's. Meanwhile, her slit would seal up, being replaced by a full, heavy set of balls, the mage smirking lustfully as the changes overtook Deva's body. By the end of it, she'd feel a hard, throbbing cock between her legs and a rush of hormones and arousal, a desperate need to cum filling her now that she had a brand new organ to cum with. Masoch would look down between Deva's legs, and as if on cue she would feel her cock throbbing just from the mage's stare. Something about the mage would seem even more arousing, more beautiful, and thoughts would start to invade Deva's head of being able to use her brand new cock on not just Masoch, but on Orise and Isa as well, it would feel so nice to bend one of them over and just... suddenly Masoch would start talking to her again, still looking quite amused, though increasingly aroused now that the angel had gone through her transformation. "Now before you go getting all upset with me... This IS a gift. IF I were to give you one of my staffs from inside, you'd be able to switch back and forth at will. Though you'll find yourself VERY horny whenever you change. I've given you the gift of being able to decide which end of pleasure you wish to take. Though... that's only if I allow you to take one of my staffs... I might not want that. Ah, but do you even WANT to change back now? I'm sure the thoughts are already filling your brain. That hot little ice mage you came with, imagine how nice she would look splattered in your hot semen, or perhaps that little knight, so proud but so rude, maybe you'd want to bend her over and teach her a lesson, hmm? I'd even help you... only if you let me watch of course. I figure I'd much prefer you give me a show than me risk fighting you then... How's that sound?" The woman would ask, more and more thoughts of doing just what she described filling the angel's brain... it would feel so good to indulge, to try out her new cock, to feel warm lips wrapped around it, to thrust it deep into her companion's pussy... it all sounded so tempting when Masoch described it like that. But otherwise, the mage would stand there, smirking, apparently not doing anything about the animated clothing, or stopping Deva from searching through her pockets.

"Inner workings? What's there about inner workings?" Deva mused. What she ment was of course that, knowing one type of emotional magic from her fight against Xarkana, she could make conclusions for the nature and makings of another. It was not that complex just like elemental magic was not complex once you had seen it a few times. "You know. Tyrants can be made to fear." She remarked in addition, ominously, now that her disguise was dropped.

"Oh I expect you can do more things with such a type of magic, never seen it's particularity, it makes me curious." Xarkana, admittedly, the greatest Dreadwitch of all time, could unleash ones worst nightmares against oneself. what did that translate into in domination-magic?
Deva was naturally prone to observing what she was dealing with so that particular aspect of magic worked well on her.. taking it in was a necessary state of overcoming it of course, after all. And it was all quite fascinating!
Deva observed the silvery glow. Silver, was a color she quite commonly associated with purifiying magic, normally. "Haaah.. a kinky influx of magic, is that the direct color of you using it?" This burning sensation.. was she trying to brand Deva? Transform her? Either way, Deva had to dismiss the illusion just to learn more about what was happening to her.. one downside of illusions was that they made observing herself tricky sometimes.

"Oh, thanks, I was pondering on something that'd keep you from using your magic so we could chit chat, shame I miscalculated." The risks of new magic. Deva didn't quite know how it was.. channeled. Deva released her hand grip reflexively earlier, shaking it slightly, as if she had taken an electric jolt, looking at it. "Fascinating." She then peered over to Masoch. "Also, your senses are keener than you let on." She had misjudged Masoch if the mage instantly noticed the magic affecting her dress as well. Either it had magic woven into it, or She was more cautious than she let on. But again it didn't seem like Masoch was the agent.. if dangerous in her own right. Deva looked at the silvery glow all of a sudden. "What the.. woah.. so it is cock growing maa.. haaah.." Deva gasped at the sudden sensation of herself changing, ironically, not the first time, some of her slaves had had peculiar ..tastes though the first time unwillingly and she felt quite.. large. With her dress designed comfortable but somewhat form fitting it showed a thick outline in response to Masochs magic. Her shaft throbbed under the mages gaze and her head spunn a little, trying to adjust to the sensations.
Deva slightly lipped her licks, but her mind wasn't overwhelmed trying to adjust as new desires filled it.. though the added idea of pumping into Isa's sweet pussy.. she was propably quite tight.. a little cold?
Deva was distracted by Masoch speaking up, the angel exhaling heavily. "Sounds like a kinky idea indeed." Deva groaned, cupping the tent in her dress. "Haaah... haaah.." It would be a shame not having a chance to use this thing. It was definitly different from transforming herself.. how? Same influx of hormones, no? Well, her balls hung full and heavy, her shaft throbbing, oozing just a hint of precum with the unusual arousal. One hand slipping into her dress, cupping the heavy set of smooth balls the magic had gotten her, feeling them pulse with warmth and fill her with instinctual desires. "Hmnn want to fuck..." She groaned and exhaled, as heavy as her new cock was hanging between her legs. She had to cum once, and then she could focus on other things.. her hand wandered to stroke along her shaft with a soft groan, though then, perhaps suprisingly, she added: "And you should still let that girl I saw earlier go if you don't want to fight me. Infact if this.. hmnn.. interesting cock-growing and influencing people to indulge with it is what you consider more powerful versions of your magic, you haven't scratched the surface. In magic, and slaves, you go for quantity, not quality." Deva mused, exhaling heavily... and fading away.

"As much as I admire your whole turning people into a fuckpet army stick." Another Deva, this one still female by all apperances, mused. "You lack refinement. Like, are those helmets constantly whispering each individuals deepest desires intermixed with hidden messages of servitude, eroding their souls until they're just tools of your will?
Those armors, are they sentient symbiotes that bond to their hosts, constantly teasing them to full erection, also able to heal and restore them as they get injured? If you want an army of undying lustslaves you got to put some thought into it. But you haven't. If you had, you'd not be afraid of mere power like Fortem wields it."
She shook her head. "Plus, one like you, I was hoping you'd know who goes in and out of this place, a kinky arousing distraction, but nothing more than a dream now." Deva folded her hands. "Forsake this world as a whole and treat every slave like a piece of art to finely craft over weeks, months, years. There's nothing wrong with making them all the same if that's what you're all into, but do it right. If I remove their helmets, will they all be beautifully the same? If yes, good on you. Oh, and,.. treat each of your spells like one of your slaves and maybe, one day, you will reach a power that can compare to mine. You're pretty, you're keen, you're smart, but you think so small, like the bird that never learned to fly out of it's tiny secluded valley. You have an impressive form of magic, but your application is so basic. Unlike for example fear-emotion based magic which combines illusion and necromantic magic, you could combine evocation, transformation and enchantment, but all you do is a few basic tricks curious mage-students in their colleges try in their second semestre." Deva sighed, brushing her hair back slightly. "Your magic is quite a bit more powerful than these tricks of course, but it's far from using its full potential, I guess no one ever forced you to do more, it's painful to see so much squandered potential. Now how did you do it... " This, like the moment when she theorized in the ship and with Serp was when Deva showed her actual power. Her fingers moved too fast to perfectly follow with the naked eye, her eyes looking off far in the distance. "That silver energy had to be the pure strength of your very soul, judging by it's hue. Good quality magic. So what you did was something like this." She raised her hand, e , silvery lines extending to all the armored guards.

"HRAAAAAAH!" Deva shouted, raising her hand, shaking and pulsating in energy, both light and dark as it cascaded along the leashes. "Let's.. haah.. call this.. Domination magic: Take the reins!" All of the guards suddenly, severed from Masoch, stood at attention, each removing their helmets, saluting with their right hand on their chest, over their heart, their head slightly bowed. "Domination magic:" Deva intonated, folding her hands in a complex pattern with light sparking in between them. "All for one." As she said this, all of the guards moaned out slightly.. while the flush on Deva's cheeks faded away. She had been fully affected by Masochs magic up until her Morphea had triggered on the moer powerful transformation spell upon her after all. Deva shifted her signs inwardly, twirling her arms dramatically and adding: "Domination magic: One for all!" She then closed her eyes, one of the guards speaking up. "I hope these aren't things you already knew, else I'd be quite emberassed. I've linked their feelings and senses together. One will take harm, it will instead be dispersed among them all. They try to take control of one, it will instead be shared among one another and have little effect on the individual. Do it right and even a martial monster like Fortem might need to put in some effort just for your footsoldiers." "It works only while we are standing very close together, but by mastering this spell, you could make an entire kingdom connected.. but never an entire world. You can either rule the world, or become the greatest dominator the world has ever seen." "Then again.. as weak as you are. You're not going to conquer this world anyway. Fortem alone could tear your empire apart propably and he's the more patient one." Deva opened her eyes again. "But, just because I really like you and think your kind of insanity is really cute if guided right, let me show you what your magic is truly capable off. You've let me observe it for quite a while.. mistake against a mage of my calibre, but these slaves have seen it longer. Let's see what they can cast. Whats that, they have no magic potential, you checked? True.. most people lack the focus or innate capacity for magic.. but each one of them... has a single.. drop."

"Domination magic! Synchronized spellcasting" Deva shouted out enthusiastically and with a vibration of power, each of the armored girls smiling, folding their hands, each of them creating a different magical sign, some holding their arms far apart with a faint flarring of air in between, others staring at Masoch through fingers pointing at her as if concentrating.
"A second of worship, a day of love." Masoch felt herself hit by overwhelming magic. Sure.. it was Deva that did the main casting. But channeling, through all of her slaves, were feelings of longing and desire. Each of them kneeling, loving, worshipping, in all the most wonderful ways Masoch could imagine.. jerking and sucking and covering themselfs in cum, for her, covering her.
"Play with us more mistress!" "Let us cum for you." "Watch the beautiful cock you gave me mistress, please!" "We're all yours!" It was quite the enjoyable time. They fucked for hours. Eagerly. Relentlessly, silencing Masochs protest with more eager obediance.
Only a long while later, did the illusion fade away. Masochs slaves panting and looking disoriented. Deva a little pale, also catching her breath.. had no time at all passed during those wonderful hours. "Heh. Me and my showing off.. ugh.. Vertigo. bad bad. That's what I get for trying magic I'm no good with." She stumbled slightly. "That wasn't even four hours I think. Old showoff angel.. ugh... " She rubbed her temples, having lost control of Masochs slaves and the improvised magic at the end. Sitting down, right shere she stood, and sending out her cup to get her a sip of water. "Pfewww. But I couldn't resist. Domination magic seemed so interesting. Heh, I wonder if theres submission magic.. nah.. I can please without magic. most the time. Owww this is like an ice-cream headache for magic." She rubbed her temples. "By perfectly coordinating, lesser spellcasters can create great magical rituals Your magic should be able to make manifest the desires and fetishes of everyone you face.. it was easy for me with your slaves as focus and thaumatric amplifier because they knew you. Frankly, a certain mayor I've seen had a better grasp of it without ever having been a spellcaster, admittedly with some.. assistance. But ultimately, you have the opposite problem of most people I fought, you have a lot of control, but only use it to do the most simple things very good. Let me guess, despite you wanting to conquer the world you've tried enslaving people one by one? If you had true control over your magic, you could simply develop a spell to enslave magic.. but if you learn enough to truly control your magic you wont want to enslave your magic.. propably search out a selected few to be yours tops... oh right!"

Deva mused, almost casually. "The main reason you can't properly acess your magic is that something in your mind is broken. Someone messed with you? You said something earlier. Anyway." Deva reached out, Masochs dress restraining her patient with uneering accuracy with her gripping She began intonating, her hand glowing in pure warmth. "Focus on all the pain, all this twisted desire. Every single moment of it. Fight the spell if you want. Don't fight it. It matters not. I'm going to make whole again what once was. The dream filled girl you used to be. You're different from Tina so this will be a lot more effort. Was it something your first mistress did to you before you overthrew her? It wont matter to you anymore. You are far, far stronger than you know. As is your magic." As Deva continued, several small spheres of light appeared behind Masochs head, pulsing in time with her heartbeat and glowing in a warming light.
"It matters not. Pain. Suffering. Misery. They are a part of who we are, who we become, but our lifes are too short, too precious, to waste them being controlled by these blights. The full moon hidden in the half moons shadow. The ancient maiden smiles as the mirror teasingly hides her beauty. The seven sons of the week brush away the mistakes pain" By now the glowing spheres had grown in intensity and began rotating ever so slightly, Deva's eyes glowing intensely as her hands held onto Masochs temples with an intensity that should cause pain, but did the opposite. Masoch felt herself calm. Relaxed. A clarity filling her as it never had before, as if she had never realized how tired she had been before now. "As the snake sheds it's skin, as the old leafes fall and make way for new green ones, so your heart and body grows and mends. Cut a trees branches and it will just grow stronger. Undo those cuts that go to deep, no longer shall your growth be stunted. Branch out and blossom, break free of your shell. By my will, be Undone! " The spheres lit up, blasting into the Queen of Agony with a powerful impact while Masoch felt... completely recovered, even ignoring the prior lustful orgy-magic, all fatigue and pain, all burning obsession was wiped away. The spell could even break many mental control effects.. though, if Masoch was naturally into enslaving the world, it wouldn't exactly change anything about her. Deva was aware of this, that she could potentially unleash a dangerous dominatrix on this world, now unhindered by any shortcomings.. but she believed, always believed in the better of people.

Deva exhaled, requesting: "Pillows please, tomey.." Before falling backwards, now seeming genuinly exhausted using her powerful spells earlier, innovating new domination magic after seeing it only a few times and now using this healing spell. "Greater Restoration is an instant fix for almost all problems from hangovers to insanity, but costs a bit of my own lifeforce. Terrible combat potential if you ask me. Great for other things. Like.. asking.. Hey.. Masoch, you alright? You know, your soldiers can propably patroul this place without anyone trying to stop or question them. I want to see if anyone did sneak in. Someone that seemes just subtly out of place. No one would just volunteer to fight these two without a bit of a cause behind them, normally. They're propably coming for me soon I mean.. the amount of power I expanded here wouldn't be unnoticed by anyone with keen senses for magic." Deva mused, resting heavy on available pillows. "I like making up cool names for spells." She whisperingly admitted.
Well, perhaps she could do a simple grade 1 spell while recovering... Message.:
Isaaaa this is your conscience, give Deva more cupcakes. Just kidding, Message spell, how's the meeting going, sorry for leaving you with the more troublesome thing. Masoch isn't so bad once you get to know her. I think. Have to wait for the results of a little spell to fully show. Anyway. She's definitly not the agent, nor does she know of anyone entering recently. Perhaps I can get Masochs.. folks to patroul about a bit but thats propably blind fishing. If the agent doesn't try to attack me realizing its well.. me after using grade 7 healing magic openly, they are most likely someone in that meeting.. I can't imagine them coming in on an open battlefield last second to change events, too chaotic. Is there anyone you think suspicious? Oh, also warn me if anyone tries to leave the meeting right now, I'm a bit vunerable. By the way, this spell allows me to say stuff over a distance, then you to answer, then it ends, so no chit chat, sorry.

Ruling out Masoch there was still Isa using her emergency signal earlier. It didn't sit right with her. Sure, Isa has been on edge due to the desert. Perhaps it was a coincidence. Perhaps. Deva was curious if Isa would name the Crimson guard as suspicious option.. or exclude them from suspicion. Those had been who had 'checked in' Isa, hadn't they? Orise seemed dangerous and potentially cruel, but not an agent, but was Orise the actual leader?

"I can do many things... But why waste my power when there are still so many left to enslave. Sure I could do all sorts of things once this world is mine, but right now I can't risk myself losing too much magical energy. If I had a copper for every time that someone rushed in to try and stop me right after enslaving someone, I could probably just BUY the rest of these nations." Masoch would justify, knowing to do a little bit more with her powers, but generally wanting to save it so that she could use it against others. Though, she had pulled one of her usual secret weapons, only to find that the angel was able to handle it much better than any of the other heroes that she had dealt with. "The color? Doesn't everyone's magic energy match their hair color? Last I checked that was how it worked..." The mage would ask, sounding legitimately confused that Deva had any questions about the the color of her magic. Her magic had always looked like that for as long as she could remember, it tended to just follow along with the natural color of your hair. Though that would also give the angel a bit more insight on what sounded like rather strange ways that magic worked in the story that she was in. "My magic is quite unique... Built like this after decades and decades worth of research. Give me more time and I will continue to refine it, but I'd prefer that the whole world be mine to make sure that no one is going to get in the way of my research and experimentation. People tend to dislike my form of magic, and being constantly interrupted just won't do." The woman said almost dismissively, as though that her eventually conquering the world was simply a foregone conclusion and not something that she would struggle for in the slightest.

"Oh that's the other fun thing actually, darling. From my experience, no spells that normally disrupt magic work against mine. 'Anti-magic fields' and the like merely slow me down a little bit. It's yet another reason that the Mages College of Atrial had no way of stopping me. Generally, the way to keep me from using my magic is simply me agreeing to not use it. I applaud your attempts at trying to find a way to keep me from doing so however. Though, grabbing one of the main focal points of it all wasn't the best idea, but at the same time you had no way of knowing that." She would shrug, being actually honest about not planning on using any of her magic after Deva had revealed herself. At least for a little while. But considering that Deva had so much of the magical energy in her, Masoch figured that it would just be a waste to not use it to give the angel a little... extra. "I've studied magic for ages. Do you think that I wouldn't notice an animation spell? Especially on something that belongs to me, something that I would be so upset about losing, might I add." The woman would say with a confident smile, very good at noticing when some form of magic was being used... well... with everything but illusions, those were a bit difficult for her. There was also the fact that there had been many, many attempts on her life, to the point where she just got better and better at noticing tiny little details that might lead to anyone having an advantage over her, so she tended to have an easy time spotting attempts at animating her clothing and the like. "Just as I can make minds and souls submit to me, so to can I make the body submit to my whims. Now enjoy your new cock, my dear... I can't wait to see you... Mmmmm... use it..." She would moan, reaching a hand down to start stroking her own impressive length, smirking and watching as the angel's body adjusted to the sudden change, one that most had quite a bit of trouble adjusting to. Her eyes would immediately move down between Deva's legs, seeing the obvious bulge created in her form fitting dress, part of her enjoying this more than anything else, the sudden new sensations and desires flooding their mind... it was truly beautiful. "How do you think that I've got so many beautiful women that share my attributes? While this might not be my most powerful feat, it is certainly one of my personal favorites." Though her words wouldn't be the first thing on Deva's mind, as her head would keep swimming with images of her ravishing all the beautiful women that she had run into throughout her journey. "Of course you want to fuck. You have a brand new cock just aching to be used... Go right ahead, I''ll even help you find any of the beautiful little sluts in this camp. We will capture them for you if you so wish. Wouldn't that be nice? Instead of talking over a cup of tea, we can talk while fucking your companion, much more fun in my mind." She would offer, smirking more at the perverted idea of a nice chat over a thorough fucking. "Why would I let her go? She is a spoil of war! She made an attempt on my life, so her life is forfeit to me! I won't kill her, but her mind and body are mine now. We will not kill her, but we will keep her. Besides, she's happier now anyway, why should it matter?" She would say dismissively, not having the slightest plans on letting that soldier go, as in her mind it rightfully belonged to her. But when the woman suddenly faded out and returned, the mage's eyes would suddenly go wide in surprise, looking around worriedly, wondering what would have happened to get her out of this situation.

"Refinement comes once there is no need to worry about others barging in on these things. I can properly refine everything and take time to enjoy it when I know that none of these fools will try to rip it right out of my grasp." Though she would go silent and just stand there fuming as Deva continued to explain what she was doing wrong with her power. Her eye would twitch even more than usual, and her expression would grow a little more deranged as she went on and on. If it weren't for the fact that Deva had already done quite a bit that she didn't expect, she'd probably be shouting at the woman right then and there. But she knew that there was little she could do but sit there and fume angrily, her expression breaking more and more as Deva laid into her about the magic that she wasn't using, and if looks could harm, then Deva might have been in more trouble than she had originally thought. But instead, the mage would just stand there angrily, magic energy seeming to build through her every second that Deva criticized her lack of realizing her potential. Then when she saw Deva actually using her magic, her expression would completely break, and she'd fall to the ground, slamming her fist into the ground in a rage, all trace of confidence and calm gone from her, and instead Masoch would be almost completely breaking down. "Y-YOU DARE to STEAL MY MAGIC? Why on earth would YOU TAKE WHAT I HAVE WORKED FOR AGES TO CREATE! That's NOT NICE!" She would shout, looking more unbalanced than anyone had ever seen her. "THOSE ARE MY SLAVES! NOT YOURS! AAARRRRGGHHHH!!! THEY DON'T BELONG TO YOU!!! GIVE THEM BACK TO ME! THEY ARE MINE... Mine... mine..." She would shout, not just sounding angry and insane... but also sounding almost heartbroken and sad, an insane mixture of emotions shooting through her at the idea that anyone had stolen the slaves that she had worked so hard to create, mould, and make perfect. "They're... they're... they're supposed to belong... belong to me... not you... they're not yours... mine... they're mine..." She would mutter to herself, seeming completely lost in her own thoughts now, falling to the ground and just sitting there, muttering to herself, not even seeming to hear as Deva spoke through all of her slaves, the woman just sitting, talking to herself about how they were meant to be hers, seeming more broken than she had at any point during their interaction.

Even during Deva's illusion, Masoch would just sit there muttering to herself, her body naturally reacting to the things that it was seeing, her cock still throbbing a bit, but it seemed that her actual brain wasn't involved whatsoever. A blush came to her face, she would start sweating, her body even shuddering a bit all in that short moment that Deva's spell affected her and her slaves. But her mood was ruined, in fact she seemed almost like a broken person. Her expression was manic, but her eyes seemed lifeless, she just sat there muttering to herself incoherently at this point, not doing anything to stop Deva, nor doing anything against the clothes that would keep her wrapped up. And as such, when Deva grabbed her head, Masoch wouldn't do anything, still muttering to herself and growing more and more panicked with each word that she muttered to herself. Though strangely... it seemed that she was actually responding to Deva in some way, her words seeming at least slightly connected to the things that the angel was saying. "girl? no... wasn't a girl... not always... not girl... so many experiments... 'for the sake of knowledge' he said... more knowledge... more magic... more tests... girl now... not boy... gone now... not me... not him..." She would say, repeating those words a few times before the spell hit her, her eyes regaining life... and tears falling down from them as things in her head started putting themselves back together, her constant muttering stopping as the restoration magic went through her.

The pillows that Deva requested had actually already been there before she even asked for them, the Tome apparently knowing that she'd want them, and as such it had prepared them in advance. Meanwhile, Masoch would still just sit there, though this time she looked a lot more thoughtful rather than insane, just sitting there and looking at the ground. "I'm fine." She would answer, sounding emotionless... well... not exactly emotionless, more like she was trying to hide her emotions instead. "These are my soldiers. I'm not making them risk their lives just because you're suspicious of some supposed intruder. If you want to find them then go look for them yourself." She would say, pulling herself to her feet, still looking upset and annoyed, though now without the large amount of deranged insanity that had filled her expression earlier. Then she would look around for a moment, still looking like she was thinking about something important before she sighed. "Tell the rest of them that my soldiers are withdrawing. I've had enough of this. And leave me alone from now on, I'm leaving, don't expect my soldiers to help you in whatever plan you have going on right now..." Masoch would start to storm over to her black tent, looking extremely upset now, but before she got there she'd stop and sigh once again. "Of course... if you disguised yourself as one of my soldiers to get free reign around the camp without anyone looking at you twice, not much I could do to stop you. You'd need a uniform and staff though... but I think I've foolishly left those unguarded for the next hour or so... Oh, and don't trust ANYONE in this camp..." She would say, stepping inside her tent without another word.

We're pretty sure you've done that 'this is your conscience' gag last time you talked to us like this. The meeting's fine, they're discussing strategy and the like, emergency scenarios, trying to plan for every potential scenario, including Masoch betraying them. We're note sure if anyone here is suspicious though. There's a demon looking woman here, the "Queen of the Elves", some woman that calls herself the SunShrine Maiden, but no one in particular that we think is all that suspicious. We'll warn you though if anyone tries to leave... Same warning system as last time. We promise not to set it off for no reason this time. When this is over we'll come looking for you, don't wait up for us though. Isa would answer, before letting the connection close. Though before Deva could do anything else, she'd notice that two of Masoch's soldiers would be walking towards her, and in between them was the woman that Deva had asked the mage to free, and she was even dressed in actual clothing that mostly hid the cock that had been cumming earlier. The two guards would salute and then just stand their, weapons held firmly in their hands, as they had actually been ordered to stand by and protect Deva in case anyone tried to harm her after she had used up so many spells. The formerly imprisoned woman would step forward to Deva, looking a little confused, and still a bit foggy considering that she had already undergone weeks of conditioning. "Errr... Mistress... er.. I mean... She told me to come to you... Said that I'm uh... I'm... 'your problem now'? She said that to do whatever it is you want with me..." The woman would say, sounding a bit confused, unsure of what exactly to do now that she wasn't actually captured. "Do you know where the Empress of Fire is? Or any part of the Empire? I'm not sure exactly where else to go at this point... Unless you wanted something specific of me?" She asked, looking around some more, not even sure of where she was now that she thought about it.

Meanwhile, the soldiers would slowly return to where they were, seeming less concerned once Masoch was no longer around, and going back to their normal activities. If Deva listened, she'd hear a bunch of them talking about drinking for a good while before the coming battle, wanting to spend what might be their last nights drunk. But otherwise things at least still seemed normal, but something about it all would start to make Deva feel uneasy, something seemed wrong about it all, but she wouldn't be able to find anything specific. Perhaps she could just wait for Isa, but perhaps she had missed something? "Excuse me, Deva, but is there something specific that you're looking for? I get the feeling that the higher ranking members of ________'s forces are a bit more subtle, or perhaps patient, compared to the others. Or maybe this one in particular is like that. Either way, I wonder if there's something that we've simply been missing?"

"No.. nooo that's not how it works. well it might be! Perhaps I got it the wrong way around. Hmnn..." Deva was seriously considering the hair-color conundrum. "Oh it is unique, unique and impressive! I never thought that such kind of spells were possible -oh and trust me, I've been through some places!" Deva cheered.
"Well of course you can't stop this type of magic with an anti-magic field, there's hardly any arcane energy involved, it's all very procedural. If you wanted to stop it you'd have to use an opposing type of emotional magic that overrides your spells effects." Deva explained off-handedly.

"Very good, noticing my animation magic in effect, I usually keep a low profile." She nodded.

"I'm sensing a bit of avarice. Come on, it's not that bad, just a temporal overriding spell." Deva understated when observing Masochs reaction. "Interesting that this would affect you so much I wonder what that is.." She pondered, even while lying back on her pillows.
"Well that's not very helpful." Deva mused, before adding, calmly.: "The girl you took as spoils of war. You'll undo what you did to her as much as you can before breaking camp and set her free. And when you next set out to invade the world because you think no one cares, remember that this world is protected." She lay there, thoughtfully, hands crossed behind her head on the pillows.

"I did the gag before? Dang it. I've had too many things on my mind. Also, did Isa always refer to herself in the plural. Pretty sure she didn't." Her eyes narrowed, as she sat up. "Oh. Hey. Hello there. I'm Deva, whats your name?" She introduced herself to the freed slave-warrior girl, seeming deep in thought. "Oh for now, I just need someone to admire me being very clever, there's little point to it when I'm all on my own, ... wait.. hold on.." The same as -last time?-

Deva crossed her arms and looked over the soldiers wandering around. .
"Hah! Oh that's good." Deva clapped. "No Tomey. There's nothing specific I'm looking for!" She grinned. "And they're -not- subtle. Thick. I'm so thick. Tomey, from now on you might as well refer to me as Thick thickety thick angel because I'm so damn slow sometimes. I mean I pondered about it but dismissed it as ludicrous, out to teach me." She hopped up and handed her newly won assistant a pillow.

"Hold this pillow for me. You can take two if you want your own, I personally might want to nap later. See, this is why I never agree to be part of anything." She pointed at the likely confused woman. "You know what being part of anything gets you? Sure, it's fun and it's comfortable at first, but then it gets you to go baaaah and jump over fences and people get all sleepy about it." Deva chuckled, then, as usual with a speed betraying her usual lazyness, grabbed a random soldier by the collar.

"You know who I am. You've taken my friend who's been quite bravely fighting and I'm not about to let that slide. You'll bring her back, undo what you did to her and leave this world alone. Or come, if you think you can stop me. If you are completely convinced you can succeed were all others have failed. If there's no doubt in your heart at all then come, but be aware that if she's harmed, only a little bit, I'm not going to be in a good mood.
You got ten minutes, because that's how long it will take for my spell to take effect."
Deva raised her hand, eyes lighting up ever so briefly.. her Control weather magic was ill suited for combat, taking a long time to cast and to set in, not to mention its effects were more general than targeted...but it was still in effect. And it was perfect for targeting a whole army if she had to. "And trust me, what I can do is worse than a big cloud of snow."

She let the soldier go, leaning back, turning to her new friend. "Get me one of the staffs from Masochs tent to carry along please." Deva nodded, then, when her new servant obliged, turned to.... "Judging by the direction from which Isa came and the moisture gradient in the air, whatever happened to her was from that general direction." She guessed, wandering along the camp with a confident smile.. and just a brief stumble.. from using quite a lot of magic, or a feint.. who could tell with her?

"Oh by the way, don't worry about the empress of fire and all that, I dun intend to keep you busy for too long. Are you good with time? I'm a bit rubbish. We want you to poke that staff into the ground like a flagpole and sit besides it shortly before ten minutes pass." Deva informed, the sky above slowly greying out with clouds.

"Do you wonder why I challenged the random soldier, why I'm not bothering to look for the agent anymore, Tomey? It's because I'm already feeling mighty stupid without pointing at individual trees. If you were to try and detect a low level telephatic field I'm sure you'd have a field day. Truth be told, I wasn't sure if Isa had been affected, that's why I sent her to the meeting while trying to squeeze intel out of masoch, but truth is, no matter whom or where I had tried to look, I'd have done it wrong. Masoch was just more.. resilient to it due to her own form of insanity. Infact, even this nice soldier gal with us, yes you, might still be affected, though due to her.. restricted nature, I figured she'd be the safest bet of all in this camp, little point corrupting a trapped slave."

After speaking to her tome, Deva looked up, addressing random soldiers.. uncaring for their confused looks if that was their response, as she continued her way: "I know who you are. Well, I don't -exactly-." She corrected herself. "Spore.. plant.. spirit. little wormey thing.. my bet is on little wormey thing honestly." She sighed. that'd be worst of course. "But whatever you're doing, you can't possibly pack it all up before I find it." She tipped her hat and added: "And once I understand something, I'll know how to stop it." She mused on. "Ordinary soldiers will barely be enough to slow me down, please don't bother, both of us will end up having headaches for different reasons and you can't afford to have your military strenth diminished further." She mused. "I guess you work by overtaking the weak first, then the strong with numbers? Someone like Fortem and Praesidia are beyond your reach though. But all of these guys united, why they might just do it... well.."

She smirked. "If I hadn't already prepared that is. Is that a bluff? Who knows. You'll only know when you try to take me too. But you have acess to Isa's memories. Well, some of them at least. I figure it takes a while to properly control someone that's fighting you off, doesn't it? Control is easy, but powers and important memories must be harder. I should have tested her with a random remark about a false prior fight we had or something, lesson learned. Anyway. You have acess to Isa's knowledge to some degree, which means you should understand what trouble you are in." She fluffed up her wings, able to casually split her conversation between people.. in part because she wanted to know how they'd react. How well did they coordinate? Did they pay attention, or did it switch over?
"Oh and before you think you'll win just by rushing me with everyone.. I can always hide away the tome and search what you can of Isa's memories.. I'm harder to gain acess to than her." Deva chuckled

After all, it couldn't have pried the information of the rebellion out of Isa's mind, if it had, things would be different.. but perhaps it had, perhaps it had done that and even the fake story. If that was true, than the in between was in danger. Deva had to learn more.. and one possible, if quite dangerous way was..She mused, before addressing Tomey: "We should perhaps set up a contingency should I be taken control of.. nah, thats planning for failure, which I don't intend to make." She spun around and pointed at another random soldier. "Usage of the 'we' pronoun indicates a hive, or perhaps a shared mind, as do the shared memories. I figure the eighth ranked Narcissus has an ability that functions if you just look at him, else you'd propably have gone higher in the '1on1' challenge, eh. Well, it really doesn't matter." She noted, with her cloak swirling behind her as she rushed on, taking long steps, hard for either also enslsaved or really confused companion to keep up with. "Most people would struggle fighting an entire army after all. Not me, noho.. armies struggle when they face me, I got a different problem, were using my friends against me puts me in quite the bad mood." Deva stopped, waving her hands about randomly almost. "No. No, not like that, it's never like that. It's not about me, it's about them, they always make a big fuss about being a burden and all that, well look at me, ten minutes alone and I get myself thrown over a mountain and make new friends with a futanarized sun empire or another gal, you don't want to know what I'd do if left alone for an hour." She chuckled.

Masoch wouldn't speak to Deva much, instead mostly ignoring her. In fact, it didn't even seem like the mage was all that afraid of the angel either, just very conflicted. She wouldn't even comment on the demand to release the soldier, as she had planned on doing that now anyway, for reasons that she didn't feel like explaining to anyone. Other than that, she would simply storm off into her tent, ignoring the angel, ordering her guards to do their best to make sure no one attacked Deva while she was so exhausted, though only giving that order when she was out of sight. It seemed that the mage didn't want to interact with anyone but her own soldiers now that everything was said and done, even setting up locks on certain parts of her tent, ensuring that if Deva came by she'd only be able to make it to the mage's armory.

The freed slave girl would look rather confused for a moment, before shaking her head when the angel asked her a question. "S-Sorry... It's been a while since I had to use my actual name... Too used to being called 'slut' or 'dear little slave' or 'cutie'... Ummm... Hello Deva, my name is Hilda Novablade..." She would answer, blushing a bit now that she thought about all the things that had happened to her while she was held captive by the Queen of Agony herself. Though honestly... she would be considered one of the luckiest women in the world, as right now no one that she knew of had ever escaped the woman like this. She either kept you, or used you as a sleeper agent to try and infiltrate any other nation. She didn't know much about how to admire someone being clever, so instead the knight would just sort of stand there a bit and look a bit surprised, and confused considering that she didn't have much knowledge of the situation going on around her.

"Is that an actual title you want me to add to the ones I already have? For what it's worth, whatever it is that you've missed, I seem to have missed it as well." The Tome would joke, wondering what exactly it was that Deva had discovered, but also kind of wanting to help make sure that she wasn't going to be too hard on herself just because she had missed something. It hadn't noticed anything at this point, and had wondered what kind of plan that the agent had, but now it was at least glad that Deva knew something, that was a step in the right direction. Hilda would look surprised for a moment before taking the pillow that the angel had handed to her, before taking it and figuring that she wanted someone on hand to hold something like that. So she would take it without complain, still looking a bit confused at all the things that were going on around her. "Sorry... Mistre- Err... She didn't really explain much of what's going on... I know that this is where everyone wants to stand against those two, but otherwise I didn't really get an understanding of what's going on. Is there something wrong with the people here?"

"Alright... I'll take two in case you want an extra..." The former knight would rush over and pick up another one, holding them both with a slight blush because she felt kind of silly holding two pillows when she was used to trying to fight mighty opponents. Now she was following around an angel holding two pillows after being mind raped by a powerful, insane, and extremely lewd mage without a clue about how things happened in between. "Sheep? Heh... I uh... I don't exactly recall there being any sheep involved in this. Uh... Just warn me if I start acting like a proper sheep, it'd be pretty embarrassing..." She would ask, seeming happy that the angel could at least have a sense of humor about things when she wanted.

The first soldier that Deva would grab would be an elven woman, a bow at her side who would look confused for a few moments before her expression would suddenly change. Her eyes would seem a bit glassy, and her posture would be completely different, almost inhuman in the way she stood there and looked. And when she opened her mouth to speak, all the soldiers around would speak in perfect rhythm, their voices speaking as one. "You figured us out? A shame... We did not think you would discover us this quickly... What did we do wrong? Ah... wait... We forgot to use the 'singular' words again, yes? We have always struggled with such a thing. There is no 'I', there is only WE. It is difficult for us to even properly comprehend the concept of the individual, let alone try and speak as though we actually ARE one. The ice mage is not harmed, we are caring for her as we would any member of our hive. She is unharmed, enjoying the wondrous pleasure of being united with us. You will join us... You will join her. We are Orise... We are the Queen of the Elves, and We ARE Isa. And soon enough, we will be Deva as well..." They would speak, though none of them would try to harm her, and the one elf that she had specifically grabbed would walk with Deva, speaking in time with any soldiers that were close enough to hear. "We had hoped that Masoch would occupy you longer, or that she might even enslave you if we adapted to her instincts... Instead she is now disconnected from us, an even greater shame. But we will welcome her back into our Hive once we take you, We will be Masoch again, and Deva as well. Do not resist this process, we can promise that it is intensely pleasurable, and that we will ensure that you are never lonely." They would stop for a few moments, seeming to think on the matter for a bit before continuing on. "Forgive us, but if you wished to talk us down from our position, we decided that it would be only natural for us to do the same to you. So perhaps we can continue this talk once you are a part of us, and you better understand the fulfillment of serving the Hive... when you understand what true unity is, and you can finally move away from the loneliness of individuality.,," "W-What the fuck?! What in the name of the gods is going on here?!" Hilda would shout in surprise, looking around at all the people that were talking in unison. If it weren't for the fact that she was told to hold the pillows, and the fact that she was quite a bit more compliant after all the magic that had been used on her, she'd be reaching for her sword right now in fear. This wasn't something that she was used to seeing, even with all the strange magic that she knew Masoch was able to use, the ability of everyone to suddenly talk in unison like this without a hint of lag or missed timing between them all. They were more in sync than even the army marches that Hilda had been a part of, where every soldier was told to keep perfect timing of their steps to look like a unified force, and something about this seemed even more coordinated than that.

But other than that, she would quickly nod when Deva told her to go take one of the staffs, rushing into Masoch's tent, being quite a bit faster since she already knew where everything was. In just a few short moments she would hurry out, holding a dark black staff with a glowing silver orb at the top of it, magical energy that looked very similar to the magic that the Queen of Agony had been using would swirl around the orb, showing that it did hold the same powers that Masoch had been using, or at least an even more limited version of it. "Yeah... I can keep decent track of time... Should get pretty darn close to ten minutes, though I'll adjust that to make sure that it's in the ground before ten minutes like you said... Errr... Any back up plan for if whatever you're doing doesn't work? Or is this even some kind of plan already?" She would ask, though before Deva could say anything, the enslaved elf would be right beside the two of them once again. "Yes indeed... Sharing your plan might be useful to us right now. Answer the... We suppose she is a freed slave now... So answer the freed one and we will listen as well." And all around them, the people in the camp would be chuckling a bit, all in time with one another, the Hive apparently making a joke. "We hear all in this camp... We see all... Share what you wish with anyone, we will know it."

The Tome, in turn, would immediately shift what was written on its pages, no longer writing in any language that Deva would recognize... yet... at the same time she would find that she could understand it perfectly? "Well, I'm less confused about why you would do such a thing now... Ah... right... This is the language of the Tomes... It's... well... strange. We can write in a way that only wielders and other Tomes will be able to read. Even if they wrote down every bit of it, and found a translation key, they'd never be able to understand it if they weren't a wielder. It uses up just a little bit of energy, but I figured it's worth it to keep this at least a little more private." The Tome would write, first wanting Deva to understand that it would keep their talks private should they be in a situation where prying eyes were everywhere. "It seems that Isa walked right into a trap, and we did as well. For what it's worth, I might not have even been able to detect it even if I tried." It would explain, while the soldier just once again looked to be confused. "You're... talking to a book? You know what, not even gonna question it... Enough weird stuff is going on that I should just accept it..." She would say, seeming more exasperated at all the crazy things that were going on around her right as she was freed. Though a part of her was now wondering if she had actually been freed, or if this was just some kind of trick that the Queen of Agony was using to try and break her spirit even further.

"Unfortunately, we did not take in Masoch's slaves yet, as they would obey us so long as we held her in our grasp. They were going to be properly joined later when we took the ones known as Fortem and Praesidia... Or perhaps WE are the ones bluffing now, that is a strategy you enjoy to employ, is it not?" The random soldiers and the elf walking with them would answer, just deciding to speak with Deva now that she knew the truth of what they were. "We have no plans of packing it up... We will simply have to take you in as well, earlier than we had hoped really... Had all things gone correctly then we would've been going after you AFTER we took the last two major elements of this story. But come, we are ready for you, and we will welcome you among us just as we have welcomed so many others that fought us at first. We want you just as we wanted Isa, just as we wanted all in this camp. You will be WITH Isa, you will be WITH the others, it is a wonderful experience, we can promise you that." They would explain, not sending any ordinary soldiers after Deva, as they knew enough to know that she would have no problem taking them down. Besides, she was heading directly in the direction that they actually wanted her to go. "We have time, endless time. We have always existed, and we will continue to exist for centuries and centuries. One way or another you will become one with us, you will experience unity, you will become us. You will cast off individuality to become part of something greater, and we will ensure that you are happy, that you will never be alone, that you will experience pleasure whenever you wish, and we will be with you every step of the way. We will grow greater together, we will make one another greater." They would say, explaining their own view on why they would do something like this. "We will find the Tome eventually, you will properly open up to us in time, and we will ALL be happier for it. Perhaps Mistress might even allow us to try and bring the Tome into our Hive as well... but that is another subject entirely. Come to us, little lost angel, come to us and we will embrace you in our grasp..." It did always try its best to convince someone to join them before it moved on to being forceful, so few accepted the promise of Unity, it was something that they all found very hard to understand. It knew for certain that everyone that had become a part of them was far better off, and they agreed to it as well, it was a full consensus among their combined consciousness, yet they would always fight. "Perhaps, while you plan on taking us down, you can answer a question that we still can not understand. Why do you struggle against this? Why do so many of you deny the happiness of unity? Many have tried to explain this to us, it does not make sense in the slightest... Is there something you can do to help us understand?"

As Deva walked on, the camp would start seeming a bit different. The tents slowly looked more organic, as though they were made of insect chitin or something similar, and if she kept walking there would be less and less artificial tents, and more natural looking tents and dwelling places, occasionally a soldier would step out and look around for a second before they would suddenly join in on the chorus of voices that were speaking to Deva. "Are you perhaps worried that Isa is gone within us? She is not, we have accepted her within us, and are working to properly integrate her to the Hive. The process is not as fast as we would like, but thankfully we have gained enough to show you that she still is a part of us..." There'd be a pause... before every single person speaking would suddenly have a different voice. But rather than all having different voices, they all spoke with the same voice, same pitch, same tone, a familiar voice speaking with Deva now, coming out of every soldier. "As we said... We are Isa. She is us, We are her. She is happy, WE are happy... We are one." They all spoke in a perfect imitation of Isa's voice, speaking in unison, now sounding as though there were a dozen of her all speaking at the exact same time, saying the same thing. The change from artificial to organic material would continue on and one until Deva reached what seemed to be the center of the Hive. There would be a slight crater, and at the center of that crater sat...

A giant orb that had a green glow, with something looking like it was growing inside. Tentacles and organic material stretched out from the center, gripping to anything near it, anchoring the center of all the organic material that had been overtaking the camp. Quite a few soldiers were walking around it and tending to it, depositing what looked like food into a few slots in the orb, and a few of them seeming to clean and tend to every bit of material flowing off of it. "Welcome to us... To our core... Or at least... the core that we have brought to this world. The center of this world's Hive... We serve, we tend, we work, we protect, and together, in return we are no longer alone, we are united. This army, they yearned for unity, they would fall before the 'gods' due to their discord. Infighting, anger, betrayal, old wars and grudges brought to life... The leaders desired unity, WE gave it to them, we have brought them together. We will also give Fortem and Praesidia what they wish for. These people will be protected, this world will be safe and happy, and they will not even left without one another. All will be happy as part of the Hive. Isa will be, Praesidia will be, YOU will be, and... Grr... A shame... There's some information that she is not giving to us yet... Seems she knows something rather important about Mistress and her Ranks... Strange... But we will integrate that information in time..." They would say, and it seemed that Isa would be still trying to keep information from them, doing her very best to ensure that the hive mind didn't gain access to knowledge of the traitors, wanting to protect Deva's plans as best she could.

"No matter... It will all come to us in time. So we ask, to make things easier for all of us... Would you join us in this unity? We could ensure that you are never left alone, we can ensure that those you love never die, that they stay with you forever, all we ask for is joining us in this..." And as they said that, the orb would pulse a little more, strange energy coursing through it, the Hive giving Deva time in the hopes that she would choose to join them. Though if Deva looked around, she'd see quite a few powerful looking mages and warriors stationed around this hive mind, the orb being important enough to all of them to devote some rather powerful looking people to guard it. A few looked like queens, others like seasoned generals, and if Deva looked, she'd even see Isa standing at attention a short distance away from the orb, apparently the Hive finding her powers adequate enough to use to protect them and their core.

"I can call you slut if that helps as a transitiory period, but Hilda will do." The angel chuckled innocently.

"Well, it sure is appropriate." She off-handedly responded to the tome's joking question, not seeming in that jokey a mood, but at least she had a knight to look confused. Those usually did that around her so that was about what she expected.
"I'll make sure to warn you of any sheepening, though you look a bit sheepish right now to be quite honest. Like you may want to go baww and chew on some grass at any time, though to be fair, most guards are one polished armor and a better memory away from being sheeps in my book." She did not get along with the usual crusadey-justicey angel types if that wasn't obvious by now.

"It was the singular words that got me confused, but theres so many languages, some lack that entirely, what really gave you away was that apparently you share memories as much as you share mouths. And ohoho, no. trust me, you wont be Deva. No one but me can be Deva, heck, even I need a good day myself and I got practice." She smirked ever so slightly.

"Shame that I can't do the greater restoration on all of you, though thanks for volunteering what I already suspected, that spell is enough to cleanse you of influence." Deva mused inwardly. Why did they always let her talk? Every one, without fail.. well, not that she was about to complain about that!

"So you wont 'welcome back' Masoch at all then. You really don't understand who or what you are dealing with. This isn't even the first hive-mind that gave me trouble. Oh the Modron would tell tales about me, if.. they were capable of that." She informed the earstwhile elf-companion.
She answered Hilda first: "A hive-mind has taken over the allied armies. As I initially suspected, it had to have gotten to Masoch either first, or last, due to her specific powerset. It seemed it was last, so you are not hooked up, .. I presume. Basically, this is the final stage of Masochs powers, in a way, and you might still be linked up to it without knowing. Don't worry, you are not the creatures primary concern." Deva then nodded.
"Oh I understand. I've felt more lonely than any of the creatures you have linked up with. I've been alone all my life. And you know why? Because I am unique. Because the best anyone can hope for is to comfort me. No one can understand me, because no one thinks like I do. Doesn't mean I want to give up thinking."
Compared to Hilda, Deva was remarkably calm about the whole unison-act.. as usual things did not get her worried easily, in that regard, Tabitha had been more sucessful than any agents so far.
Deva could not help but grin subtly at Hilde's question about plans. "Well if it doesn't work we just hope the lightning doesn't hit us." She chuckled.
"You want to know my plan huh? You all want to know my plan?

First. I'm going to Free Isa.
Second. I'm going to stop you and protect this entire world. Whatever you did to tip the scales of this war, I've already put countermeasures in place, your only chance to win this now is to control -me-. So really, I don't need much of a plan at all.
By the way, I notice you're not backing down. I wonder if you have someone powerful enough to control the weather on your side, in that case I'd have to do this the hard way."
Deva grinned, seeming confident.

Deva chuckled at her tome and let the hive-mind hear her too: "The problem is, this trap as it was has a massive, awful flaw within it." Before she turned to the confused soldier. "Nonono, that's the sheep talking. Always question things. Always consider possibilities. I am talking to a book, why? Either I'm insane, or I'm not, if I'm not, that must mean the book must be able to listen, see it's easy to think for yourself, just forget all that your training taught you." She nodded. "Yes, bluffing is a strategy I like to employ, which means I'm really good at it. Hilda is a useless pawn to you and you had a war to plan and your overtaking resources to conserve for not just these two, but also potentially me coming. You didn't take over Masochs slaves." Deva theorized. Sure there was a rest-risk with Hilda.
And as dark clouds shadowed over Deva, her lips curled into a smirk. "You are not ready for me." She then shook her head.
"And you are wrong. If I don't like what you are doing and so far, I'm not doing so one bit, then this is where your story ends." Deva insisted and defying the lighting around, her shadow slowly wandered ahead of her, as she kept her broom shouldered tightly.
"Your question is malformed. You have yet to explain why unity is your prefered state of being. What, because it alleviates the loneliness? Well, that's the definition of being together, you are not alone, duh. I'll save you time and skip you to the end of your seemingly centuries of hunt for that particular answer: There is none. Just like the living avoid to be dead, it's a different state of being that denies our current state, so anyone even the least bit happy with their current state would reject you.

And from that stems my problem with you. Isa, and indubitably, many others, rejected you, and propably would so still, if they could, and no, taking away their ability to do so does not make you right. If you were a hive-mind that only accepted those that willingly joined, we wouldn't have a problem."
Deva indulged the entity.

"Insects. Knew it." Deva froze up when everyone spoke with Isa's voice however. "You shouldn't have done that. Because now, I'm angry." She said in a voice that spoke to an instinctual part of the mind, a subtle standing up the hairs at the back of ones neck, without having a directly loud or aggressive tone to it, before simply walking on, well, walking, sure, it didn't look as if she was running, though now it was almost hard to keep up with her for the others, without falling into a slight jog.

"Hilda, you just stand back, it'll be too dangerous near here soon." Deva sat down, folding her legs. "I'll tell you a story, Isa..
Back a while ago, when I ruled a layer of the abyss, one of the fiendish lords, Obox Ob, the lord of Vermin, saw fit to send me a Fiendish Giant Scorpion. Not sure if it was to kill or woo me, perhaps either or. I disabled the creature and awakened it as a guardian. It was a bit emo... My point is, insects are suprisingly good at being mindless, no wonder Tabitha failed this one.
You got a lot of mages and folks to guard this thing, enough to look like a proper workout for me. I guess you figure your core is more important than taking over this story. Or you figure you might at least give me a workout before you are defeated?
Isa! Nono, all of Isa, because, clearly, if this was so great you wouldn't, couldn't resist. The parts of Isa that are suppressed, hold on a little longer alright? If you do, you might get even more stories, a whole lot of them!"

Deva grinned mischieviously. "How do you expect this going down, you hit me with some be-one-with-us waves, send all your folks at me to keep me restrained and I come up with a clever scheme, perhaps some sort of magic that only works on insect-types?" Deva got back up and stretched, taking a step towards the focus of the alien anomaly. "Nah. I guess I'll have to switch up my plans. Remember what I said earlier? Anyone at least a bit happy with their current state would reject you." Deva smirked and extended her arms, dropping her broom casually. "Hook me up boys!" Deva encouraged, but then lifted a finger, the feeling of danger around her intensifying if anything, despite her apparent surrender.
"But remember what I said. I usually lie to people about it, kinda like my age, don't like to be coddled, well, I do, but I don't like to seem needy about it, but deep down I'm more alone than you can possibly imagine. " She proclaimed, with a hard to read expression, while above her, thunderclouds gathered and rumbled angrily.
