Do you by any chance mean "Hanakanmuri"?(i think that is it's full name,but i could be wrong as i never paid much attention to it...)
Btw it's not an RPG,but a 2d scrolling ryona platformer-like game(it also features some vore if i'm not mistaken)...If you want to know more about the game just search for it here on ULMF,as i'm sure that it was discussed here somewhere at some point...

What defines an rpg maker hentai game...cause I seem to notice a trend with some games getting slated for having nothing but hentai and others for not having enough for the effort...

Is a good H rpg one that the story drives you naturally?

If you want to learn about what people really like go to the dlsite and click on the rpg list, then instead of by release date, check by number of sales. Majority of the games with lots of sales are games which have lots of good quality of H content with lots of choices. Game play is important but must not forget H is why people do buy H games. If they want story and game play they could always go for mass effect or skyrim.
It is a H rpg, so H and choices with good game play and lots of content I would say.

i think Moon Label (the guys who made dungeon chronicle) was one of the best h game groups, in terms of gameplay and CG

than replace the audio file from the trial

I've already the trial and that's the problem. I can't try this game without the file map.

Not really expecting much on the story. i can just play adventure game if i want story.

what im looking when searching rpg maker is fun conversation, see vitamin quest or dungeon chronicle.. their character are very likable.

Or im also fine with lots of event like saki quest

other are just my preference, like tentacle, female protoganist, ryona etc

So, yeah. Make the protagonist likable

What i consider a good rpg maker hentai games are game that have their story/rpg element and hentai linked.

A good exemple would be scgarden's games. Each quest and story element build a situation where the hentai will take place. You do not simply get awarded a scene every 10 minutes to keep you playing or intentionnally die at every bosses to get a cg then reload and continue for the next boss cg. The whole game is pretty much an ero story with rpg element.

I hate rpg maker games that tries to be a conventionnal RPG, but with hentai thrown in. If i wanted that kind of game i could play pretty much any snes rpg and stop every 10 minutes to google an image of that game for a better rpg experience and better cg's..

TL;DR: a good hentai rpg maker to me is an hentai game with rpg element, not an rpg with hentai element.

A couple of games i liked what they did or tried to do:
scgarden's
naked order
virgin island
violated heroine
garnet's adventure

There's tons of older RPG maker games that have done interesting stuff. Elements! is a recent one that's more than just throwaway.
