No actually. because first it was my left hand that was hurting, and nwhen I woke up the next morning it was my right, and now my right hasn't stopped.

actually the fact that it changed sides makes it more likely that Pale is right - you know, one hand gets sore so you start using the other, then the other gets sore...

Meh. I'm a huge fan of the movies, despite having read the books first. You pretty much have to take them as very different works of art, and yet I don't see how you could make the books into an *entertaining* movie (and more importantly, a movie that would sell) in a manner better than the one they employed.
The only thing that pisses me off is waiting for them to release the extended version on blu ray. As it was with the DVD versions, I can buy the theatrical version now and curse myself in a year, or I can just be patient and wait for the extended version. Damn greedy people.
And after I buy the extended version they'll come out with a set that has both.

Oh, don't get my wrong, I found the books dry, dull and longwinded more often than not. I'm not sitting here saying the books are inherently superior.
