I have a version that uses a machine translation for some content and a translation by "Alicemagic" for others, but no scenes translated by Alicemagic work. Any idea what's wrong?

Alicemagic is the person who did the translation for Smash Boy.
They likely started translating this game but didn't finish because they were busy so an unfinished/unimplemented translation is sitting in the game's files.
As for when or if Alicemagic will finish the translation, nobody except Alicemagic or Excessm would know.

I could be remembering wrong, but I think gtsisthebest's explanation for why Alicemagic's scenes don't work is spot on.

Only partially related since it's excess-m, but he's working on a mini-game right now to experiment with Unity.
It's going to be a first person Yakyūken (think rock-paper-scissors meets strip poker) game.
He said it'll be a freebie, and he wants it to be a browser game, though he worries about the limitations of such.

It ´s a pretty cool game, with decent combat system. Can ´t say much about the story itself as I can ´t understand japanese but you see it ´s not one of these low pixel sidescroller anime games you use to see as common. With some testing you can come along even wihthout an english translation but I really don ´t understand weapon improvements, which gear is the best or the use of different potions when there is no HP in the item description.

Things like different weapons and fight styles are a big bonus but not needed imho. Add of more enemies hab been a better choice though, but I ´m pretty sure there will be way more updates and content to come.

I ´m still confused why famous firms like excessm don ´t put a english translation right from the start to their games when it is already known it will have an english translatio anyway, should be easier to put it in from the scratch instead of patching it later.

Can anybody tell which version is the current one? I wasn ´t able to find out, thanks.

I tried the new weapons in 1.10, grants you halberd and wing blade.
Wing blade allows you to do area attacks every swing, and during dodge with high tension gauge allows you to perform a jumping attack
Halberd is a counter weapon, press dodge to enter counter stance. On successful counter, do left/right click (or attack/dodge) buttons as quicktime to do up to 4 chained attacks. Normal attack is a downwards stroke.

How's the animation look now btw. I like this guy's art in general. I just don't like the combat animations. Sex animations look great though! I know Unity has its own animation engine so if he uses that the game engine's animation system, it will look better and at SMALLER filesizes.

The only problem i notice with this mini game is that there is no full screen at all.

Yes Janken, was thinking of the other game starting with Y so I threw them together in my head. There are no actual battle animations in this, you do your move and if you win, the enemy strips down a piece, if you lose, you lose a piece, enemies strip down until they are only in their panties, losing scenes are very tame since its only a quick demo game. Its either against one enemy, two enemies, or all three of them where the rules work against you pretty hard. While the 1vs3 scenario can be a bit frustrating, I actually liked the concept and now I want more games like this, games where you battle females with games, be it honest competetion or gambling to get your way or lose, probably hard to find though.

Either there is no .exe file because it hasn't been put in yet or I'm just stupid.

Edit: oops nope I figured it out. His read me misled me because i expect to be guided the hand...i guess in this case something else.. Look in the folder:
D:\XUnity.AutoTranslator-master\XUnity.AutoTranslator-master\libs

A completionist question: how/where do you get the fifth armor in the catalogue ?
It doesn't seem to be in any of the shops and (AFAICT) I've got all the chests.

Jesus, Excess-M is on a roll these past few years! Aside from a voice update for this, he just announced his game in the main series already on Ci-En; he's planning on a Paradebuster styled ninja game.
Guess he grew tired of making games years apart, haha.
