The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Yes it's the coffee/doughnut chain that's big in Canada... as for really really terrible doughnuts, I suppose if you hate doughnuts they're horrible. If you don't hate doughnuts then you are the first person who likes them to say that Tim Horton's has bad doughnuts that I've heard.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Maybe it was just the one that I went to, because all the friends and family I was visiting (all four of them haha) said that Tim's had really good coffee but really bad doughnuts.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Weird... I dunno. I mostly go for the coffee... doughnut once in awhile.

^Don't mind the video, it was the only one I could find at the moment that has the version of the song I like.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

While normally I take the term love very seriously, I tend not to use it often because of it that was until I was in a certain Game thread A few seconds ago.

I love watching my god daughter's eyes light up when she's in awe of something that I take for granted.

I recently replaced a fair sized classroom window and a few bathroom mirrors in a few different public schools. The looks on the kids' faces as I brought in the pieces of glass was rather amusing.

Not comparable to a god daughter mind you, but I kind of know where yer coming from.

Gnee. Dark Dawn. I love it.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Is this Golden Sun: Dark Dawn?

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Added that to me "to do" list.

Curious to see what they do with it; I know it's set 30 years after GS2 but the story was fairly well concluded then.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

I FUCKING LOVE HALO: REACH.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

tis a good game. I think my favorite of the Franchise so far, which is nice especially after I felt so let down with the ending of Halo 2 and the majority of Halo 3's campaign (though the ending was fairly good in my opinion).

Funny, to me the further along chronologically the Halo series went, it seems to loose its magic. (with the exception of Halo Wars. Not saying it was a bad game, but it wasn't anything really good)

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

See... i loved 2 and 3 and I love wars too. RTS ftw <3

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

i think the stories got worse as they went along, but the games got better. This culminates in reach, the worst story but the best game, i just wish that they had kept all the other weapons and vehicles from the previous games just for fun in the editor. Them people could do more pirate battles.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

God, no. I love the stories <3

I've read all the books too, so I already know what happens to Reach ;_;

I never read a single one of the books, and I knew what happened to Reach.

:p

IMO:
Halo - Great single-player, multi-player needed work
Halo 2 - 'Meh' single-player, multi-player was better
Halo 3 - 'Meh' single-player, even better multi-player
Halo: ODST - Good single-player, great multi-player
Halo: Reach - *opinion is under construction*

Halo Wars: OMFGRTSWTF, decent game all 'round

I disagree. I thought the multiplayer got steadily worse up until ODST, which sort of evened out since it had the same multiplayer as Halo 3 with an additional minigame, (not including the addition of online play for consoles.) The weapons were better balanced in Halo 1, at any rate. Halo Reach had the worst balance, but it added so many new ways to play that it was at least an improvement over Halo 2/3. The single player I agree with, and I'll add that I think Reach has the worst campaign since Halo 2, which I thought was the low point of the series.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Yeah, Halo 1 had the best balance, but then again, it didn't have as many weapons/items as the newer ones have.

What I really liked about Halo 2's multi-player was the ability to chip away at/blow up vehicles.

As for ODST... I'm mostly going off of my brother's impressions as far as VS multi-player goes. I tried VS and the Firefight modes, and found that I preferred the Firefight mode.

I love pornography. It saves everybody time, and prevents cooties.
