Small things like the females behavior or how the scene is written or animated can even out less ideal looks, but if a female is too far out of the spectrum for me I won't be interested in a scene.
Yeah I think this is the norm whether you enjoy male assertive content or female assertive content.
I once saw a guy explaining how he can only ever get off if the characters have romantic feelings for each other and had a lot of build up towards scenes, the characters appearances were completely irrelevant to him.
<Doubt>
If the character's appearance were irrelevant than they could be two men, or two tentacle monsters and it wouldn't matter.
which is why this series is great, there should be something for anyone no matter the tastes, as long as one does not expect any females to take sexual punishment in this series. Sadly, no game ever seems to be able to balance that out properly, its usually ondesides in one direction.
ROBF is primarily maledom in game structure.
Also most visual novels with a story focus are legitimately scared to not be vanilla. When that level of effort is put into their works, they'll take less risk in sexual content, and make the sexual content traditional. So guy moves during sex, girls sometimes have foreplay scenes.
So games like Yumina the Ethereal, Aselia the Eternal, Kamidori Alchemy Meister, and Kami no Rhapsody are not one-sided in any direction.
Some Dieselmine games are also in the middle when it comes to sexual content focus. Like the foxgirl inn-keeper, hospital platformer, and game where you go see your big-tittied childhood friend in your childhood home.
When it comes to doujin circles that are smaller though yeah, those are not only higher in quantity, but higher in focused appeal. Like seriously. Why get together in a small team and make a game if you aren't going to focus on your fetishes? There are exceptions like ROBF where the programmer and designer are on completely different sides of the spectrum and find a good middle ground in sexual content expression though.
EDIT: I think you're missing your analysis by a bit with this statement.
some guys imagine themselves to be in the sub position very hard and they basically get off on the act itself, not necessarily any attraction towards the female, so they can tolerate monstrous looking females if the scene is fulfilling some of their fantasies specifically.
I think you got it perfectly right a sentence before.
Small things like the females behavior or how the scene is written or animated can even out less ideal looks, but if a female is too far out of the spectrum for me I won't be interested in a scene.
It's the same with the sexual content. It's a balancing act, and the range of the balancing act is different for different people.

Anyways, yeah, I still think it's super weird that Xelvy draws for MGQ. Like
super duper weird. If you check his pixiv, his sexual content has tons of hideous looking monsters absolutely mauling women to tears, huge muscular guys, NTR, and women in such compromising sexual situations they're in tears of pain. He does femdom here and there as well, but is that all it takes?
Makes me wish I could go to Japan just to attend one of the comiket's and hear about Toro Toro Resistance's story. So many artists work on the project too. The producer of the game must be amazing.
Does anyone know if there was a vote for the most popular monsters in the game?
