RPG RPG Maker Vore Loli Shota [Toro Toro Resistance] もんむす・くえすと! ぱらどっくすRPG中章 / Monster Girl Quest: Paradox (RJ201109)

My guess is that he was dirt cheap, probably helped to get more monsters into part 3 for little cash, and then for paradox they massively increased the number of monsters he drew, which fit into the concept of most Tartarus monsters being insufferable abominations, all while costing a lot less money but boosting the number of monsters, this is the most likely scenario if you ask me. A little less likely, but perhaps the audience enjoyed the scenes a bit too much for the developers liking and getting in some Xelvy stuff was supposed to motivate the people to actually fear the monsters instead of just drooling over them. There could of course also be a small chance that the dev either overestimated the number of people who are into getting swallowed by incredibly weird monsters, or they just wanted every possible fetish to be included and thought Xelvy was as far out as it could get.

I am massively annoyed by Xelvy, not because of all the funny looking abominations, I do not mind them was long as they are irrelevant Tartarus grunts, but the guy somehow manages to make basically every scene unenjoyable for me even with rather basic stuff like a normal female blowjob scene, which sucks because they put him in charge of relevant characters like Sonya and several archangels. Guess theres still dozens of monsters in the game one can enjoy, but the guy is definitely a nuisance to me and I would pay more money for the game if his creations were not in it, or if he was a minor artist instead of his monsters appearing in legions. This means the message that the hentai pics for one or several archangels were drawn by someone else is an incredibly positive one for me, and that can only be an improvement.
If I'm honest, I've never liked like 50% of the sexual content in monster girl quest.

's designs are pretty unattractive for the most part, and his girls are either generally hideous or involve vore. Not into vore, and not into girls that are 70% monster 30% human. Monsters like Sphinx and the underwater octopus type for instance are not monsters I want to lose to.

For me, the Xelvy scenes that hit are really good in my opinion. Riot's scene with the scratches in the wall and Knightroid's rape scene are pretty nice.
His design sense puts a lot of personality into the girls in comparison to a lot of other girls. He also likes to use the environment in his scenes as well.

I agree that I dislike a good portion of the girls he draws though.

I also wish Xelvy had less of a presence in MGQ. Unfortunately, as pointed out earlier, most of the Archangels' H-scenes are in fact drawn by him. Micaela is the only exception.

The most popular monsters aren't done by Xelvy or Setouchi.
The most popular monsters are the big tittied imp and her two flatchested friends, as well as the monsters drawn by Kenkou Cross like Alice and Erubetie.
Thomas and Cool's monsters are pretty popular as well.
For Thomas though it might be story reasons. His monsters are all important characters.

Xelvy is one of the most important artists in paradox and is probably the most devoted person on the project. He makes most of the story related CG too.

His girls are not sexy though. <:^)

I think that is also part of the fun of the game. Being forced by females who are not necessarily sexually attractive

Sexuality is different for everyone.
I think the girls have to be attractive in at least some manner or people wouldn't get anything. Like... if you were being forced by a male (who if you're straight you feel no sexual attraction to) it would be the same as being forced by a female you don't find sexually attractive.

I agree that the aggression of the girls does make them more attractive to me. I don't find some body types attractive, like loli's don't really do anything for me. But chrome's scene is sexy because of the scene composition. I don't find those bodies completely unattractive though.

It really depends on the person. I for example focus on the female in every single scene in every game, be it male on female rape, female on male rape, or consensual, the females have all my attention and I do not care one bit whether what I am playing as is a man, a monster or a puppet. Because the females have all the attention, I need them to be somewhat attractive to me, because if they aren't I would focus on something I don't like and thats not a good scenario. I could never get off on girls that I think are ugly, I can manage to get off even on females that are not my type, but downright ugly? No chance. Small things like the females behavior or how the scene is written or animated can even out less ideal looks, but if a female is too far out of the spectrum for me I won't be interested in a scene.

Other people focus on different things though, some guys imagine themselves to be in the sub position very hard and they basically get off on the act itself, not necessarily any attraction towards the female, so they can tolerate monstrous looking females if the scene is fulfilling some of their fantasies specifically. I once saw a guy explaining how he can only ever get off if the characters have romantic feelings for each other and had a lot of build up towards scenes, the characters appearances were completely irrelevant to him. I'd say for most people, the character models are indeed important though, which is why this series is great, there should be something for anyone no matter the tastes, as long as one does not expect any females to take sexual punishment in this series. Sadly, no game ever seems to be able to balance that out properly, its usually ondesides in one direction.

Yeah I think this is the norm whether you enjoy male assertive content or female assertive content.

<Doubt>
If the character's appearance were irrelevant than they could be two men, or two tentacle monsters and it wouldn't matter.

ROBF is primarily maledom in game structure.
Also most visual novels with a story focus are legitimately scared to not be vanilla. When that level of effort is put into their works, they'll take less risk in sexual content, and make the sexual content traditional. So guy moves during sex, girls sometimes have foreplay scenes.

So games like Yumina the Ethereal, Aselia the Eternal, Kamidori Alchemy Meister, and Kami no Rhapsody are not one-sided in any direction.
Some Dieselmine games are also in the middle when it comes to sexual content focus. Like the foxgirl inn-keeper, hospital platformer, and game where you go see your big-tittied childhood friend in your childhood home.

When it comes to doujin circles that are smaller though yeah, those are not only higher in quantity, but higher in focused appeal. Like seriously. Why get together in a small team and make a game if you aren't going to focus on your fetishes? There are exceptions like ROBF where the programmer and designer are on completely different sides of the spectrum and find a good middle ground in sexual content expression though.

EDIT: I think you're missing your analysis by a bit with this statement.
some guys imagine themselves to be in the sub position very hard and they basically get off on the act itself, not necessarily any attraction towards the female, so they can tolerate monstrous looking females if the scene is fulfilling some of their fantasies specifically.

I think you got it perfectly right a sentence before.
Small things like the females behavior or how the scene is written or animated can even out less ideal looks, but if a female is too far out of the spectrum for me I won't be interested in a scene.
It's the same with the sexual content. It's a balancing act, and the range of the balancing act is different for different people.

Anyways, yeah, I still think it's super weird that Xelvy draws for MGQ. Like super duper weird. If you check his pixiv, his sexual content has tons of hideous looking monsters absolutely mauling women to tears, huge muscular guys, NTR, and women in such compromising sexual situations they're in tears of pain. He does femdom here and there as well, but is that all it takes?

Makes me wish I could go to Japan just to attend one of the comiket's and hear about Toro Toro Resistance's story. So many artists work on the project too. The producer of the game must be amazing.

Does anyone know if there was a vote for the most popular monsters in the game?

isnt it just taste? japanese h-game culture is something the west is adapting to, not the other way around, and since mostly the asian audience is paying for this content and the west is just a small bonus compared to that.... why should they stop adding his art to the game? in my opinion they should also invite other artists to add their signature to the game. for example shindol, he makes some pretty great art, tho the context, like with xelvy, is rather grim.
people need to differentiate between art and real life references. if people loose the connection between an escapism hobby and stuff they want to try in real life...thats the problem of that person and not of the art...

This is a discussion on preference, not what the game should do.
If MGQ added male femboy type characters, people could say "they wish" those characters wouldn't exist in a discussion thread about the game.

I think that they already have a lot of artists personally. More would split the financial incentive and hurt the game in my opinion.
LOL on Shindol tho. While I agree he has skill, his sexual interests are so far removed from MGQ it's not even funny. At least Xelvy's drawn monstrous designs for his girls a little bit before joining MGQ.
Me personally, I'd prefer it if all the people working on the project had similar interests sexually so there wouldn't be a falling out or any internal conflict.
What happened with ROBF still stings.

Where is this even coming from as a statement? What specific statement has anyone made that made you want to say this? Honest question btw.

In essence, MGQ does not try to make the player feel comfortable with all the situations it poses. Luka is just one more prey in a world where the mogis rule. Whether they want you as a partner, as food, or just to use you, they don't care if thery re terribly bizarre, they just see you as one more object they want to get something from. And that's the funny thing, that with those monsters if you think you are fighting for your life or to prevent them from having sex or reproducing with you. The sphinx for example seems terribly unpleasant to me, that's why their confrontation is fun, because the situation is believable. In particular, the idea that they are women, beyond the species, is already stimulating enough to remove any idea of homosexuality, men and women are essentially different, and the game makes that difference very well. But I repeat, that is the essence of this saga, you may like it more or less, but those are the sensations that the game seeks to convey with the most bizarre monsters.

Ranael killed humans from the town of luka, its pretty fucked up to be defeated by her, or in frederikas case both of them are getting raped

sure, that's what I'm talking about. With Ranael, it is the darkness of the situation that makes her more morbid (
in addition to his appearance. With Frederika it is something different, because she is nothing more than a Chrome tool, therefore there you are only satisfying the wishes of the necromancer. In general lines, in both cases you are not interested in losing to receive the scene, and that makes the combat credible, which as I say, is part of the essence of the game.

Collab event is now! well, technically soon. Update is released as soon as DLsite people finish checking through it to make sure there aren't any issues. there's also a bunch of QoL changes, like reaper offering skill deleting, or being able to register 3 parties for quick changes.

This is sooner than I expected... No official character reveals after the initial ones, huh.

After the long wait, we finally have more MGQ. Granted, it's not Part 3, but this should still be interesting.

Can anyone send me a save file ready for the new content? I lost my save file while transferring to new computer and don't want to redo everything for the collab.

Hm. Try save 99 here and talk to the white rabbit girl, took me a bit to find these saves off of a blog
