Yeah, the fucking domain is down. I don't know if this is an accident on their part, or if they deliberately aren't renewing the domain for English DLPay, but it's obnoxious as all get out. Now I have no way of purchasing anything on DLsite, the only way I could was by purchasing points through Paypal. If DLPay is gone for good, at least for English speakers, then I guess we just download everything we want illegally, like the good ol' days. You don't want my money, fine. I hope I'm wrong though, and this is just an accident that they'll amend soon, otherwise I'm honestly not gonna be happy.

With some quick searching, I did find out that you can purchase DLsite point serial codes via Tokyo Otaku Mode Shop, an alternative just in case DLPay is gone for good, I'll link the page where you can purchase, but if a moderator shuts me down for a rule I wasn't aware of, my bad bois, please forgive. 😣

Shutting it down a few montha fter starting it up - a point at which they must already have decided the fussion of both En and JP site, when dlspay was mean to allow peaople who couldn't pay with a bank card on En dlsite to buy point and as such game, would be counter-productive.
Unless the site can't work for Jp site and they need to rework it (maybe Paypal ain't wanting to work with a full jp site - I mean, it's not listed among the way to pay on the Jp dl site, even the all age page...).
 
I started testing the Tokyo Otaku Mode Shop. Even after making a purchase, there's a delay due to "routine security checks" before you can get the code.
As of writing, I haven't gotten my code yet.
 
Wonder if anyone asked DLSite about this?

come to think of it, if they lost PayPal support, things like DLPay might not be of much use to them.

That's what I did from the beginning. Like I just posted, the space where the code is supposed to be will have a message about "routine security checks".
NOW I finally got the code.
 
Yup, it's up again.

Even received a mail from dlsite about the merging, including a direct link to the point payement and the code input.
Although the dlpay is a bit hidden.

As usual, the point cna be bought by 500, 1.000, 2.000, 5.000, 10.000, 20.000.

And for now, you can only use Paypal. Another one seem to be anticipated, not sure if I can read it right - Union Pay ?

So the down of the site was more likely some big updating requiring some shutdown.


Now if they could improve the English version fo the site (like work description and title at least...)
