Actually, it should be "lose in the fight and see the new game over scene".

Is this your first time with this developer? He releases the demos piece by piece with each scene a month. That's part of the reason why he paused because he needs to string them all togather into a cohesive game.

Compare that to devs who disappear for months or even years without so much as a blog update to let you know they haven't been run over by a shopping cart or something.

Which is about 95% of dev behavior, with the final 5% only writing to let you know what new sickness they contracted.
