SIM [KISS] Custom Order Maid 3D2 + Modpack R4.10 [JAP version][VJ013971]

How to get xray mode, as on 3 and 5 screenshots? Many attempts have led to nothing
That was answered in the FAQ in the master guide.

Thank you. I'm been able to get the game running with almost no issues (beyond hair textures and minimal log spamming):

I'm sure something in my previous log gave you the indication that I had updated to 3.xx by mistake, but I'm curious if you could point you to what provided that impression? I'm not convinced that I did in fact update to the 3.xx branch since everything seems connected and working now despite that log spam and this single red issue in the log at boot:
Line 448 and 632 from your log tells the game version 3.16. Before that I saw COM3D2.5.GearMenuFix.Patch.dll which is installed by CMI only on version 3.xx.
You shouldn't have any errors though, no matter which version you are on.
Modded hairs rarely have color textures. You are supposed to only use free color.
If you are still running on 3.16 then I sugest updating to 3.23 and then see what errors you get. You should report them on CustomMaid discord if you want them fixed.

After some research, I think I discovered my problem. When I was updating the DLC I was unsure of which files I was supposed to be running, and attempted to install some of the files for version 2.5. The guide makes it clear that it isn't needed to update the files for CM3D2, but it was not immediately clear that I needed to update *only* the version of the game I would be using.

I performed a destructive reinstall with "I want nothing!" from CMI, then I reinstalled it as directed by the guide. After dumping the difference module and Eng translation files back into the game files and overwriting, the game started up with no issues in the log at startup. Horray, and thank you!

I don't understand what you mean by "attempted to install some of the files for version 2.5." Are you currently on version 2.xx or 3.xx (aka COM3D2.5) ?
How did you downgrade ? I guess one way to downgrade is to do a manual check with the torrent client and revert the modified files then install latest update. There will be some leftovers from 3.xx but hopefully they'd be neutralized. I think it's the paths.dat that tells the game what files are installed and what to use. So if an arc file is not in the paths.dat it will hopefully be ignored. This is just an assumption.

So I've decided to giving fixing missing subs in DAN! GAN! Party!! Karaoke ver. All maids a go again. Tried renaming the folder under Mod, made a typo and got an unexpected breakthrough:
com3d2_dgpk2.png
It seems that this game checks whether folder "dgkp2" exists first, then try to get the .nei file. This could be the bug that was fixed in the english version.

So, the missing sub is resolved by adding empty folder "dgkp2" into "Mod/csv_rhythm_action".

I don't get it. So it works with empty dgpk2 folder but not if you put the dance_subtitle.nei that I gave you inside ? It says right there that the subtitles were disabled because it couldn't find that nei file.

The line that says something about subtitles only appear when the misspelled folder name (dgkp2, with the k and p swapped) is present. It seems that after the game checked that the typo folder name is present, it will then get the .nei file with the correct folder. Just think of it as a bug where the wrong folder is being checked first.

So you need to have both an empty dgkp2 folder and the correct dgpk2/dance_subtitle.nei for the subtitles to work ?

Since I doubted I ever actually "upgraded" to the 3.xx branch, I just overwrote my game directory with the original game files, then reinstalled CMI with "nothing", then reinstalled CMI with the AIO pack. Then I dumped the CMI difference module and ENG translation files back into the game directory and called it a day. Game now boots up perfectly (2.xx branch and same save files are accessible) with no issues or logspam.

You still have to update to 2.23. And who knows what other dlc were broken during the downgrade. But if it works it works.

Interestingly, since I had previously installed the update to 2.23 performing the mentioned steps *did not* revert me to the older 2.xx version. The game still boots up as 2.23 even though I didn't update it again after overwriting the files with the original game data. Having played a dozen hours or so, I've yet to find any issues with DLC or functionality that is broken, so I'm calling this a win. Thanks for the help.

I'd still force install 2.23. Tick that checkbox when you install it.

Allow me to extend my thanks for taking the effort with download links, documentation, and sources for being able to finally play COM3D2. The only issue I have right now is that the game takes too long to load, even on a 970 evo plus nvme ssd lol. Its games like these which need the next gen storage tech (direct storage).

i cant seem to get to the master guide at all, i get an error that says something was wrong and the process was aborted, anyone know how to fix this? i copy the link right from the decoded base64 thing

I checked and it works perfectly fine on my end.
Try a different browser. Maybe you have an aggresive adblock plugin. Try a vpn if your isp blocks that domain. Or disable your vpn if it considers that the link could be malicious. Or it could be a temporary issue on their end. One time the platform didn't load for me for an entire day. If you can't get it to work I can dm you a transcript of the guide

Do I really need to DL the modpack r4.6 to get personalities from CM3D2? I want a minimal installation with only the uncensor, translations and basic body/character customizations but it says some personalities won't work from CM3D2?
The modpack has nothing to do with personalities. All you need is to dl both cm and com and link com to cm. Then update com and install whatever dlc you want. If you want uncensor and translation you have to install CMI and then install the translation module linked in the guide. The modpack adds just another customization layer and ensures that you have all the tiny parts needed to recreate various downloaded presets. That is all.

The translation has hundreds of thousands of script files. It is expected to take some time to extract/delete/load. More so if you do it on a hdd. The translation pack if installed correctly cannot break or freeze the game. The game is expected to load in 10+ minutes for the first time until it builds the caches.

So it will take that long everytime I open the game? (Sorry bout de dumb question I'm unsure about what cache is.)
For me, with everything installed it takes around 10 minutes every time. I just launch it and forget about it. It's not the mods that slow down loading this much. It's the absurd amount of dlc. The more you add the slower it gets. Without the standard optimization plugins from CMI it gets much, much slower.
This game is not suited for a quick fap if that's what you are asking.

Hi. Any chance get newest dlc from another source? Mediafire so slow, its literally 50kb/s
PS i correctly undestand, x0 its just ntr expansion?

I get around 1MBps. MF is the only one that doesn't have download quota. Use the alternative list linked at the bottom if you can find anything in it.
For normal COM I've been told that X0 only adds some ntr in guest mode.

if it wasnt mentioned, for auto translate plugin may need setup api-key in config for use google
