This thread is intended to be for all moderator announcements for the H-Section. Use this thread to keep up to date with any changes to rules or other news regarding the state of the forum.



Original OP:
The rules have been cleaned up. All existing threads need to comply within a certain time, or they will be deleted. No exceptions.

Threads that are not complying with the rules will be moved to the H-Section until they are fixed.
  • Threads that do not have enough information in their OP will be deleted in two weeks, on September 9, 2018, 12:00 AM EST. They are currently moved out to the Hentai section. I understand that some OPs are not even in the forum anymore, so if anybody would like to volunteer to write up an OP for a particular thread, PM me what you want on the post and I will handle it.
  • Threads not following the title format currently will not be deleted, but I will be editing each one of them in the coming weeks to get them in compliance. Any new threads made during this time not complying with the format will have until September 9, 2018, 12:00 AM EST to fix it.
  • Threads with incomplete games that are funded by Patreon-type models will be moved to the Under Construction section for the time being.
If you think a thread that has been moved should not be there, PM me with an explanation why.

The November 1st locks have occurred. With that, we will no longer be going through the two week cycles per lock wave. We will now be immediately locking any threads that get moved to that section. All other rules will apply.
 
The rules for the Translation section and the H-Games section have been updated.

For technical help on translating (text hooking, software issues, etc), either post in the appropriate thread in the Translation section, or, if a thread does not exist there, post in the technical help section. Refrain from having extended conversations regarding how to translate a game yourself in the game thread.

A small change to the wording of the thread OP rules has been made. To clarify, listing the fetishes/kinks a game caters to is not a mandatory requirement; there is no issue with leaving that out of your OP.

Also, another reminder that, while long, information-filled OPs are welcome and encouraged, they should not be seen as the bare minimum; if you wish to make a new thread for a game, just fill out the basic information asked for in the rules.
 
The rules regarding linkbegging have been updated. Accounts found to be linkbegging and have less than three posts will now be permanently banned. All other infractions will now be met with a two week ban that will double for each subsequent infraction.
 
The rules regarding linkbegging and thread creation have been updated. We will be running a 4 month trial period, ending on November 30th, with more lax linkbegging rules. Thread OP requirements have now been reduced to just requiring gameplay information. Please see the rules thread for complete details.
 
The rules have been updated regarding AI generated artwork. Games utilizing AI generated assets for character art must have their threads tagged with the new AI Generated prefix.

The rules regarding thread creation have been minorly updated for clarification. If a game has a limited amount of gameplay to describe, such as being a normal VN, then posters need to specify as such.
 
The rules have been updated regarding AI art dumps. Simply put, we will be deleting threads that are meant for just spamming advertisements to AI art and users who do this will be treated as spammers and banned.
