Heyyyyy , Sorry to bother you, I was wondering if you know how to fix this . when i quit edit maid.The camera seems to be far away and the picture is wrong, but the pose is okay

Undocumented glitch. Someone reported it once on discord back in 2022.
If I were to guess it loads the small icon instead of preset thumbnail. See in Thumb folder if you have all 3 thumbnails for that preset "_tmp_thum_somecode.png", "icon_thum_somecode.png", "kasizuki_somecode.png").
You can also edit the preset thumbnail "_tmp_thum_somecode.png" file from there with something you made with SceneCapture.

thanks for reply! i have report the issue to the author in discord , and he advice me to delete the scipt "load_small_thumbs" . And the bug is gone;)

I was going to suggest removing that "load_small_thumbs" script but I'm not sure what it does exactly. The description in CMI documentation is very vague:
"This script allows you to change your maid’s thumbnail pictures by placing the corresponding image in the thumbs folder and loading any thumbs from it too".

PainBrioche explained it further:
"COM3D2\Thumb\ You'll find every thumbnails the game made. frame_back.png and frame_single.png can be edited to change background and foreground respectively. You can also edit big portraits as you like. For smaller ones you'll need a script otherwise the game won't load them. "

Ok so I can edit the preset image and the script allows the game to understand my edit.
But this doesn't explain why it would load the small icon for the portrait. Unless somewhere it failed to generate the portrait image and it loaded the next available thing. Perhaps I can imagine such issue occurring when you load a save on fresh installed repack with the Thumbs folder cleaned.
 
I might be miss remebering something but I have an issue going on with my MPS showing claiming their was 2 Giga Ai Kiss Cafes? the second one is loading but the first one is not. It black screens I'm using ultimate version back when it was 2022.


Also I just tried to go back to the old Uploads section and see if maybe it's missing that DLC however the -- [COM3D2 Shop] [Giga - Ai Kiss Set]: is no longer available so I can't check if that's what it was missing. Could that please be reuploaded? Or is my MPS just being weird there was only one Ai Kiss Cafe? 2 Ai Kiss Cafes.png

In all fairness Bepin is claiming I'm missing the opemcafe_aikiss and opemcafe_aikiss_night after I click those. If that's true which DLC is that? is it the one that I already mentioned?

Ignore Aikiss2 in that case because again that one loads no problem just not the top ones.

only aikiss2 exists as a asset_bg.
I have all dlc installed and it's not in there. It's not in CM either.

Use a vpn.
Maybe you have a browser extension that blocks the page
DLC are optional. It's up to you what to install depending on how old your installation/repack is.
You can't expect someone to reupload 100s of GB to mega. So no, there is no alternative to the torrent. Except maybe if I give you the directly.
 
Ported bodies are useless in COM. Same goes for ported faces unless they have very specific traits that can't be accurately reproduced with standard GP01fb face.
My blender skills are too basic to be of any real help to you. All I can do is test in game and attempt to fix menus and material issues.
To make a preset I need the hair, hair acc, skin tattoos, eyes and clothes. I can help with texture editing, separating eye highlights from pupils, extract tattoos from skin, etc.
You can upload whatever you have on Gdrive and dm me the link
DM you the mod pack link, took me a while to organize those mods

Sorry for bother . I have encountered an insurmountable difficulty. :(
After my investigation, this problem is caused by translation plug-ins such as YAT or i18T.
The specific description is: After installing CMI, when starting the game for the second time, the plug-in will be lost, and the F5 plug-in will become blank

BTW , i used to dump the game script and translate it from JAP to CH, Do you think the problem will appear when I modified the F5 xml file to cause conflicts
 
I located the cause of the error because a word in the ModsParam.xml file was misspelled, resulting in a parameter transmission error .Maybe this error is very uncommon. .
I still want to leave a comment, to help someone who may encounter the same error, it exists in a very popular Chinese addon package

Does the plugin work without a config xml by generating a new one at first startup ?
I find it hard to believe that a simple typing mistake in the config would cause catastrophic plugin failure.. You'd think that whoever made the plugin put some checks in place for default values and filter out unexpected input. But if it works it works...
Can't AddModSlider plugin be translated with IMGUI like all other ? I never even realized that it might need a translation because I only look at the slider ID

U are right, in the autosave plug-in of CMI, there is a function called autoload that causes the loss of the plug-in. I tested it many times after closing it, and it did not cause the loss of the plug-in again 1691516515922.png

Because i need the txt message to be translated , so i replace it with a new given xml file , and its miss spell cause the blank

Sorry but I wanted to know if there is a translation for the "emulation" mode of CM3D2? Because it is a bit annoying that sometimes the auto-translator stops working.

it's possible to use CM3D2_Sugoi_Script(XUAT).txt inside in COM3D2\BepinEx\Translation\en\Text
Also you should set a fallback endpoint in COM3D2\BepinEx\config\AutoTranslatorConfig.ini
Endpoint=GoogleTranslate
FallbackEndpoint=DeepLTranslate
Or the other way around. DeepL is slower but more accurate.

What's wrong with the default CMI textured bodies ?
Not to mention that there is an entire modpack linked in this thread that includes a bunch of master bodies. They're not high quality but there aren't many master mods to begin with. I'm pretty sure that I included most of them.
Your other option is to make a male maid and use XtMasterSlave to overlay it over the master body. This is not a perfect solution nor is it permanent and is difficult to configure.
The last option is to upgrade to COM3D2.5 with KissCharacterEditSystem (KCES) where you have a brand new master edit mode and you can edit master bodies the same way you can edit maids. Where's the catch you might ask ? Why don't we all use it then ? Because you lose mod support. You can't even uncensor the new maid/master bodies. You can still use the old maid bodies with mods but they are not compatible with the new master body and vice versa.
