Since they announced ver. 2 of the game, does that mean that it is not yet finished? (I haven't played the game yet so I can't really tell)

it's already pass 1.0 which mean game is finished, anything beyond is bug fix and post-game content addition, this is how versioning for game usually goes
the 2.0 is basically major post-game content addition
 
i do wonder about 2.0 content for this game since we go back to our world at the end of the game will we be able to do it before the final boss? or will something happen to make us go back.

actually,
we did go back to our world in the end. but the story mentioned how we just going back temporarily to greet the queen and send back everyone else who want to go home, post-ending we back to the home base at mirror world as the girl mention "we still going on trip on this world" or something close, i forgot that bit.
i mean, the reason we ended up in the mirror world to begin with is collaboration work between Valak and Mirage, trying to save succubus from Wonderland from Demon attempt of destroying it and usurp Valak as the world creator, so of course after everything is done we can go back home, it's just temporary refugee area
but anyway we actually can go back and forth between the world (no, you can't go to wonderland and play, only lorewise)

    Feb - DIW Ver 1.40 (has the introductory part of 1.50, adding 2-3 H-scenes)
    March-April - DIW Ver 1.50 and also the release of Dreamin' Wisteria
    May-June - DIW Ver 2.0
    Plus manga updates and interviews of other circles
  • Online sales for merchandise will begin in February
  • Various fanart is showcased.
  • Supporters get Skeb request art and preview art for DIW and Dreamin' Wisteria
 
so what's 1.5 going to be about? since 2.0 is the cult stuff with collab

  • To update your game, you must redownload it from DLsite.
  • This adds 1 new area, Vacation Island. It's accessible from Opal Port Town after an event in Mirror Town. Here you can fight and recruit Drain Succubus and Downer Succubus.
  • If you've cleared Version 1's story, there's an event in Mirror Town to recruit someone called Lunar. She gets a titjob scene on Vacation Island.
  • A new persistent status will be added. This makes it so if you reach 0 Vigor, you're brought to the brink of orgasm(?) and gain a lot of Mirror Presence.
  • C105 mail order goods are now sold out.
  • The competition among fans to add a succubus to DIW continues until 23rd Feb.
 
so how do you make drain succubus spawn the blog said to get drain of 200 max vitality from her/free hugs which i did, i had around 7k hp drained it to around 4000 and she not there, i did cheat to make her spawn so i could recruit her, but i would like to know what i was doing wrong to recruit her normally

  • Among the succubi added in DIW Ver2 will be the Gal Succubus. Her level is unspecified and she's described as a free spirit who loves seducing and teasing humans, and who's got many friends.

Can't find any clues with the theif quest, after the yuri scene the game kinda just leaves me in the dark as to what to do next.

  • 2 more special succubi from the contest will be implemented:
    • A gloomy Lamia succubus who wants to return to the womb and abduct and confine
    • Lolita Mama Succubus (huge breasts, same height as the protagonist)
  • Some of the chosen succubi from this contest will be in the next game, Succubus Archipelago
  • Inoue (main guy behind 62studio) has been suffering from COVID and a cold for a while, but has now recovered. DIW Version 1.5 will be delayed as a result (some screenshots are included).

  • Succubus Puttel has been updated to 3.22. This fixes a bug in which some NPCs would chase you.
  • Followers get production notes for DIW:
  • The game's title changes partway through to Golden Succubus and Devil's Reaper. This is a pun in Japanese, in which "mirror" (鏡) includes the kanji for "gold" (金) and the strokes of "seed" (タネ) are included in "reaper" (死神).
  • SIW had a theme of sisters with both Lewis + Carroll and Alice + Lorina. This is continued in DIW with Mirage and Flow.
  • Devils who reveal themselves in another devil's world are greatly weakened. This is why 62-chan disguises herself as Costume-chan, and why Symmetry lack the full power of a devil (hence why you can beat them).
  • Demon's real name isn't actually "Demon". She was once a stray devil driven by curiosity and imitation, who took semen and power from humans who show interest in. After a certain incident, she lost her power and was wounded, only to be saved by 62-chan, who shared some power with her. But Demon actually set up a magical trap in secret, and by imitating 62-chan she was revived with greater power than before. This trap also caused their powers to be shared such that if one were to disappear, the other would also disappear.
  • Demon copies how 62-chan used to speak. In response to this, 62-chan changed how she speaks.
  • Demon took on her current name because the evil ideas someone has can be called their "inner demons".
  • Across 62studio's works, devils never actually use their real names. If a devil's true name became known, her existence would become "fixed" and she'd lose her power. Also, Alice's name is apparently related to a devil.
  • DIW's story was originally planned to be more depressing (and inspired by LISA), but then the second half was remade to be more positive. Another inspiration was Digimon World.
And for a production note that isn't spoileriffic, there's a secret event that's a homage to Digimon World. To access this:
  • Obtain a Game Console? from a house in Sinus Town.
  • Go south from Guest House and use the Game Console?.
  • Talk to the succubus marked by HINT on the north of this area.
 
personally speaking,
  • i don't mind the game having more dark tone to it, i mean heck, it's already borderline depressing when either Lewis or Caroll got turned into dark succubus at some point, them turning back normal is just pure plot armor tbh
  • who was Symmetry again, i completely forgot and i can't find her
  • the whole rule about demon cannot interfere on fellow devil territory is classic, but it confuse me as to why Costume-chan, or should i say Valak, cannot show herself in the game at all. I thought Wonderland and Mirror world is her territory. In fact her name got revealed just put her on massive disadvantage already
  • speaking of name, i'm more curious about Wonderland mc connection with Puttel mc, the japanese name レート and アズレート. This really trigger my alarm. In fact the dark secret in DiW imply the relation of two more than it seems, one of it is mysterious succubus who said "do not forget the name" in one of the secret area...
on slightly unrelated note, if you input the name "アズレート" when changing name, a series of binary code appeared on screen, i can't decipher it. Anyone here familiar with ARG game enough to decipher it?

Symmetry are the pair of devils available as bonus content near the Succubus House.
