Free Demo Download and Developer Blog:

From the maker of the Taima Miko RPG series ( (DLsite link is blocked), Taima Miko Yuugi, Resurrected Shrine Maiden / TAIMA MIKO on steam) comes a 2D H-action game that aims to have the same depth of progression, combat and perversion as you've come to expect from this developer. The game has an english setting, but for now it's machine translation quality. Pretty sure the Dev said he'll get a proper translation closer to release.

This is a pretty straightforward 2D action game. You start on an overworld map, and drop into handcrafted levels that have varying levels of difficulty and enemy strength. Playing as Exorcist Maiden Yosora, you run, jump, and fight through the level to get to the exit at the other end. There's no story yet so you just go from one end of the level to the other. Slash open containers and enemies to get currency and upgrade materials, then spend them on a massive skill tree to unlock new moves, passive buffs and basic stat increases. Boss monsters will drop a huge amount of loot but give you only a short time to grab as much as you can; it's the return of "Hyahaaa Time!!!" Monsters like demon rats, snake women (not the sexy kind unfortunately) and various yokai will throw themselves at the Yosora to either knock her out with normal attacks, or drain her strength with lewd attacks which function as grabs. Both your spellcasting and melee attacks use up your stamina bar (called shrine power iirc), and pleasure from grabs will slowly lower your maximum shrine power. Getting grabbed too often will weaken you rapidly and situations can spiral out of Yosora's control. Isn't that exciting?

The first level acts as a tutorial but here are the controls. WASD controls movement, with A and S going left or right, W used for climbing ledges and S for dropping through platforms/crouching. Double tap A or S to sprint, and press Space to jump. Shift lets you roll and has some invincibility. Left mouse is for sword attacks, click for light combo and hold for heavy swing. Right click goes into spellcast mode. Default spell is healing/regen, and holding a direction when you release the right mouse button will choose a different spell. For example, you start with earthquake on RMB+Down. Mash everything to break out of grabs (WASD+Space+Mouse Buttons). ESC Pauses and brings up the menu, ALT zooms the camera in, and arrow keys move the camera around. Tab also pauses without obscuring the screen. Hold enter to open containers if you don't like scattering money everywhere. CTRL is block, and if you time it right before an attack you can parry. As you gain more abilities through the skill tree, some combos will be unlocked using these controls. These are recurring skills from the Taima Miko series.

The H content appears as animated grab attacks from enemies with a nicely detailed art style. Most grabs usually start with a lot of groping and licking, and sometimes escalate into penetration if grabs proceed long enough and Yosora's clothes are destroyed enough. The assailants are usually monsters and animals, generally not on the humanoid side. There's not really much tentacle content yet, to my disappointment. One boss has vore in it, FYI. There's no dialogue outside of the default blurbs Yosora says during grabs (which are badly translated atm), but usually these games involve a lot of dialogue during grabs. We'll just have to see later in development.

You may notice that I've already tagged this thread with Unknown/Hiatus. Unfortunately, the dev just said in a recent blogpost that he has to take a break for a while and he's sorry, right after he uploaded the latest update version for supporters without any patch notes because he said he doesn't have any time. I think he's going through something difficult right now, so I wish him the best as I've become a huge fan of his works and his style.

Am I stupid or what--- OP said it's free demo download but the link redirect to 500 yen supporter download (?)

This is the free Trial I think?

Could have sworn I grabbed the right link but I guess not, I'll update it.

The June 15th Ci-En post accidentally has the download link available to Followers instead of paid supporters. That is the latest version of the game, but probably won't be available for long.

Overall this feels like a really high quality platformer, was surprised how smooth the controls are.
Not a fan of collecting coins, feels a bit too tedious to interact with every container, and some of the coins fly away and are not collected instantly, require a bit of backtracking. Probably spent 70% of the time running after coins and because of that levels feel longer than they actually are.

The new version fixes the spread of coins and there's a later upgrade that gives you an attraction radius. The latest update being free by mistake and the dev not fixing it at all but instead going on a break is why I'm kinda worried about his well being.

You know, this reminds me I don't think the prior game with Miko (which is her name, I think), ever got its English translation.
I have mixed feelings on this one though. The maker has a nice artstyle, and a nice character just... they only get ero'd by very... weird things.

I preferred when they were straight animals or monsters instead of these yokai with their weird stylized faces. the fact that the wet woman (snake woman) looks like that is just such a waste...

It's literally the same enemies from the other game.

I am playing this game now, and ran into a big green safe that has a caption saying "There's no key". Does that mean there really is no key, or that a key must be found to open it?

There is another green safe in the "Cliff with Puddle". Same thing... I can't open it and haven't seen the key anywhere.
Speaking of Cliff with Puddle, I can't clear that stage because after the big battle I can't make the jump to get to the exit, and I have to go back the way I came in and it doesn't clear apparently unless you travel all the way through past that jump.
Ah! There is a key somewhere, it shows it in the item inventory:

Based on the previous games, "There's no key" is probably an indication that you need a key to open the safes and you don't currently have one. Whether they are currently in the game, I'm not sure. They were fairly uncommon in previous games, so my not seeing one yet, isn't necessarily an indicator that the game doesn't have any at all yet. Has anyone else found a key so far?

The keys are just very rare. Usually I get them from bosses but they're not guaranteeed there either.

The developer still seems to be MIA sadly, I really hope he's okay. He did announce he was gonna take a break so at least he didn't just disappear outright.

Yeah, given that announcement, I assume something big came up in his personal life. While I would hope we see something from them before too long, it might not be until next year that we see sings of life.
