Overview:

Battle Love is the first erotic turn-based battle creator where you can design Battlers using your own assets. Once your creations are ready, you can challenge them in thrilling encounters that bring your imagination to life! To help you get started, Battle Love already includes a Battler (Sana) for you to challenge. You can also use her as a reference when creating your own Battlers. The H-content is currently featured during the battles. Additional pre- and post-battle events are planned for future releases.

Game Features:
• Learn to create your own Battlers with the built-in guide
• Adjust core attributes to set your Battler’s level
• Assign multiple effects and Quick Time Events to actions
• Create dialogues that trigger visual and sound effects
• Challenge a unique AI for engaging encounters
• Share your Battlers with the community

Controls:
The control scheme follows the conventions of typical turn-based battle systems. Use the left mouse button to select actions, while right-clicking provides additional information. You can also hold Ctrl to skip dialogue, or hide the dialogue window by scrolling the mouse wheel or pressing Space.

This could have serious potential, if taken the right way, and given the right amount of attention.

I mean, sure, RPG Maker can outclass this in detail, but if you worked hard on this, it could easily outclass RPG Maker in terms of detail,
and ease of use.

- Option for single still-image battlers (For those who don't want to use AI or have a neatly pre-packed folder of images, but still want to 'battle' a specific character)
- (Optional) Addable sound effects/voice effects
- Variety for dialogue lines per action (Maybe a max of 10-20)
- Add/more status ailments
- More attack styles (Different QTE types, multi-hit attacks, etc)
- Attack effects/graphics (For different attacks, like BDSM ones, cuddling, drug-based ones etc)
- Auto-battler mode (Sit back and watch)

As for more-basic suggestions, maybe not have the text glued at the very bottom of the screen. Also options for text speed and automatic text progression.

..

Well, that's enough praise, now for the "Brutal crushing reality" part of my review.

This will never take off, get popular, and likely won't even be completed.
Since it cannot be used for monetization, your biggest demographic (AI "artists") will not give a crap about using it.

I get the feeling this is going to turn into another "Super deepthroat" scenario, where the game itself quickly dwindles in
popularity, but leaves behind a brief but active underground following of enthusiastic modders who create a decent library
of custom battlers, but due to said community being specific to a discord server or a random forum post, the overall
popularity will dwindle and the game will be swiftly forgotten.

Still, honestly a cool idea though.

Thanks for taking the time to give your feedback. I really appreciate you seeing the potential in the project. I’d like to go into a few of your suggestions in more detail:

The Battler Creator allows users to add sound effects (e.g., voice lines). Each dialogue can contain multiple dialogue lines (20+), and multiple dialogues can be attached to a single action. For Sana, my goal was to keep the dialogue at a moderate length so that the flow of the game is maintained. Status effects, new QTE types, and visual effects will be added as development progresses. I also really like the idea of multi-hit attacks! Having the dialogue window at the bottom of the screen was a deliberate design choice, allowing as much of the character sprites as possible to remain visible. Additionally, the window dynamically adjusts to the amount of text and expands upwards from the bottom. Text speed and automatic text progression would be nice additions, and I’ll definitely keep them in mind. I understand the limitations of how custom Battlers can currently be shared. However, I wouldn't rule out other ways of sharing them becoming available as the project develops. In any case, I'm quite optimistic about the future. This project has been very close to my heart for a long time, so I'm definitely committed to it.
