Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

He DID say not to go crazy with the non-magic items. Also, a bag of holding can puncture and become useless. Then it sucks to be you.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Yes I did, though I didn't know it would fit in the cheap one :)

Also, in response to Tass' earlier statement about limiting prestige levels to 2/class at the start, you do know that it is impossible to meet the all the requirements for a prestige class before level 5, right? Which makes it impossible to get more than a sengle prestige level, period, during character creation, since we are starting at level six, right?

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Yeah, I probably couldn't explain why Granth would have a portable ram or a rowboat anyway so I decided to drop those, but the thought of running around with a rowboat in your pack seems funny.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Oh come on, you can never be too prepared :)

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Don't worry about the traps with my hit points I'll probably be able to run through them all.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Is the open/close spell allowed to work as implied by its better pronunciation of 'open clothes'?

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

If it is I can't wait to enter the chamber full of drow priestesses.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Actually, out of the main places in the story only one of them has traps, and besides that one just one of the side quest dungeons. Anyway, there are a lot of people you can recruit to assist you over the course of the campaign, though some of them will only show up for the final assault. I could always add a rogue if no one else joins and you guys end up needing one.

I've seen a few prestige classes you could potentially get at level 3 if you built your character properly. That's beside the point anyway, I just needed some arbitrary restriction.

Not any piece, just something a level 6 character would reasonably have, and no bags of holding at the start. A ram or a rowboat wouldn't help you anyway, there aren't any relevant rivers and if you get bogged down at a door, you're probably screwed anyway.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Thread for character sheets pl0x?

Edit: Made a thread for the character sheets for us, but it's up to Tass if he wants to make an "official" one or not.

Looking through your char there Ryu, you have 50ft of Hempen Robe, and I don't think your bonus spell for 4th level spells count until you have a normal spell of that level :)

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Don't worry about the hempen robe he's just a really tall hippy.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Ok, just so long as he doesn't hotbox the caravan again, I'm tired of understanding the familiar :)

Changed to "rope", ty.

Also, the 4th level slot is something I need Tass's approval for. It wouldn't be used for 4th level spells, just lower level ones enhanced by metamagic.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Normally, they don't count until you learn a spell of that level. But, in the words of the Celebrity Deathmatch ref: I'll allow it!

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Sweet. And now to push my luck even further:

Dragon Disciple levels grant bonus spells, and when achieved you need to select the spell level. Am I allowed to select lvl 4?

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Sure. I don't see why not.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Are you using any forgotten realms languages or should i just not worry about them.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

No region specific dialects will be necessary. Everyone you might want to talk to will speak common, or at least some language that the NPCs will understand. Elven, Draconic, Abyssal, and Goblin will let you talk to everyone in the game. Common will let you talk to every relevant NPC except one guy that you may or may not meet.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Okey-dokey then.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches D&D 3.5

Btw Ronny, your character loses his illiteracy since he multiclassed. just thought I'd point that out.
