Shrugs as she looks them over, "There's... little reason to kill them... just leave them tied up..." She starts down the road towards the inn.

"Alright." Malacet says. "We shouldn't tarry here, let's go."

She shrugs the cloak closer around herself, and gets ready to leave.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

(Moving along then.)

Leaving the surviving bandits behind, the group continues. About an hours walk later, the trees on the left side of the road clear away and a good sized building appears. A sign nailed to the wall next to the door reads, in large red text; "Burglars Bane Inn."
There doesn't seem to be anyone around, and there are muffled voices coming from inside the tavern. It's starting to get dark out, but you don't here much wildlife around even though it's mid-spring.
Trex asks; "Well, do we go in weapons drawn, or peacefully? I can sense, even out here, that this place is a hive of scum and villainy. Watch yourselves, either way."

Looks at the tavern, "No weapons out... but be ready either way."

Whichever, I don't need any weapons. Granth replies.

(Hive of scum and villainy... Shouldn't you call this Mos Eisly or however the starport from Starwars Episode 4 was spelled?)

"Weapons away is fine with me as well, don't really need them myself." Holi smirks as he points out the spikes he's covered in.

"Don't mind a den of scum and villainy once in a while anyways, they tend to drink better stuff then the good folks do." He adds.

"If we walk in with weapons drawn, it might start a fight when there wouldn't have been one otherwise..." Malacet points out from the back of the group, implying her vote at the same time.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

Aramil says "I'll be outside, I don't tend to mix well with such people. If I hear a fight break out, I'll come in to back you up. Otherwise I'll spend the night in the forest." With that, he walks around the corner of the inn and disappears into the forest.

Trex moves to the door and pulls it open, the sound of conversation from inside grows loud for second before going completely silent. As the group walks through the door one by one, each member can feel every eye on them. Glancing around the spacious common room, the bar is to the groups left, and a large room held up by thick oak columns with lit lanterns hanging from the rafters to the right, filled with tables and chairs; there are also booths running along the right and far walls. There are more than two dozen men in here, mostly human, but there's a half-elf in the far corner with a long jagged scar running down one cheek and three half-orcs sitting at a table nearby. In particular, you notice three men with slanted eyes and light skin in the room, clearly foreigners, one sitting at the bar and wearing a long dark cloak, one standing at the far side of the room wearing heavy armor with a strange sword hilt protruding from his belt, and one dressed in expensive clothes walking toward you from behind the bar. One thing is clear, however, there are too many men here for this lightly trafficed road. The two serving girls, covered in grime and missing most of their teeth, stop for only a moment before returning to work, carrying platters of cheap mugs full of frothing ale. As the man reaches you, many of the conversations come back up, and Bolm closes the door behind him.

He has a slightly high voice, and an accent none of you can recognize; his pale, almost yellowish skin and slanted, brown eyes mark him as being from somewhere to the east. You notice the man in heavy armor glaring at him.
"Welcome to Burglars Bane Inn! I am the owner and founder of this inn, how may I help you this evening? Would you like something to drink? Or lodging for the night perhaps? We have several rooms open, despite how full this place seems to be! The building was just completed you see, and most of these men were part of the work crew, and a few will be staying on as..... security. There are orcs in the area you know! But surely you know that, you must have encountered some of the men I sent to guard the road. How did they treat you? Not too gruff I hope!" He smiles broadly the entire time, and makes many motions with his hands.
Trex replies; "No, not too gruff at all. One of them was somewhat..... difficult though. We encountered orcs earlier in our journey, but they were few in number and proved little trouble to us. How many rooms do you have open? We are not a small party, after all. We are weary after a long days walk, but I am sure some us would not shun the idea of a drink or two." He glances at Holi as he finishes.
The man, still smiling, replies; "Of course! Well, we have five rooms open, each with two fairly large beds. Also, I could get you the suite, six beds and a bath for each of you, should you desire it! Whichever you choose, you get dinner and breakfast included! For drinks, talk to the bartender, his name is Gam. The suite would be expensive, at 200 gold pieces a night, but the individual rooms are only 10 gold each. What would you like?"

(You guys get to pick, you want the suite so you can stick together, or individual rooms. The baths are optional. There are seven people currently in the group, since Aramil's camping, so one room would have an extra person in it. Just a tip, make sure the casters aren't by themselves, whichever option you choose. Just to be safe.)

Looks at her money, then carefully takes out 10 gold and hands it to the owner, "An individual room... for me..." She looks at the rest of the group with that same horrid smile, "Which of you... wishes to stay with me...?"

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

As long as you don't snore or have some obnoxious sleeping habit, I don't mind. I just need to make sure to get enough rest to refresh my mana reserve. Of course, if you prefer another lady, I doubt Malacet would mind, too much. Granth says being one of the few people who probably didn't mind if his roommate was devoted to a demon.

Malacet holds her hand up in a 'Wait a second' gesture. "Actually, I wouldn't mind a bath, to be honest. I'm willing to split for the suite, If anyone else is willing. I know you will, Holi, but theres still four more beds after that."

"Eh, I'll go for the suite. You mind looking after my acid for me?" Tod asks Carella, not wanting the bubbling caustic substance to permeate in the suite and disturb the others.

Nods as she takes the acid and smiles at Granth, "I... do not have any habits... I believe..." she smiles wider at him, "At least... you can help me sleep... by explaining in detail... why you hate demons."

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

It's devils, not demons that I have a problem with, and there isn't that much to tell, I have quite a few racial memories some of which include the Blood War. That, and the fact that devils, like all creatures of order, seem to have a stick up their ass all the time. Granth says, not having an actual boring story to tell.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

"Fair enough;" Trex says, and turns back to the man; "We'll take the suite for us five, and those two will have their own room." Trex walks over to the counter with the man, and counts out the gold for the suite, Carella having already payed for her room. He then goes up the stairs with the man to see where their room is, returning a minute later alone; "The suite's up the stairs, turn right down the hall, and up another flight of stairs. It's got is own floor, with a fountain in the middle, which is where I guess our bath water is coming from." He nods to Carella; "Your room is next to the stairs leading up to the suite, last door on the left. Now, is anyone else hungry? I imagine they've got something better to eat than trail rations."

Shakes her head with a small smile as she heads up to her room, "It's fine... I don't eat much..."

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

I could probably go for some real food right now. What are you serving right now? Granth asks
