Scourge of the Silver Marches

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

Aramil says; "It's not long before dawn, a few hours perhaps, not long enough to rest well unless we'll be staying past midday. What say you Trex? How long will we be resting here?"
Trex responds, with a shrug and a warm grin; "I leave it up to them, though I think perhaps Father Bolm will need his beauty sleep."
"Bah! look who's talkin!" Bolm shouts in response, though all in the group can tell that it's good hearted teasing and not a real argument.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

"I say we at least get enough rest for the magic slingers to regain spells, I could probably use a little beauty sleep meself. Though I doubt if we have enough time to make me pretty."

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

I must agree with that. I know I was interrupted in the middle of my mana cycling, so I haven't recovered much in the way of magic, not to mention all the spells I just cast. We may want to stay for for a good while longer since I bet the others are in similar conditions. Granth says having run low on his multipurpose problem solving spells which mostly involving removing the problem.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

Tod nods as well. "I used a bit myself. Especially with seeing what the vampire's junk did. I would be in favor of resting, if only to recover our magic."

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

"Fair enough. I'll be down here for a while, and I'm sure Aramil will just go back outside, but the rest of you can probably have your own rooms now if you'd like." Trex says.

With that, Bolm grunts and heads upstairs with Aramil while Trex paces around the room. The samurai gives on last glance at the pile of ashes on the floor before heading upstairs as well. Aramil exits the Inn, going back to wherever he was before he came in through the window, and Bolm and the samurai go upstairs to sleep.

((Knew I was forgetting something :/ ))

"I'm fine staying in the group room." Malacet says simply, moving to the door slowly, and heading up with the others after that.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

Taking his share of the treasure, Granth heads back to the separate smaller room he was in earlier to go back to sleep.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

Tod nods. "I'd like the group room as well. be easier to get a good night's rest knowing I've got people watching my back."

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

Holi just follows the others to where he was sleeping before and crashes out on the floor, whiule the others go to sleep as well.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

The night, along with several hours of day, pass uneventfully, and the group members wake up well rested at around noon. Trex apparently wasn't kidding about this road not being particularly well traveled. As soon as he awakens, Bolm prays to Lathander, and moves over to the samurai, and casts a spell to remove the curse on the armor. He quickly tears the cursed thing off, throwing it into a corner in pieces. It didn't seem to have any padding, and underneath he wears nothing but a cloth around his groin, and his body is covered in scars and bruises. Trex and Aramil come up the stairs as he finishes, and Trex says; "Very good, I'm glad to see you free of the accursed item. I'll make sure it's destroyed along with the amulet as soon as possible. Well then, what will you do now?"

The samurai responds; "I don't know. Perhaps I'll return to my homeland. Or perhaps I'll travel with you a while longer, if I'm asked for..."

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

Malacet wakes slowly, seeming to still be a bit stiff from the night before as she watches Bolm deal with the cursed armour. She speaks up after the Samurai responds. "We would never ask you to stay if you felt you needed to be elsewhere, Taekeda, but you would be a fine addition to our group if you decided to stay. We could use your strength in the times ahead." She says rather plainly, not trying to influence him in either direction.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

Carella wakes up and looks around, yawning as she packs her things and goes to the group room, "I'm ready to leave.. .when you are..."

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

Holi grumbles as he wakes, "Gah I be soberin' up." After taking a hit from his flask the grumbles die down. After watching the samurai remove the cursed armor he listens to what he says. "Ye're always welcome to travel with us if it be up ta me."

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

(Rolling the d20.... and you got an 18 on the diplomacy roll. Guess we've got a new NPC.)

The samurai considers for a moment, and then nods; "I believe I'll travel with you for a while, and learn more of this land. And perhaps I may be of aid in your quest, whatever it may be." He says.

Trex says; "Pleasure to have you along. Now, is everyone ready to go? We've still got a ways to travel."

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

"I'm all set whenever you guys are." Tod nods, his acid from a while ago finished, a new brew in his cauldron: Holy Water. He figured with all the undead they've been against, it would be a good idea.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

"Good to have you with us." Malacet responds kindly. "Yes, let's get moving, shall we?"

((Also, changing Dark One's Own Luck back to Fortitude, will change once I have reliable internet other than my cell))

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

Yeah, this place is getting boring: there's nothing around here for me to practice my spells on... Well, I could use the trees, but causing forest fires tends to be a bad idea when you're stuck in the middle of the forest. Granth replies to Malacet.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

Carella yawns and grins, "Let's get... going..." She hands the acid concotion she was holding for Tod, "For... you."

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

Tod smiles and bows to Carella "Thanks for watching it for me. Hope it didn't give you any trouble." He says, adding the vial of acid to his pack and continuing his current work.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

"Aye, I be ready for some more travelling," Holi says shouldering his pack.
