In other news, how much damage can that armour take? I'm not going to get it if it's probably going to get shredded before I can get loose from/kill whatever has her every time, that's just way too expensive.

It's pretty durable against the baddies' attempts to strip you, but as with some enemies, there's not much chance you're going to escape from them one way or another. But, that armor will give your teammates plenty of time to save you before that enemy can begin both fucking and draining your essence.

We're still here for you.

As for the armour, that's good enough for me, just wanted to make sure that all that extra cost wasn't just going to give me two rounds instead of one before the monsters shredded it like origami and I had to buy a new one

Shiva's saying that it's not worth the risk to separate the group just to save a couple people, as the group that's inside planting the bomb would be more vulnerable if it split to try and rescue the pregnant women at the same time.
