I love how jo doesn't seem like a physically imposing character at all, but is almost insane about her axe. It just doesn't fit, and it would bother me more, if the axe wasn't so fucking awesome.

Well I'm off[1] for the night, but before I go I had a thought: I don't think we've dealt with pregnancies. I mean the normal kind, not the monster-induced kind.

Is it even possible (in the world or in the scope of this RP) for a woman to get pregnant by having unprotected sex with a human male? Would it still take the normal term to develop, and what would happen if she ran into (and was unable to defeat or escape) a monster in the mean time?

I think the answers thus far are A) outside the scope of the RP, B) yes, of course, and C) no idea, and irrelevant as ordinary pregnancies are outside the scope of the RP.

My hope for C would be that the implanted monsters coexist with the fetus for the time they're sharing the mother, but the probability is that the essence-drain of the implanted monsters kills the fetus and results in a miscarriage. I assume the act of sex would not itself have any more impact on a fetus than conventional sex would - which I believe is little to none.

Can you tell I've never been involved with a pregnancy?

They're presumably what grabbed Mina. While she's not near as good at dodging as Jenn is, she's not exactly lead-footed. They're all moving, they're more-or-less surrounding us, and Mina just flopped out and didn't respond when Melissa yelled at her. The muffled bits suggest Mina had something to do with getting out... but Melissa can't be sure.

My tactical opinion: Jen runs outside, and gets on the radio. Melissa continues to lay down cover fire while she yells at Mina to RUN! If the plants stop so much as twitching... maybe, MAYBE Melissa dashes over to Mina and tries to carry/drag her out. But right now Melissa only sees "12 pods = 12 opponents which tackled Mina", and being outnumbered by THAT much is too much to expect.

There might be more (or less) to it, but Melissa's Divine Sight is apparently still too blinded to tell her anything useful, so she has to go by what she sees. And that's "call for heavy weapons"-level stuff.

But we'll have to wait for thetwo to post Jenn's reaction (I'd guess "freaks out like Melissa", but I'm not thetwo) before getting any further.

Iris seems to be doing alright with her current fight. Luna is doing bad as is Emily. If Emily can't turn her fight around I'm hoping Iris can make the woman orgasm before the other of the bat women finish off Luna and Emily. We might stand a good chance if that happens.

12 pods, but we haven't actually seen what did the attacking. Probably vines/tentacles? Otherwise you'd think it'd be pretty easy to dodge. Also, RJ went ahead and gave us power, which I assume helps.

Yeah, the glass over the green house was covered in stuff that blocked out a lot of light, so lighting gets rid of any, 'hard to see in the dark' penalties.

I'm trying to come up with a good reason not to have Jenn kill possibly-Mina at the first sign of an aggressive act, considering her previous experience with a person who disappeared for a moment and came back insisting she give in to a paradise of pleasure... >.>

Well, if she doesn't have Mina's backpack on, there's a good sign that she's a clone and not possessed. But if she DOES have the backpack on, then Melissa's gonna want to go for the knockout and try and figure out the pods. Which... would probably end up being "experience them first-hand, and hope for the best", e.g. get Melissa's wrists tied together behind her back, then jump in a pod. And hope that whatever the plants do to you mentally, lets Melissa find Mina and somehow drag her out.

Well, yeah. But what happens if we take out the central commanding intelligence - the pod goddess?

If the clones survive, they don't have anything specifically controlling them anymore, right? Which means they're more-or-less ordinary people, right? Isn't that something worth striving for?

Yeah, A) they probably don't survive the death of their controller, and B) even if they do, probably the true Goddess will take over the reins. But at the moment, what else are we gonna do? Take tissue samples back to the Inn for Doc Violet and Doc Ritter to make a bioweapon against?

Also half raises hand. Rape, yes. Kill... I don't think she'd want to raise the ire of the Goddess that much. I think She'd allow rapeage as being Aya's lookout. Killing... well, She's put a lot of effort into raising and keeping Aya, and I suspect the succubus knows that.

Though now that I think about it, while Aya is pretty high on essence, the succubi just might find themselves losing essence to her instead of the other way around. If they're not careful and all.

I have a feeling that now Aya is going to have a bunch of woman attempt to gang rape her. Whilst Aya is fairly powerful and could do some good damage with her fire and tentacle attacks there might be more then just one or two of the woman at the clock tower. I'd be a bit worried if Aya didn't have her special connection with he goddess.

Thinking about it, if the woman attempt to charm Aya, and succeed, then Aya is going to try and rape them all.

Now, now. Minx and her sisters are loyal creatures of the Goddess, yes? I'm sure She wouldn't want Her servants to be blasting each other. Screwing, though, is fair game, so long as they don't render their victims unable to obey Her commands.
