Honestly Raptor, I wish you had just stuck with the same thing you had been doing the entire game. I wish you had given us the same type of fight that we had been getting the entire game instead of just throwing something like this at us. Because really, every boss fight until now has been as simple as just shooting at the enemy. Same for every fight.

The way things ending because of misunderstandings really bugs me. I wish we could go back and redo this fight now that we understand how we are actually suppose to fight the enemy. I didn't think you were suppose to completely ignore them while walking away. That didn't make sense to me.

Him: "All I know is I'm sleeping on the concrete tonight."

My understanding was "well, you're making me sleep on the floor, therefor you wouldn't save my life given the chance." Which naturally made Jenn kinda pissed.

I don't see why Luna's team shouldn't be allowed to get a redo at this boss battle. I mean really, things were confusing. The entire game everyone has been going through fights that were simply attack and shoot. I don't really get how you guys were suppose to see this coming or completly understand things.

I want to know something. Is it too late to turn the fight around using the method we were suppose to be using? If I had Iris get up and explain the ignoring thing to everyone then had them all turn their backs and ignore the woman could they be stopped whilst saving Joseph?

Now that we actually get how to win the fight can we act on it? Or is it too late?

I disagree with the idea of a redo. Maybe just a rescue, or send something they can actually fight that the succubi can't mind-rape to scare off the succubi.

I think instead of any of that we should just get to continue the fight but get another chance in it. Like Joseph jerks away from them and we have our characters walk away whilst ignoring the woman.

Actually, I think the succubi are overpowered as listed. "Pass a simple willpower test, ignore them utterly and continue on your way", sounds well and good, but doesn't mesh well with the way the succubi performed. They were not at all timid, nor did they seem easily frightened. For that matter, how are you supposed to frighten something you don't even acknowledge exists?

Consider:

A blonde vision alights in front of Melissa. "Hey, look at me!"
She shakes her head, and turns to go a different way.
"I said, look at ME!" The succubus darts over to stay in front of Melissa.
Melissa turns once again, preparing to head into a doorway.
"You're NOT IGNORING ME!" The succubus blocks the doorway.
Melissa shrugs, and turns to go around the building.
"PAY ATTENTION TO ME!" The succubus jumps on Melissa, mashing her bosom in her face.​

Now. Melissa here just passed all her willpower tests. She did exactly what was suggested - ignore the succubus. Did she go away? No. Does she have any incentive to go away? No. She might get annoyed and take off, but nothing Melissa can do can force the succubus to stop pestering her. Because anything Melissa can do that affects the succubus specifically, requires Melissa to focus on the succubus. She can't even break free of a grapple - that would require her to acknowledge that the succubus is holding on to her.

If Melissa's group had fought succubi, given the information available, I would've gone straight for the sex combat. Ignoring them barely even permits one to flee.

I already had a conversation with Keylo about this. You can touch, you can shove, you can in any case, touch a Succubus, but you can't attempt to attack them, as that's all the magic attacks. Hell, you could even stand in place, and talk with them, and only be slightly attracted to them, just as Melissa, Mina, and Jenn did. And from the way you and thetwo handled it, that would have been enough. If their magic doesn't work, there's nothing they can do. And you only have to pass the willpower test once.

This entire thing was just so confusing. As I said before, I wish my characters team had just gotten a normal boss fight. After so many normal fights I hadn't expected a boss fight where I would have to have my character shut her eyes and ignore the enemy and keep herself from attacking until they went away whilst trying to keep Luna and Emily doing the same thing. This entire thing, seriously, caught me off guard.

I rather suspect that's what RJ was going for, here. It was supposed to be difficult, and in fact you failed. Our team had an extreme time limit and a more minor trick as to how to win, and apparently failed less fully. And then we fought 8 freaking futas.

A victory may have been supposed to be a slim possibility, here.

It almost seemed like a trap fight. There's no way to encounter them and the second you start fighting, you have to keep fighting. The more you fight, the more they corrupt you, but the way it was phrased, it sounded like ignoring them raping you sounds like acceptance, which almost translates into becoming a succubus. They were going to take Joseph physically one way or another, so confrontation was inevitable.

So... you're saying that if Melissa, after chatting with them a little while, had gone "BOO!" and thrown her arms out, she'd have scared them into flying away?

I'm sorry, but they didn't seem anywhere near that flighty. Instead, they seemed like the more traditional domineering demonesses. I'd believe that more if they'd been more "seducing" instead:

"Heyyy... ya wanna play?" said the winged beauty.
"No thanks."
"Are ya sure...? I'm always ready..." she said, swivelling a hip coyly.
"No thanks."
"Aw, c'mon..." A bow this time, letting her breasts dangle.
"SHOO!"
She leapt back in startlement. "Yeep!"​

And "you only have to pass the willpower test once"... well, I'll believe that, but only until you attempt to do something that, as you say, the magic attacks. So Melissa passed her willpower test in merely talking to them instead of lusting after them, but then I think she'd trigger a new willpower test (at the least) if she'd had her rifle and tried to shoot one after they'd talked for a while.

And as to "if their magic doesn't work there's nothing they can do"... there's nothing SPECIAL they can do. They're still within human norms mentally and physically... they don't carry anything, but there's no reason they couldn't pick up and fire a gun, or stab with a knife. Or tackle an inobservant character:

"No, really, I'm not interested." Iris continues smoothing the bandage she'd placed on Joseph's arm.
The pink-haired succubus hops up, then swoops forward with a flap of her wings, catching the girl off-guard and tackling her to the ground. "Oooh, you haven't felt what I can do, yet..." she coos, as she fingers her through her clothes.​

No magic here, Iris passed her willpower test and is passably disregarding the succubus, and yet her situation has worsened. Pink-hair and the other succubi, as depicted in the thread, are more aggressive than this. To say that they wouldn't think of tackling someone not mesmerized by them is ridiculous.
