Eena equiped the sword and the extra set of clothes were sent to her room.

She asked around, but everyone told Eena that Shiva was out hunting.

The only missions that are now available is the hunting for monsters outside of the building.

Eena slapped her cheeks psyching herself up and bravely left the safe haven of Apple Inn to hunts these dark creatures.

'I really hope I can fight these creatures may mind be strong as the steel within the blade I hold'

She silently prayed to herself grasping the hilt of her short sword.

As Josie was standing around, another woman approached her and offered her an overcoat. It was a nice gesture and certainly was much better than the makeshift sheet she's been wearing.

"I was attacked in the street. Thank you, but I've been there, I'm just being stubborn and didn't decide to get anything. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but I don't understand the point system and was kind of hoping to wait until their store was full before I went spending. I'd feel kinda bad about taking clothes from you if you're going out there while I sit here full of those silly "points" only half naked because I choose to be. If you wouldn't mind me borrowing it, I'd promise to give it back once I get some real clothes."

"Borrowing is even better," Claire nodded. "I'm with you on this bullshit favor, though. Whatever happened to, you know, getting protection from people who are trained in it?" Shrugging, tucking her long hair back, she continued, "Take your time, alright? Drop it off at room forty-seven if you get something new in the meantime, or if I'm not home, just hang it on the door handle?"

She had to wonder, that was the second woman that she'd heard of who'd come in here with no clothes -- Christie having mentioned it off hand a little earlier. Claire glanced down at her own skirt, chewing her lip in troubled thought. A moment later, she looked up again, nodding to Josie. "I'd better get going. That black haired girl won't let me hear the end of it if she thinks I'm trying to duck out of the 'mission', for all that I lambasted her. Take care, okay?"

Returning to Christie, she slipped the extra clips she'd gotten into her blouse pockets. "Let's do this before the sun goes down; I can't see all that well once dusk sets in."

Josie took the overcoat and held it for a while.

"Again, thanks. You'll get this back, you have my word, and I always keep my word."

Josie paused as the woman started to walk back to her black-haired friend.

"You're brave for going back out there. Good luck!"

Josie turned back, put on the overcoat and decided to wait in the area as she had nothing better to do in the meantime.

As night fell, as many weary women returned home, eventually nearly everyone in the hotel was soon getting a good night's sleep...

(Eena's hunt has been canceled, she returned safely)

(Every mission was a success, every participator was awarded 500 Favor points)

Morning came faster than most girls wanted, as many were weary, and many more were hungry.

During the morning, everyone heard an announcement over the speakers.

Director: "Azure Watson, report to my office."

Azure woke with a start at hearing her name called, to find herself not wrapped in slime, nor in the dark of a hospital, but in her bed.

Christie smiled as Claire returned, glad to see she hadn't scared the woman off with her silliness.

"You got it, red! Let's bag us a big one!

Christie turned to the guard and called out, "Oh miss guard, we're ready to go zombie hunting!

Azure groaned as she rolled up to her feet, realizing right away that she was back at the Inn and instantly on guard even more than if she was back with the slime.

She wildly snatched for her backpack and weapons, more scared of what the director's goons might be up to than what the beasts outside were up to.

She was not in a good mood at all, not after having made so many breakthroughs so quickly with the creatures only to be dragged away.

And worse, her name being called for... her whole name... she hadn't given anyone here her whole name.

"Someone's done some snooping on me... no choice though, I'm going to need to see what she wants... This isn't likely to go well though."

Reluctantly, Azure tried to gather her things and head to the director's office. Where she wouldn't say a thing, just wait to be spoken to.

Lin awoke.
her eyes opened slowly, and when it did... it simply closed again, she repeated this a few times until, finally, she got up and yawned.
She had fallen asleep in her clothes, she looked around to see her 9mm on her bedstand and reached out to it, picking it up, checking it's safeties to make sure it was on. She lifted her leg off of the bed and on to the ground, and as she stood, she yelped in pain as she stepped on a clip of ammo. She groaned and continued walking to her destination, the bathroom. She washed her face and brushed her teeth then started to strip off all her clothes and jumped into the shower. The warm water felt good on her skin as she soaped herself and washed her hair cleaning off any remains of what happened yesterday. She got out of the shower and dried herself. Thats when she found out what she was missing... a new, clean set of clothes. She picked up her dirty clothes and quickly dressed into them and ran down the staires. She went up to the shops and asked...

"You guys got some good new clothes?"

"Are you kidding me? You're the least of my worries, Christie," the redhead replied, "I prefer silliness to downright stupidity, anyways... something I'm not sure we're avoiding right now. Maybe we can practice shooting from a distance," she suggested, feeling nervous about going out of this apparent safehaven.

Emily woke up with a loud yawn. She forgot where she was momentarily.

"This isn't my apartment... but it sure is an improvement..."

When she saw her sword she remembered where she was and how she got there. She went out of her room to see if their was anything to do. She saw that the people from last night returned. Wondering if there was gonna be any new missions she check the mission board.

A small dream of kindling fires brushing against one another growing into one giant ball of fire until it felt like it could no longer grow and bursted out like a star overdue it's time. Eena then awoke with a major headache in tow to her troubles

"Ugh...All the veins in my mind feel like their bleeding from the inside" She muttered gathering her extra pair of clothes since her last ones were ruined in the last encounter other hunters must have picked her up she thought before dressing.

She then walked downstairs to feed herself with all of the rest of her supplies near thankfully she had not lost those. She minded all around her through the gossip and possible new friendships forming then a realization.

'I should probable try and find to help me with the next hunt or mission as going it alone wouldn't turn out so good.'

Azure entered the Director's room, she was there, along with Shiva and the unnamed girl with the broadsword.

"Miss Watson, I don't know what happened yesterday, and quite frankly, I couldn't care less. However, would you mind explaining this?"

She motioned the girl with the broadsword, and she in turn walked over to what looked like a box with a tarp over it, then lifted the tarp...

There was no mistaking it, it was the slime from before, except now, instead of her normal appearance, she mimicked Azure's shape...

Even her hair, breast size, as well as what her pussy looked like were all exactly like Azure.

The slime was inside an electrified cage, staring at Azure eagerly...

Azure strummed her fingers across her bare body, glaring at the director without taking much of a glance at the slime.

"Mind telling me how I got back here first?"

She refused to say anything else about it until she got the whole story of what happened after she went to sleep with the slime. As far as she knew no other squad was sent out to the hospital, yet somehow someone not only went in for her and Kali, but captured the slime as well.

"I sent Shiva to recover you, and she encountered this thing during her rescue attempt. Now answer my question, why would it choose to resemble you, and follow you back here?"

Azure shook her head and walked up to the cage, reaching towards it slowly, seeing if she could reach through it to pet the slime.

"The answer is simple. But I guess your servants are hiding things from you. Aren't they? You should've learned everything from the videos that I took while dealing with the creature."

She glanced back at the director and shook her head slowly, as if she was in full control as she reached into her bag and drew out the video of the night's events on her handheld.

"During our exploration, we came across a slime that decided to mimic human form. It was an attempt of communication. And I was the one to take the creature up on its offer. After we... had a bit of... Let's say physical communication, it must've decided to take my form to show its friendship. It doesn't very well know how else to communicate, after all... Or at least, it didn't when I was last dealing with it."

She took a slow, calm breath, offering the video to the director.

"The creature used an aphrodesiac on me at first, out of fear, a scared reaction. And it did cause a bit of a tussle at first. But after it realized I was not a threat, it tried to be nicer. I will tell you more, if you'd like, however I have several questions and a few demands that will need to happen before that. First, did you harm my friend here... Second... was I pregnant again when I was recovered? And third... Has she tried to harm anyone since coming here? ... The demands I will hold until after my questions are answered."

The Director looks past the camera, as if not seeing it offered to her.

"If Shiva tried to hurt it, I assure you, it'd be dead. No, you weren't pregnant, and the only thing it's done is try to access this building, I'm guessing to get to you."

The Director heaved a sigh of frustration

"Miss Watson, your theory that this thing is friendly is ridiculous, things like this feed off of our mental being to survive. It's likely that it was nursing off of your mentality while you were, 'playing' with it, while not feeding to much as to avoid a hostile reaction."

The Director sat back in her chair.

"But seeing as how you're an enthusiastic reporter, and also seem to be infatuated to this creature, I'm interested to know... What would you have become of this situation?"

"Interesting. So you do know more than you tell the others. And yet, you do not quite understand everything..."

She motioned to the cage, smiling broadly.

"What you don't know is that while the creatures feed off of our minds, they are not all inherently hostile. Oh, I have no doubt most of them are for the sake of feeding quickly and running off. This one, however, could have easily fed off of both me and the rest of my team, repeatedly. Not to mention, there is no reason for it to have followed me if it was just after food. More people would have come along eventually."

She walked away from the cage slowly and towards the director, making passive gestures as she spoke. Her mind churning with questions, how much more did the director know, was she actually simply like this to deal with the foolish people here, or did she have a hidden agenda. None of these questions would come out now though, it would take more effort to get to the bottom of that.

"My demands are simple. You will release this slime to me. I will tend to it, keep it in its place. Take willing girls to help feed it... You see, it took me after I gave birth from a previous attack. I should have been pregnant again. And the birth should have hit me as hard as it hit Kali. But this creature went out of its way to protect me from the mental damage. I have no doubt it still fed upon me slowly, but it can control how much it feeds. And it protected me. In the very least, I am required to return the favor and have my friend released back into the wild... but the things we could learn from a friendly creature are immeasurable. Unless... you'd rather not learn why all of this is happening so suddenly..."

It was an overwhelming demand, a stretch to say the least, but she saw no reason not to go big, not after having her investigation so rudely interrupted. The worst case, her request would be denied.

Then she started to tap her finger on the armrest of her chair in thought.

"I'll tell you what, we'll keep it in the basement, but you will feed it, as I'm sure you wouldn't mind doing. All while we research it's new parasitic behavior. Agreed?"
