After a few minutes rest, people-watching the women in the Inn, Claire decided to see if she cold hunt down Iris and Emily -- she had seen the two before, and she was beginning to think they might be key players amongst the mission-goers. She wanted to know more from them about what was going on.

If she couldn't find them, she'd eventually wander back to her own room.

(Searching out Emily (theweirdone) or Iris (BurningGold) to chat about missions with! )

After a few minutes of looking about -- both in the lobby and up in the hallways between bedrooms, Claire was unable to catch sight of either the two women she sought, so she decided to take a break and return to her room.

Her body still felt a little wobbly from her earlier endeavors!

Settling on her bed, legs stiffly crossed beneath her, back resting against the headboard of her bed, Claire settled in to relax with a bit of proto-meditation. She was no expert in the field, but she knew when closing her eyes and letting go worked well.

The past few day's events were obstinate, however -- they kept flickering to the surface of her mind. Claire wondered about that damned white haired woman, and the disappearance of the (to her, at any rate) untrustworthy Shiva, as well as the myriad monsters that had sprung up overnight. She didn't know much of anything about how to even begin to cope, let alone 'solve the problem' of the sudden change of her lifestyle... but she'd found in the past that just sitting and letting her mind drift sometimes helped.

(Spend 5 essence points to use Visions; either for information about the white-haired Goddess, or Shiva, or the monsters themselves. XD I'm leaving this fairly open... Claire can always go and inform another character about what she sees if she sees something out of her league to deal with!)

Selena barges into her room with a loud yawn and pulls Kitty into bed, using her as a human-sized pillow, one of her hands stroking the girl's belly,

"I got so much done today Kitty." She yawns again obviously very tired, "You've been a good pet Kitty..." her eyes start to droop as she mumbles, "Thanks for saving me when we first met... I'm really... thankful you did."

Selena appears to doze off as after her thanking Kitty, her hand that wasn't rubbing the girl's belly slowly moves over the girl's crotch; resting gently on it as Selena falls asleep.

Kitty nearly bit her tongue when Selena touched her there, as Selena fell asleep, Kitty moved her hand away from her crotch.

As Selena lay on her, Kitty found another sleepless night, filled with entertaining thoughts of how to strangle Selena...

Claire had sunk into a vision without realizing she could do it.

Waking with a start, she cursed.

"What the hell was that?" She had brought her hands up to her temples, worrying about the grasping darkness that she'd felt threatening to pull her under.

Hands shaking, she took a few more breaths to calm herself, then the woman pushed herself off of the bed and to her doorway. "That can't have been good..." She hurried determinedly to Jesse's shop, hoping the brunette was still there -- even if Claire had suggested that she wanted to avoid popping her head in again.

A worried look appeared on Jesse's face as Claire hurried to her, Jesse walked from her stand to grab Claire by the shoulders, trying to comfort her.

"Sweetie, what's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost!" she asked with concern in her voice.

Iris's mind rocked back into consciousness. She was only half awake but memorys of what happened before she had gone to sleep flooded her mind. Iris had gone to sleep with Emily. Before doing that would of embarrised her but now Iris had come to terms with Emily being her good friend and that she enjoyed being around her.

Iris's eyes began to open. SHe felt very warm under the blanket on being right next to Emily. Iris let out a soft yawn as she sat up. Iris wondered if she should leave without letting Emily know or just stay in bed.

Iris decided not to walk out on Emily without telling her. She didn't want to make her worry. Iris gently placed her hand on her should and softly said-

" Hey Emily...Can you wake up...? "

Emily opened her eyes. She recognized Iris' voice. She forgot what had happened last night because of how tired she was. She sat upright and said to Iris in a sleepy tone

"Hey Iris... what's up?"

Iris lightly smiled as she saw Emily start to wake up and sit up. Iris kept her hand where it was, on Emilys shoulder, as she began to speak. Iris said in her soft tone-

" Nothing. How'd you sleep? "

Emily no longer felt embarrassment at her touch. As she began to wonder why she suddenly remembered last night. She looked down again. She just sighed and said to Iris

"I slept fine."
She looked back up at Iris. She was controlling herself for now. Although she still felt fragile.

Looking over Emily Iris figured she must of still been a bit upset. Iris was sure she'd feel better after awhile. Iris then got up from the bed, stretching a little. Iris looked over at Emily. Iris wondered if she'd want to do another mission or a looting run with her. Iris figured she might as well ask. Iris then said-

" Hey Emily. I'm going to go on a mission. Would you like to come with me? "

Emily stood up off the bed. She didn't want to do what she did to her friend last night. She also didn't want to make her go out against the monsters alone again. What could happen to Iris if Emily wasn't there to help? She manage to smile at Iris and say

"Yeah I don't want you to go out there alone again."
She was feeling far better then she did last night, but she did wonder what could set her off again. Emily thought that if she doesn't betray her friend anymore then it'd be a good step to controlling herself.

Iris was glad Emily cared so much about her well being. With Emily off the bed Iris went over to her and gave her a light hug. She only did it for a moment, then let go. Iris said to Emily-

" You're a good friend Emily. Come on... Lets go find a mission to go on. "

Iris then started to walk out to the door...

Emily thought back to last night. How even though she back stabbed Iris the way she did she still wanted to be her friend. She smiled at Iris and said

"If I'm a good friend your a damn good friend Iris."
She walked out the door with Iris after she said this.

As Iris was walking down the hallway with Emily she thought of something, or rather someone. The director. Iris thought now was a good time to talk to her about the white dressed woman. Iris doubted she could give the woman any comfort but if she could, she would. Iris stopped walking and looked at Emily. Iris's look was firm and serious. In a tone of voice that matched her look Iris said-

" Emily... I think we should go and see the director. That white dressed woman... Even with Shivas help we couldn't kill her. The director may be the only person who can help us. "

Iris waited for a response.

Emily thought back to that white haired girl. Thinking of that memory helped replace her depression with a new emotion, anger. Iris wasn't realizing it but she helping Emily become her old self again. She was pretty much over the trauma of what she did to Iris now.

"Yeah... I'll go with you. It's gonna be hard for me to ask her for help, but hell if she can help us kill that bitch I'm game."

Iris thought ab out something suddenly. It might be a good idea to get some training in before going on this epic quest to kill this evil bitch. Iris thought she should ask Emily what she thought of training for a few days. Iris continued to speak in her current tone and said-

" Glad you're onboard. Hey Emily... It might be a good idea to get some training in before we go off on this mission. A few day of sparing would do us some real good. "

Iris waited for a response. After EMily answered she would go to the directors room.

When Iris said they need to spar she thought about her fighting skills. Even though she managed to do a lot of damage to the gargoyles she really hadn't had any training. That was the first time she ever shot a gun in her life, but she kicked ass. Still though it would be nice to get even better.

"Yeah... I'll spar with you Iris... I'll try not to hurt you either."
She said the last part of her sentence teasingly. She didn't want to hurt Iris' feelings. She hoped her joke would help make her laugh or act happy.
