Selena nods with a big smile on her face,

"Yep! She's sleeping in my room! By the way, I wasn't kidding about the .22 rifle, I can't offer you money for it, but I can offer that if you come across any broken guns, I'll fix them up for you!" She looked at the list, "Quite a few people interested in this mission it seems..."

Jesse nods, and Selena was suprised at how she knew she had a 9mm when she asked, "You seem to be decent with a rifle, but I was wondering if I could have that 9mm, we're in short supply of that kind of weapon. I'll more than happily trade you the 9mm for the rifle."

Shrugs as she unholsters the gun and slid it to Jesse,

"Take it, it's just an example of my fine handiwork!" She looks at the .22 rifle with an almost giddy squeal, "Even though it's not the best model, I bet I shoot the dick off a hummingbird with one of that!"

As Jesse put the pistol in her stock, she regarded Selena with an odd stare after the humming bird comment.

Selena looks over the rifle with an apprasing eye and smiles as she loads a bullet into it and points it around the room, then puts it under her arm and writes a note on the mission sheet for the sniper mission,

"'Meet... me... in... the... front...' There, as soon as two more people show up, I can do this stupid mission, get supplies, and go back to playing with Kitty."

With that, she heads to the front to wait for others (new thread?)

Vina has decided that she wont sit around forever in the tavern and wants to do something on a looting run, being on her own she doesnt want to hit any big buildings like hospitals but she feels that a pharmacy maybe a smarter choice, with that she signs up for a looting mission.

After a bit of food and a rest from the roof, Claire found herself once again in the makeshift shop that Jesse ruled with her own special brand of enthusiasm.

"Morning, Jesse," she greeted the woman again. At least Claire seemed to be in better spirits! "I was up practicing on the roof with that .32, but I'm down to one extra clip. Would picking up one or two more be too much to ask?"

Looking around the room, she cast her eyes after the blue-haired young woman at the mission board, and the other redhead signing up thereafter. "Kids and their hair colours," she murmured to herself, amused.

As Jesse broke her attention away from polishing one of her guns, she greeted Claire with a giddy grin,

"Good morning, sweetie!" Then she reached under her desk, two small clips in hand, "Now, we're running out of these, I'd love ya if you brought some more ammo here!" she said, handing two clips to Claire.

Claire flushed in embarrassment. She really did need to get out of the building, didn't she?

"I know, I understand," she replied, fiddling with the clips a little before putting them away. She'd noticed that the blue haired girl, the one who smelled of smoke, had left a message under the sniper mission. "Hey, Jesse... can I have your honest opinion? D'you think that sniper mission's going to go down well? The girls up top are really feeling the heat, I think. I'm just praying to God they get what they need, you know?"

Meredith began wondering why therehad been no response to her mission response and looked up the names on the mission board. After seeing a satisfactory amount of people (to her at least) she writes directly on to the board that she'd like to meet in the bar. She wasn't sure if she should be drinking that much so she avoids ordering from the bartender. ( Too lazy to make 2 seperate posts in the threads)

"Yeah, those poor girls hardly get any sleep, but they're the only ones stopping those monsters from getting in..."

The girl finally gathered her guts.
She wanted that gun, and she's gonna ask for it, the shop lady does seem nice.

"Um," She started, a bit scared. "Would mind giving me that gun over there?" She pointed at the .38.

Im one of the fastest women here, i think i could get there pretty quickly and find out what happened to her.

besides theres all manner of stuff that a pawnshop would have i bet they have a fair few sidearms and plenty of ammo to go with them, and maybe the money i need to afford some of the stuff their selling in the shop.

Seeing that Jesse was getting a steady flow of customers, Claire decided that she might as well get herself out of the way.

"Thanks again, Jesse -- I'll keep the supplies in mind if... when I go on the next mission." There really was no shirking it. She was going to have to get out and do her best to avoid getting caught by those things.

Claire wandered back to the lobby, brain churning and finally coming up with an idea or two about how to spend the rest of today. She didn't think she'd ever be mentally prepared to hit the streets, but perhaps she could figure out how to prepare herself -- and others, physically.

Lin felt the like she should help the Red haired woman on her mission to save someone so She signed up on the same mission and approached her.
"If you want, I'd love to accomany you on your mission." Lin said, holding out her hand.
