Well...

Maybe we should put all this time and effort currently used just to poorly control the influx of immigrants, into fixing the middle-east enough so they can stay there.

The main issue I see with all this is that the immigrants aren't truly refugees, more profiteers, and possibly criminals in their own country. There are undoubtedly a few who are truly in need of help and deserving, but the ones who are rioting, spurning gifted items and raping aren't.

Also, another problem is it seems Islam is the most radical major religion at the moment. It hasn't been moderated like Christianity, subjected akin to Judaism, or have discipline like Buddhism or Sikhism. After all, we had witch hunts, Crusades which rivalled the Jihads, and sent emissaries which destroyed small religions. Not sure there is much we can do about it though.

But honestly, raping children? What the fuck... Which also still happens in Western culture unfortunately. And on this forum.


Side note: This would actually be a great time for any nation or group to send spies into Europe, or transport black market goods through. I wonder...

It's a massive disaster happening, and it really needs to be stopped. Problem being that just stabilising Syria won't stop it. A lot of the fortune seekers are from africa, a lot from Pakistan and Afghanistan
It's a mess and it will keep on happening just because they are told that europe will give them free stuff.
But by now Europe is already on the path to civil war and genocides, which can only be averted by either all these immigrants being removed from Europe again really quickly, or by an heavily fascist/authoritarian regime taking over and suppressing any dissent with military force.
(The reason for this is the simple fact that all these fortune seekers are military age males. Estimates of 1.4(Up to 2.5 in some sections of Sweden and Germany) males for every female in the country means the entirety of Europe is heading for China post one-child policy style instability. Said instability comes from all those men just plain not having anyone that's even a potential date or marriage prospect. This leads to large groups of frustrated and militant males. China barely escaped massive civil war by being incredibly authoritarian about this issue and revoking their one-child policy. Europe won't have that)

It's likely to be the big issue of the time, since it has potential for massive disasters including but not limited to genocides, civil wars, balkan-style fracturing of countries, pogroms and Jew-hunts(Combine the anti-Jewish islamic immigrants with the fact that the most public figure (Soros) actively supporting the immigrants going to Europe being Jewish...), all the way up to military conflicts if some foreign country decides to try to put a stop to it

Well, for starters, this video was aired on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert." You can argue that it's not funny; personally, I didn't laugh. At the same time, I can see how a comedian might think it would be funny. It's a feminist politician telling men to shut up about pants suits, abortion, Gamer Gate, Harry Potter, and Star Wars (twice), among other topics.

It's not my kind of humor, though I don't watch the Late Show so I didn't know what context to take it in until I did a little research. Still, the impression I get is that it's meant to be taken as a joke.

I had considered it might have been a joke, but incredibly distasteful seeing as it more or less mirrors the opinions of people who get taken extremely seriously, and who get consistent funding from donations purely from talking that way and using that kind of rhetoric. Normally satirical rhetoric involves exaggeration, not a plain imitation of the people they're mocking.

No. Until recently (like, 5 years ago recently), male German youths had to choose between doing either mandatory military service OR mandatory social service for 9 months. Well, considering the state of German schools, aside from the whole moral outrage at there possibly being a correlation between refugees and the horrible crimes and terrible situation at the schools, I can guess which side would be better for them to take in the long run, even though both sides are clearly willing to resort to unsavory tactics.
