Selena shakes her head as she follows behind the two

"Nah, I can't shoot that well up close, plus I can watch you two much better from back here!" She knew the one called Emily didn't trust her, but the other seemed more easy-going, "I mean, if I stand up there, I might accidentally cause conflict between the two of you, and that would be horrible in the bedroom!"

Emily sighed.

"Fucking bitch..."
she tryed to say it loud enough for Iris to not understand her but for her to know she was murmuring something angrily at Selena. She'd prefer they not get in a fight espicially with Iris around. If she saw her fighting with someone else she didn't know how she would feel.

"Just be very careful Iris... I'll try to make the first move if she does anything you follow my lead. I'll try to draw all her attention to me as well. I'd prefer you not get shot."
She said this knowing full well what it meant. Perhaps this girl would underestimate Iris' fighting ability. She thought this was the best plan if they had to fight her. They didn't know her fighting potential and Emily knew Iris was a better fighter then her, although it would be very hard for her to admit it out loud.

Iris felt her face start to go a little red from blushing. What that girl said out loud was... Very awkward. Iris felt close to Emily. In all honesty, she was closer to her then anyone else. After Iris's father died she was left alone without anyone. Emily is the first person for her to befriend ever. Iris couldn't imagine a relationship with the girl, that didn't mean she hated the idea. Hearing what Emily was now saying Iris decided to try and calm her down. Emily got frustrated easily and got her in trouble a lot. Iris stopped looking away, not knowing if her face was still blushed or not, and said to Emily-

" Don't worry Emily. She's just joking... I doubt she'll try anything against us. "
Thinking about what Emily said Iris had mixed feelings what Emily said about her getting shot. Would Emily take a bullet for her?

Iris wondered something. How much longer would getting to the mall take? Iris hated walking around in this city. The more they walk around the greater risk they had of a monster attack.

Selena pauses to take another cigarette out and lights it, sucking deeply on her cancer stick, from this distance, she could easily take out of the girls if she really needed to, or wanted to, not that the thought hadn't cross her mind, but still...

"So, Emily, I take it you're the one on top, right?" She laughs softly, "Speaking of which, what's her name?"

Emily could tell Iris was a bit emberassed about the last bit that Selena said. She smiled a little at her emberassment. She had never had a relationship with a girl before but she has done some stuff with them. She'd prefer to not pay for stuff so she just went for guys and have one night stands with girls.

"Iris you have no idea how much I hope you're right, but I think we should be ready just in case... we don't know this girl at all and she likes blood shed too much."
She thought back to the warehouse. "What would have happened if this girl did it instead of me?" She thought, "She probably would have been happy with killing all those girls." She got disgusted at the thought. Then again she did kill them, but at least she fought to save them for as long as she could.

"Your jokes dont really have any effect on me."
She said with hostility in her voice. She was more worried about how Iris felt then how she did. Plus they couldn't have Iris emberassed and distracted when something might attack.

Iris was starting to get a little bit irritated. For whatever reason this girl felt like playing mind games with her and Emily. Iris hated to admit how embarrised this was getting her and how she was starting to want to pull her 9mm out and fire a warning shot at this girl. However Iris hid her emotions best she could, compressing them. Showing emotion showed weakness and now was a bad time to show weakness. Iris looked at Emily then said-

" Emily lets just ignore her jokes and keep our guard up. We can talk about this stuff later. "

Thinking about Jokes Iris was considered humorless. She had been taught to always take thing seriosly and never developed a sense of humor. Before while she was still at collage, before this nightmare happened, Iris had been trying to get a sense of humor by watching stand up. It didn't work out well.

Shrugs as she raises her rifle, idly lining up the sights with the girls, then lowering her rifle and looking around, keeping a watch out for the monsters

"Sure, be like that then, just wanted to know your name." If they were lucky, they wouldn't run into anything... but knowing her luck, well... "Useless of course you want me to refer to her as 'Emily's Pet'"

Iris stopped walking and turned around. She was getting sick of this girl but decided to just stay cool and give the girl her name. Iris quickly said to Selena-

" Sorry Selena, its hard to speak with you at this distance. My name is Iris. "

Iris then turned back around and walked with Emily. She hoped now that the girl had her name she would stop her nonsense, although Iris doubted it. As laid back and calm as Iris was acting she wanted to start getting angry. She was only acting the way she was because she was trying to rid herself of weakness and emotions. Getting pissed off over some annoying comments was weak and foolish.

Emily could tell Iris was getting angry at the girl. She wasn't sure how much she could control herself. She really didn't want Iris to strike first. If anyone was going to strike first it would be Emily. That was their best chance of having a non lethal battle between the two. Maybe Emily or Selena would get hurt but at least nobody would die.

"Iris... remember don't strike first, ok? I'll distract her if anything happens. I really don't want to see you get shot. Plus we have a better chance of a fight being non-lethal if I act as a distraction."

She said this hoping to remind Iris of what's going to happen if Selena does something hostile. She knew she could get shot or killed because of this plan but at least Iris wouldn't get hurt.

"Man... you two are weird."

Iris didn't give Selena's last statment a second thought, she only thought that it was very ironic. Then again maybe Iris was weird. She didn't really care if she was or not. Iris then attempted to try and focus on heer surrondings. She had to keep a look out for any monsters in the area...
