Azure was forced to get off when they reached the stairs, Emily graced the bed and the box on top of it down, while Iris used her strength to lead Azure down safely.

As the three made it back outside, after many stressful stairs, they glanced to the sky, finding that the sun was getting ready to set...

(One hour and fifteen minutes in game time until the sun sets...)

Iris saw how the sun was going to set soon. If they moved quick, they could make it. Iris only could pray that was true.

Emily was a bit distracted by the slime aphrodisiac, but she ignored it. If they were caught out here at night she didn't know what would happen. The situation was more desperate in her mind. They couldn't afford to stop and fight any monsters. They would most likely have to run if they saw any.

"Come on let's go fast!"

She said this hoping they would make it back without having to fight anything. Who knows what lurked out here at night...

Although the bed wasn't designed to go down the stairs, Azure getting off the bed undoubtedly helped the group getting down it, using the railing on the stairs to get herself down so none of the girls had too much strain.

Once at the bottom, Azure took position at the front of the bed and began motioning the others so she could peer carefully around corners and out the doors...

"Everyone take a look out fast. Careful... keep an eye out... and... Avoid anything that we know is dangerous. No manholes, no sewer grates, stay away from buildings so those crabs don't jump down on us... take it fast, quiet, and if you feel the slime's scent starting to leave, rub more on yourself."

She took up point by sitting near the front of the bed while still keeping balanced, and using her keen eyesight to watch for danger, as she motioned the group forward.

The girls proceeded for some time down the street, Azure riding on the bed with the supplies.

Everyone except Iris heard the footsteps of three Raptors quickly approaching them, running at full speed towards their prey.

(Iris failed the listen check, Azure and Emily however, succeeded, and may take action.)

(I knew we were going to be attacked.)

Azure heard the footsteps first and motioned quickly towards a nearby building, whispering quietly to her companions.

"We don't have time for a fight, get inside... That building. It looks empty enough. The doors inside are closed and the only way in is through the front. Leave the bed behind, the raptors aren't smart enough to know it's what we want. We'll force them to come after us one by one through the door and take them out as they rush in."

Azure hopped off the rolling bed and kicked down one of the brakes so it wouldn't roll off without them as she led the group into a nearby building, and prepared for the Raptors to approach.

Emily heard the sound of the raptors. She knew they had no time for this shit. She was getting desperate the only thing she could think to do is run. When she heard Azure's idea she just decided to go with it. Even though everything in her told her to just try to get back before nightfall she didn't want to ignore Azure right now. She did think of something for future encounters though.

"Azure... me and Iris rescued a sniper that saved us from about five hundred yards away... He has a really good shot... After this we should try to see if we can stay in his sights..."

Iris, confused at what was going on, didn't know how to react.

Azure couldn't go fast, the speed of the raptors quickly catching up before she could make her slow lumber towards the house.



(Enemy attacks)

A raptor leaped at Azure, trying to pin her, but as it landed against her, she luckily rolled out of it's snare.

Another raptor, taking advantage of Iris's surprise, slammed against her, it's leg pinning her to the ground, as she regains herself.

Emily, noticing her friend was oblivious to the situation, ran back to her, only to be interrupted by a raptor rushing at her. Emily quickly rolled out of the way as it charged at her.

(That's the situation, Kayi. You guys weren't right next to a door when you were attacked, so you had to make your way to one, which Azure had trouble doing, and Iris was unaware, though Emily had no trouble making it.)

Azure growled at the beasts, motioning the others to keep moving towards the house as she rushed towards it, she took aim with her gun as she ran towards the door and unloaded a volley of bullets at the beasts.

Any shots that hit the creatures was, of course, welcomed, but at very least she wanted to keep the creature from trying to rush her again and hopefully give herself, and her party members, time to get to the house.

(Triple Shot, take the last leg into the house and hold out against the Raptors getting inside.)

Feeling herself get pinned to the ground Iris then understood what was happening. Some kind of lizard monster had attacked her. Iris knew she didn't have time to fight the damn thing. Her only hope was to shoot it with her 9mm and escape the bastard. Iris would use her sword but stabbing the lizard like this would be to hard.

" Get off me! "


Iris took her 9mm and pressed it against the lizards leg, firing three shots into it.

Emily not wanting to waste anytime thought that Iris could take care of herself. She realized just then that she forgot to reload her gun back when they were resting. She would probably have to fight this thing with her sword.

"We don't have time for this!"

She yelled desperately.

(Reload her gun if it doesn't take a turn and fire three shots but if it does take a turn use the sword on the raptor that tried to stop her: Aggressive stance)

(Azure attacks, three shots)

Her first shot sent it back a little, then her second finished it off. It fell to the ground, it's blood forming a puddle on the ground.



(Iris attacks, three shots)

Under it's leg, Iris fired three shots. One of the first two missed, a bullet catching it's side, making it trail backwards as she fired another shot, the bullet killing it where it stood.



(Emily attacks)

Emily slashes the raptor, but only manages to make a slight cut, as the dino launches it's tongue into Emily's mouth, as Emily finds yet another kind of ooze pour in from the freakish tongue, almost as delicious as the slime's.

(Willpower check)

Emily's strong will prevailed, she fought the urge to swallow once more.

Azure was panting hard as she rounded and leaned back against the doorframe of the house, on the brink of exhaustion still. She kept her gun trained on the creature for a brief second, until she was sure it wasn't getting back up, at least anytime soon, before she rounded her gun on the one that was still on the attack, taking an aimed shot at the creature's head while it was pumping that ooze into Emily's mouth.
