The robot lurches forward on it's treads and fires another rubber slug at Ava. It is slow moving, and Ava is able to deflect it with her club, making a significant dent in the robot's outer skin. She also managed to loosen a couple panels on the robot. The outer skin doesn't appear to be too protective.

Wait a second... that robot is much more flimsy than it looks...

Deciding to take a gamble, Ava closes in to try smashing the robot with her club, hoping to break it apart...

Ava swings her club across her body, connecting with the robot. Sparks, hydraulic fluid, wires, and circuits go flying in all directions. The sight and sound would make Michale Bay impressed. Continuing its movement toward Ava for a moment or two longer, the force of the blow causes the robot to fall on its side, leaking oil in a puddle that looks disturbingly like blood.

Letting out a sigh of relief as the mechanical menace was destroyed, Ava took a moment to gather herself before searching the robot's body, in hopes of finding something useful.

Searching the robot reveals nothing but a mess of wires, broken circuitry, and shards of metal. Standing up from the robot's remains, she looks around the room.

Looks like it's back to searching the actual room...

Disappointed that her search of the robot had turned out fruitless, Ava returns to searching the actual room for anything that might be useful...

Resuming her search through the drawers and cabinets she hadn't searched before she was rudely interrupted by the robot, she unfortunately fails to find anything worth taking. Most of the cabinets look like that have been stripped before, and what was there hardly seemed useful.

Bah... nothing here of value... guess it's time to move on.

Slightly perturbed by not being able to find anything of use in the examining room, Ava resigns herself to heading back the way she came and through the door that had been in the other room's west side. If she was lucky, that door would send her on the right way in regards to finding the stairs...

Ava moves back through the first exam room, glancing over the area as she does so. Not immediately finding anything useful, she proceeds to travel to her west. Closing the door behind her, she finds herself in what looks like a maintenance access tunnel. There are a few containers spread about, but the tunnel is cramped, and travels to the south. Peering into the darkness, she hears metal clanking. After a few seconds, an air vent comes crashing to the floor, and a metal spiderbot falls from the vent. While still in mid air, it fires a rubber slug at Ava, hitting her in the leg.

Ava lets out a gasp of pain as the rubber slug impacted her leg, reflexively moving to nurse it a bit before her eyes met the perpetrator once again. Enraged, the white haired girl glared at the robot fiercely, readying her club once again to engage in another fight.

"You stupid piece of junk... I'll turn you into scrap metal!"

Dropping into a defensive stance, Ava waits for the robot to make the first move.

The Spiderbot lets out several beeps and whistles. It appears to be scanning Ava before this time launching it's body at her. Ava is able to dodge in time, and lands a heavy blow to the back of the bot as it flies by. The bot tumbles for a moment, shedding a couple pices, but quickly turns what Ava assumes is its front to her, beeping and whistling more impatiently now.

The spiderbot again flings itself at Ava, This time connecting with predictable force that a piece of flying metal would have. Reeling backward, she braces herself on the wall as the bot falls to her feet, preparing for what looks like a quick second attack.

"Oof!"

Reeling backwards in pain as she was rammed by the robot, Ava uses the wall to help her recover from the blow. Looking downwards almost as soon as she had done so, it was then that the girl saw the robot was preparing for another attack. Wasting no time, she did the first thing that came to her mind... attempt to kick the robot far away.

Ava kicks the spiderbot with as much force as a wall behind her could give. Not being able to swing very well, and with the spiderbot's legs digging into the plank floor, the spiderbot doesn't move, and all Ava has from her last assualt is a stubbed toe.

Clenching her teeth in pain as the kick failed to result in anything but hurting herself, Ava opted to try sneaking away to get into a better position for attacking, all the while ready to counter or block any attack the robot should make.

Ava steps over to robot the best she can to make her getaway to (I assume the south?) However, in mid stride, the robot reaches up and trips her. She falls back to the ground with a thud and notices the robot rapidly approaching.

Landing on the ground with a thud, Ava began cursing mentally as she struggled to her feet to face the incoming robot, club ready...

(Oh I'm sorry... I guess it's getting late for me, I can't read ^_^)

The spiderbot moves closer to her, shooting a grabber attached to what looks like a small chain. The chain grabs her right arm, and then in one fluid motion pulls back, bringing her down to one knee, almost causing her to drop her club. Until she can manage to escape this grabber, she is unable to escape.
