Mina neatly cuts the head from one of the attacking tentacles, but more reach to try and grab her.

The tentacles grab her, wrapping around her shielding arm and pulling her off balance before getting another few tentacles around her legs. Mina finds herself lifted off the ground before she can react, though more than a foot or so. The tentacles start snaking around under her clothes.

As she swings her sword to sever the appendages holding her, one of them wraps around her sword arm, stopping her mid swing.
