hi i try to play at succubus quest but i don't have text and the game bug at the third battle .. the sound continue but it is the turn of the ennemi but she make nothing do you have solution ? thanx a lot

thyladras u might have a broken file or some such like a bug in u'r computer a corrupt download something like that i believe

My game also doesnt have any text and the 3rd enemy doesnt attack i do my turn and it just doesnt continue

The game starts just fine, but I think something is buggy with my translator. I can only get it to work for that other game I downloaded. Of course, I try to change the file extension shortcut, but that didn't change it. And when I try to uninstall Translator Agg, it only tells me it's in use and can't be deleted... when I'm not using it!!

Ummm, the game doesn't seem to work since it always says it lacks some parts, can you post like an cd image or something of the install file please?

There is no CD image - it was sold as a direct download. Probably that exact file, actually.

You need to download and install the Japanese RPGMaker XP Run-Time Package (RTP XP). There's a download link in the first post of this thread.

No, not that, because the version he posted looks so different from the one you get, so i was wondering if his was modded or something, as for sq original i'll see i f i can get it up in megaupload.

Sorry to revoke this tread, but i cant get it to work.
And still didnt found a solution on the net.

I got the game, it starts but 1. with no text and 2. it crashes or lets say stucks on the 3rd enemy (Succubi) wich cant be defeatet by sword ans magic.

It is still in the Intro scene.

I tried to download the font first and added it to my font folder...doesn´t work.
Nothin has changed. i f itry do install a patch fpr sq the game crashes immidiatly. I even trid to change the RGSS102J.dll and rewrite it in the game.ini
but it doesnt worked.

I am simple at my limit i cant get it to work farther than the 3rd enemy.
Are there any solutions at all?

Try reinstalling the rtp.(at least i think it's made with xp, can't remember...)

so i downloaded the game, but when i open the file i have 3 things:

one a CUE file, a VLC media file (.bin) and another zip but there's nothing in it when i try to open it. Can anyone help me?

Basically, you need a program to mount it. try daemon tools maybe, they have a free version.

Ok so i unziped the Succubus quest zip and i got the program from this website:

I think i remember there was a translation project on hongfire, but no idea if it ever show results.

Sorry to revive this thread.
I have the same problem Moonchaos had.
There is no text on the game, and it seems to crash during the succubus battle.
I tried reinstalling ALL the RTPs, and nothing changed.

And yet, the second Succubus Quest game works fine...
I don't get it...

On other news. I have bopth games with me. Anyone want an upload?
