Re: Mission to Zebes - Out on MU

This is quite a decent game. The um... the most curious thing about it... is its REVERSE difficulty curve. Almost every single screen was drastically less challenging than the one immediately before it. Seriously, after the dickheaded ocean segment, it just keeps getting easier.

Anyone remember Bonk Adventures on the stupid Turbo Grafx 16?

Well. Um. The uh... the significance of my mentioning it was that it took a peculiar philosophy and applied it to what was at the time the DEFAULT genre in console gaming, and that philosophy was in regard to removing the difficulty curve entirely. The game never got any harder than it was on the first level, and this H-game here reminds of it thus.

Except you know. For all of the raping.

Re: Mission to Zebes - Out on MU

The ocean screen's hard? I have to really try to lose there, which is a shame because I enjoy losing on that screen the most.

The cave's probably the hardest for me, because the cave centipedes are really quick and come from an awkward angle and the fly pods don't always respond properly to being shot (and neither does their ammo). Does get progressively easier after that though, but the ocean screen's by far the easiest.

Incidentally, I hope the new engine works out well - there's a lot of creativity going into Swiss Made's work, I think with a decent engine it could be something mindblowing.

The most important things to fix, in my opinion, are censorship bars coming in when the game's uncensored (see the bubble creature before metroids/mother brain screen for an example) and the facial expressions. Sound clipping is also a perennial problem. If you want inspiration on how to do the face, try looking at any of Zone's click-to-continue flashes.

Honestly I don't give a shit about the game engine/style as long as there is a gallery code, in most cases im not playing a hentai game for the game aspect. Now I'm not ruling out that what the swissmade peoples has planned is going to be totally awesome, it might be the myst of porn games.

Suggestions? Its just a personal preference but hentai usually turns the bodily fluids output up to 11, I like that. MTZ had it but a lot of other swissmade games did not, in some of them there was no cum option at all. As for reactive faces, one thing MTZ that was awesome and rarely seen is is the "disgusted face",while i don't really know the logistics of monster rape i could imagine that having monster dong/tongue/seed forced into your mouth could be pretty gross and the character should react as such.

The first screen is the easiest? No it isn't, what the hell? Where am I? Who are you people?

What exactly kills you? Are you possibly partially colourblind? I could see that being a problem if you can't distinguish greens and blues.

Re: Mission to Zebes - Out on MU

Incidentally I am slightly.

BUTT...

the first screen is the ONLY one that doesn't consistently behave in a discernible pattern, and its the only one that doesn't have creatures broadcasting their distance to the player by their position in the ground clutter of the environment, but instead by growing larger as they whirl around. And its the only one in which the creatures attack from the entirety of the screen, instead of only the bottom half like most of them.

I completely agree about what are the most important fixes. Because I'm liking the voice of "Lucy Leeches" throughout, despite her being un-googlable.

Double post is bad form, use the edit function if you forgot something.

Besides, everything in the underwater part take's about 10+ seconds to get to you and there are no obstacles to hide behind, but since to me they are all boringly easy i guess i can't really judge which one is the easiest...

Try playing on weed. It makes the third screen more difficult for a start, you tend not to notice the seahorses. Also you give in more to wanting to lose >_>

Whatever. Blue/White is clearly the best deck composition. X)

I like how that one played out. Now, not only does it work for your original post, but it works even reflected at me for trying to call you out. Respect
