Update:

FINISHED creating all companions by name, description and class. Some of them have special cases where they might not fight against the pleasure for a short time, while others are dead set on not giving in. Some of them will give in because they have a fantasy about it, while others may give in as a calculated gamble to get a boost to their stats and go ape-shit on their attacker. This took much longer than I expected, almost two full days to get done, and as of right now it's the ONLY thing that has gotten done in the past two days.

Companion Spawn System will be the next thing I work on (likely either later tomorrow or on Monday.)


At this stage the only things left to finish up are the Companion Spawn System, Cut-Scene system, the database and the table for stat layout. Well on target to have this ready to go by this time next month when the holidays are all done, and I might even consider starting early if it's ready sooner.

Fair enough siphon, I would like to keep the same character. However might be worth looking into necro abilities maybe giving them a nuke since the curses you have at the start are more group centric.

Necromancer and Chantress got an overhaul to get some more offensive firepower. They both needed it. I'll have the new class descriptions up sometime tonight I think.

Mini Update:

New Character Class Information will start going up sometime tomorrow, I'm too tired to do it tonight.

FINISHED Companion Spawn System.


Left to Complete:

Cutscene System.

Stat Table (more for me than you folks, should help speed posting up).

Database (will include historical accounts so you know the time line, your characters will find out later in game).

Phantom Guide System (Your phantom helper has a big role). She also has a name, Cassidy.

Revision of Trap Spawns to possibly make certain traps not spawn until later in the game.

Potentially adding a new Trap or Enemy to the game. I had an idea earlier but I'm not sure how I want to proceed with it, or if I want it in this portion of the game or not.



Also, I am officially announcing that there WILL be a Part 2 to this game. Once Part 1 is complete, I will begin finalizing what is already there for Part 2. This will not have any bearing on when Part 1 starts game play, as I expect to have quite some time to finish and perfect Part 2 before anyone is remotely close to being on the verge of getting to it.


More updates should follow tomorrow at some point unless my day becomes super busy, at which point it might be Wednesday before another update is made.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that should Telara (my character) be corrupted and lose in her game, I will most likely make a new character sheet and start over with another character Siphon, just to try and make it to part 2 and beyond.

Mid-Day Update:

OK so in a moment of sudden clarity, I came to the realization that the shrine system needed a change. Due to this, I won't be posting the new character classes immediately, because it has changed components slightly.

There are going to be two types of accuracy in this game now. I have elected to increase the usage for the Intelligence stat, and make it be used for the new accuracy rating. The two types are Physical Accuracy Rating (Melee Attacks), and Magical Accuracy (Magic/Elemental/Shadow Damage based attacks). Due to this, I now need to revisit the character sheets, update them to include this new stat and classify each attack skill as a P.Acc or Mag Acc rated skill. This theoretically should increase the chances of landing some kind of hit somewhere, and I am also including spells for each class that won't require Mana Points that will deal some kind of damage so that Mage classes don't have to resort to their fists, while Melee Classes can do damage to something that is immune to physical damage.

About the Shrine changes, some of them completely changed from what I had originally placed in the game (Not sure anyone had come across one though), while others got a slight change, but in a good way. For example, certain shrines will PERMANENTLY increase a specific stat, or multiple stats. Some increase defensive stats, while others increase offensive accuracy stats. One increases your BASE stats, so that every single calculated number increases. While it only increases said stats by 2, this can stack. So if you happen to get say 25 of a specific shrine in one game, you just earned +50 to your stats that are covered by that shrine. While this can lead to boss fights getting much more interesting, it could possibly lead to a point where the PC has a chance of rolling through most normal based enemies, and only get a true challenge from the more difficult, end-game types, and of course bosses.

FINISHED the Phantom Guide system, which will lead to some interesting developments.


Next in Line (in order):

Revision of Trap Spawns.

Stat Table for ease of posting.

Database with ALL creature, trap, shrine boss and boss descriptions (from both parts of the game as they currently stand). I may be adding a new enemy or two to the first game, or traps before we start, but after we start anything further that I come up with would go into Part 2. It may sound pre-mature, but I am considering the possibility of creating an offshoot to the game that takes place after the events of Part 1 and 2, where the technology for simulator devices is created, and you are training to become new elite fighters for an all out war against the remaining armies of corruptors, to reclaim lost lands and purge all evil. Or perhaps I may go with a series of LONG missions you get sent on, taking place some time after your final escape, where the technology has been created to 'free' women from corruption points gained (those who aren't already 100% corrupted.). Perhaps I will do both eventually, but the idea came to me this afternoon as a lovely idea for a system that could ever expand, while allowing players to use their characters practically forever. If I go with the simulator idea, if they get corrupted the simulation ends, and they must restart the mission. That is a ways off though.

Cutscene System.

Part 1 would then be ready for launch, and I would begin working in earnest on Part 2. Once that were finalized, I would start toying and working on the idea of a sequel.

For new enemy ideas there is plenty in this thread, its a forum for people with a kissing fetish .

Other than that can you publish the bestiary/enemies? I have always been curious to what we can fight.

I actually decided I'm going to publish not only the monster descriptions and such, but I may end up doing short story works for each one eventually, showing a bit of history for bosses, and such. I'm also going to post the completed data table of possible stats for traps and normal enemies (Bosses won't have this as their stats are based off of your own at the time.)

I'll have to have a long look at that, muhahaha.

Mini Update:

ADDED another new stat called "Magical Defense". This stat will be used to determine if an enemy's special attack affects you. Note however that some enemies can ignore magical defense with their futa spells, so this is not a 100% lock to have a chance of resisting special skills.

Due to this, enemies will now also have the Magical Accuracy and Magical Defense stats. Your Magical Accuracy and Magical Defense stats are derived the same way. This allows for greater chances of resisting futa spells and special abilities that previously may have had a much higher chance of screwing you over.

Note that traps will NOT have a magical accuracy or magical defense stat, with the exception of the sentient traps (that will be explained in the bestiary).

This adds a little more work to be done, however I think it will ultimately balance things out.

Final Update for tonight:

So looking at some of the damage tables, I realized something. In my desire to balance things out and give the characters a chance, I may have overpowered many of their high tier skills. I've been attempting to fix this, but I'm having issues with it due to not wanting to drop the base damage too low. I want it balanced so trash enemies can possibly become no sweat, but still balanced enough that you can't literally two shot a boss, yet at the same time not make the battle drag out forever because of over-nerfing.

So, here's an idea that I shall mention.

I add in magical damage reduction/physical damage reduction to the stats for enemies only, while possibly buffing their HP some. My current thinking is that this will need to be scaled into a tier system to avoid early game enemies from suddenly becoming way too resistant to damage. So here's a thought.

1st Tier: Weakest Series of enemies (sentient traps would be here as well). This tier has 25% of their defensive stat to damage as damage reduction. So for example if they had a defensive stat of 200, they would get -50 damage taken against anything but shadow damage.

2nd Tier: Next Level enemies, they get 50% of their stat to reduction. -100 damage in the case of a 200 stat.

3rd Tier: 75% (-150 damage with a 200 stat), and the strongest of normal enemies.

4th Tier: Boss and Boss Minion Levels would have FULL defensive reduction. So with a 200 stat, -200 damage taken.

This could work as I am giving each class a skill that does Shadow Damage (if your attack lands), which will not cost any MP, and that damage is constant. It can't be increased by critical hits, however passive skills increase it's damage.

Then I can leave normal enemies (and minions) alone with their HP to Vitality ratio, while increasing Bosses enough to give them some survivability. The current system called for a boss to have 50x it's Vitality stat as HP. Well here is the problem. At that ratio, a stat of 100 would give it 5,000 HP. It seems like a lot until you factor in some classes can do upwards of 3-6 thousand damage PER HIT. Even with a damage reduction of say 500, you are still talking half it's HP or more possibly in a single shot.

I'm thinking I may have to significantly BUFF Boss type enemies and their stats to adjust for this. Now granted most characters can't indefinitely keep up that kind of offensive barrage, but let's say you are a Sorceress who has enough potions to fill your mana bar up four times in one fight to full again. Assuming every hit on her ultimate landed, she could cast it 5 times in one fight. At level 20 with her mastery spell, this spell hits for 6,000 damage a pop, so she could in a span of 5-6 turns deal upwards of 30,000 damage. Now a Boss with 5,000-15,000 HP suddenly doesn't seem so strong.

I've reached the point I can't nerf the skills any further than I already have, so I must consider somehow buffing enemies. It also gets to be an issue if we somehow get an Assassin+Sorc combo, for they could do upwards of 45,000 damage in the span of 5-6 turns for each, assuming they both are free to attack and land every hit, plus have the potions to keep it up.

So now my issue is, how much do I buff bosses? Do I give them 100,000+ HP to compensate for the fact they could literally lose HALF their HP in 5-6 rounds under the right circumstances? Or is this too much? Now I have an issue that I'm not sure how to fix.

UPDATE:

Right, so in a moment of what I can only call infinite wisdom imparted upon me, I may have figured out a way of fixing my problem mentioned last update. Special thanks go to both Tiffanian and Shrike7 for their help in getting the wheels turning, and some ideas that took off and flew.


CHANGES:

BOSS Enemies will now have a specific HP stat varying by what act/area they are in.

CHARACTER Skills: Some got a nerf, some actually got a buff. Mastery skills don't affect certain skills, some can't critical hit, and some won't stack with other skills. Some got changed around completely.

COMPANIONS: Companions will only do 50% of the damage a Player Character will. I decided to do this to keep the focus more upon the PC's struggles rather than having a companion who could literally out do you with little effort depending on your classes. This also allowed changes with the damage tables to go smoother and not require more nerfing, or even more insane boss HP totals.


Potential Change:

I might be re-doing the XP system to make leveling a little more challenging. As it stands, you don't need much XP to hit like 4 levels in one fight. That needs to be changed, and likely means increasing the XP requirements for lower levels.


Things left to do before Release:

Visions for your characters each time they encounter a new enemy (first time only)

Bestiary with detailed statistics of damages per level, descriptions and POSSIBLY pictures for those that I can find pictures for that actually suit my image of the enemy. Also will explain how their attack selection works.

Stats Table showing NPC and PC Damage outputs by level and skill.

Historical Database showing events you may discover in game.

Backstories for each Boss. This wouldn't likely be something you would learn in game, however it is possible it might be additional information not contained in the Bestiary, but rather for your own reading if you choose to do so. This will be the final thing done as it is not required to launch the game.

Potential Backstories explaining how each individual monster came to be what it is today. Like boss backstories, it is not a critical component.

Then of course Part 2 and the potential Part 3.



I think this covers everything still needing to be worked on, though if anyone sees something I may have missed please say. One final additional thought that is up in the air, and I will take a vote on this:

For your companion characters, defensive stuff is automated. However, do you want me to handle their offensive side, or do you the players want to choose what skills and what enemies they use/attack?

I believe that a sort of if the player wants to post up and take their companion's offensive actions, either which enemy they target or what skill/attack they use, then they can, but if they don't then you should control that aspect of them too. I personally would be setting my companion's target and what skill she uses in a battle where I need to manage everything well or risk losing said battle, especially on boss type battles, but on smaller random battles I may not do as such and leave what she does up to you. But that's just me.

Early Day Update:

REMOVED PC/NPC Tables due to their stats will be changing as they level, and it is impossible to predict where those stats will be placed, which means the bonus damage output for the damage tables can't be done.

REMOVED Boss Tables due to their regular stats outside of HP being variable on what the PC and her ally's stats are.

FINISHED Primary Trap Database, although I am going to be adding two more traps into the game before it's release.

FINISHED re-working the XP system. It shouldn't need any more tweaking.

STARTED Work on the Normal Enemy Tables, which is taking far longer than I expected. This may be a project that takes most of the day today, and might be the only thing I can finish today.

Completed Bestiary. This will show all descriptions as well as stat tables, and will be done via individual post. The Thread will be closed and updated when any future games with new enemies are put out. It will be broken into 4 different threads. POSSIBLY another update tonight, it depends on if I get this enemy table completed today or if it takes longer. It's an extremely large table of contents to say the least. Once it is completed, I will probably add the new traps in so they are placed, and then begin placing up character class sheets. There is enough time before my projected start date to complete the vision system, as well as all the back stories and historical database, and I will complete the back stories before placing the Bestiary up. I decided their history would fit better in there.

Quick Update:

It's taking way longer than I anticipated for the normal enemy tables. Not even 25% through it because of how large these tables are. This is likely to take all of today and at least 1, maybe 2 more days to complete in and by itself.


The GOOD NEWS though is that once this is done, it's a simple matter of finishing up some descriptions and back stories for the Bestiary, and then that as well as the character sheets can start going up.

Morning Update:

STILL working on the damage tables, which are seriously the longest work I've ever undertaken. This actually is going slower than some of the book type things I've written for the blank page before! However, it is officially at 25% Completed now, and there's plenty of day left to work with.


However, enough has been completed now that later tonight, I can reveal the new look character classes! NPC's won't be revealed until you actually get them, which will lend to some surprises. Also worth noting is that the maximum a stat can get to is 100 naturally. So you can only spend enough points to put a single stat, such as Strength, to 100, and further levels MUST come from Shrines. Given the number of stats in the game is only at 5, you can fully max 4 stats to 100 and have some left over for the 5th stat by the time you hit Max Level (30). Due to this, the combat roll system is changing slightly, and instead of (Figured Stat+Dice Roll=A number reaching towards 750), it will look like this. (Figured Stat+Dice Roll=A number reaching towards 1,000). So if you had a 500 Figured Stat (MAXIMUM possible) for let's say Evasion, your roll would look like this.

(500 Figured Stat + D500 Roll = A Number somewhere between 501 and 1,000) before any buffs or debuffs took effect.

I do not anticipate players getting enough shrines to go beyond a 600 stat in the course of the game, however should this happen I may make a change on the fly to keep the dice rolls from getting horribly unmanageable.


On a side note, I've had some wickedly evil ideas for enemies to be added in Part 2 of this game, and I may leak a spoiler for one or two of them tomorrow as a Christmas Gift. All I will say now is this: It might not be just your characters these beasts have children with. And rumor amongst demonkin has it that you might be forced to 'play' with your companion.

Character Sheets are now up, and the damage table database is approximately 60% complete as of now. I am hoping to have that finished sometime tomorrow, and begin working on the final stages of the Bestiary for deployment.

Currently things are on pace for a January 15th start to the RP, and I will keep you posted on any changes to that time frame should there be a change.

Mid-Day Update:

Damage Tables are COMPLETE! I am beginning to add a bit of history to each trap, enemy and boss, so this may take a little bit. I am hoping to have the Bestiary posted by the weekend at the latest, so stay tuned for that.


Combative Systems will have a new thread to be displayed, giving you a fair idea how things will work in combat, trap avoiding and such. This will be the last thing I post, along with the new Pregnancy Table indicating who needs what roll to hit that unlucky stat.


Visions for first scan will be the next target, and work will commence on that the moment I finish the back history of the enemies. Once that is complete, then the first portion of the game will be ready to go!



And now, the spoilers I was mentioning last night. One I don't have much work done on yet, it's in the idea phase, but the other I've got way more than I am going to place here.


Spoiler #1

I am working on an enemy hybrid form. This may include multiple enemies, or only a handful for Part 2. One of the new ideas for this is a Slime Girl Succubus. Essentially a slime girl with the abilities of a Succubus to steal your life force each time you orgasm, and she might even have the ability to sprout tentacles to keep you from going anywhere quickly.

New Boss named "Queen Vallnara" (Yes I took this from Rift, deal with it :p).

Queen Vallnara isn't JUST another spider enemy that wants to rape you. No, she has a new trick up her sleeve. Queen Vallnara is the first boss in the game (and currently the only one) who has a special 'treat' in store for you if she captures both you and your companion. She has a powerful attack that when executed, penetrates both women anally with a special tentacle type protrusion. Once she has them both secured with this, she chooses one woman (based upon the character classes), to become the primary futa chick. Then, using her tentacles, she will force the chosen woman to thrust into the pussy of her ALLY. Vallnara will attempt to force victim #1 into raping victim #2, making you rape your companion, or forcing your companion to rape you. If the penetrating woman suffers an orgasm, she runs the risk of impregnating her ally. But not just any impregnation, no, as soon as she orgasms, the tentacles in her ass will channel magical energy, converting the seed she spurts into her friend into spider seed, and her friend will become pregnant with a random type of spider enemy! As a bonus to the woman who is drilling her friend, if her friend suffers an orgasm, Vallnara's magic will cause the 'normal' woman's pussy to clench and contract in the same way a demon pussy would, doubling the pleasure the penetrating woman feels! If you are unlucky enough to have this happen, and both orgasm at the same time, then congratulations, you two lovely ladies are having a baby. Well, maybe congratulations aren't in order.


So yes, some wicked ideas are in the mix. Merry Christmas to all, and I do hope at least some of you enjoyed the 'gift' of spoilage :p
